*Update:* Here are 17 Settings You NEED to Change in macOS Sequoia: ruclips.net/video/CiUyWkrDq5Q/видео.html iPhone Mirroring is a game changer tbh. I use it daily! What do you think of it?
I have an iMac (M1…..in teal color) which is just fabulous. Now, with iPhone mirroring, it makes everything available from the iPhone right on my desktop. Thanks Apple!!!.
@@BrandonButch Hey Brandon, could you try assigning a keyboard shortcut to writing tools and see if that works. I've tried already but it doesn't seem to work. Even found an article on Quora where others are experiencing this issue. Writing tools is a great feature but it should work using a keyboard shortcut. Thanks!
There are many channels on RUclips dedicated to this type of content, but none are as good as this one, always explaining everything as it should be and easy to understand.
For example, it simplified many things for me, so much so that when I had to use an office from BNH Software, activating it became very easy for me thanks to the knowledge acquired.
Hello Brandon , I want to ask you what is better to buy, is it the iPhone 15 pro or the standard 16. Me personally I was going to get the 15 pro but after watching the event and a lot of reviewers I decided the buy the standard 16. I took my decision but I want to know your opinion?
Fantastic update indeed, iPhone Mirroring is certainly the highlight and the best feature to come out to the Mac since Universal Control back in Monterey, always love these kind of features that flex the power of the ecosystem.
I've wanted the iPhone mirroring for years. Every once in a while, I would look for an app that could do it. I never found a good one I really liked. So excited for that one.
True, but you can change your apple id and your mac and iphone region to the united states and, after you restart both devices and wait about a day, iphone mirroring will be available to you. However, this will mess with your subscriptions and your payment methods, so be careful
Was about to delete magnet, but Apple's window tiling leaves giant gaps between the windows (even when you disable "tiled windows have margins" there's still a small gap compared to magnet), so I'll be sticking with magnet.
After many many years this is one of the iconic mac os updates I've seen so far. Those minimal changes are a big deal for mac users since they are very useful in day-to-day life. And shout out for all the effrot that brandon put into this video by organizing them in such a way that viewers can instantly know about every single feature in-deapth is crazy. 😊😊😊😊
Maybe in macOS 16 next year or 17 in 2026 (some design changes are rumored). I'm not sure if that will come anytime soon as macOS doesn't force the rounded rectangle shape for app icons in order to preserve Mac OS X compatibility and the ability for icons to extend outside the rounded rectangle.
Awesome video. I sat with MacBook today and went through most of the features. The video player and read modes were new for me, also liking the windows tiling thing is cool.
Man, when do you sleep? The notifications from my iPhone on my Mac was so overwhelming it reminded me to go into my iPhone and to shut down so many notifications.
Also, the headphones accommodation accessibility feature already available on iPhone and iPad is now available on Mac (and Apple Watch, don't know if it was already there). Finally no more difference in the music listening experience between devices. I had stopped using Music on Mac for this missing feature.
Great video. Not sure if you get to it (I'm about half way through, but I just wanted to say they've added a TON of features that they're not labeling as accessibility features, but they are to the books app. Ironically no vertical scrolling still but you can now set it to one column without having to be super zoomed in on the Mac, and you can change your line spacing your character spacing your word spacing etc. This is HUGE for people with dyslexia. I actually sent in feedback about this so it makes me really happy!) I aso suspect that they've added these descriptions to the OS settings because of how often people who are bored and don't know what they're doing end up in settings (especially accessibility) that end up turning things at which point they make it so that they now can't use their computer or phone the way they used to. I think they're probably also hoping they can cut down on the number of delusional people who think they've been hacked because something on their phone confuses them. Really what I'd love to see is particularly for accessibility, but also for other features, it'd be great if rather than a learn more link to a text doc which the people who really need to read never will they just included a button to open a video player that would explain how that feature works or what this stuff in settings does. Particularly I'd love one in accessibility that said, "VoiceOver is intended for people who are blind" (or experiencing blindness, whatever the current respectful way of saying it would be. I know there's various schools of thought on phrasing.) But there really should be a specific warning that says these features were designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities. So while you're free to enable them you may want to double check what they do before you turn them on lest you make it so you don't know how to use your phone anymore.
I upgraded by mac to 15 Sequoia however, it does not have the Apple Intelligence & Siri. May know what may have caused that issue? I have a m1 mac pro.
@@sohailsnow yep. its pretty nice, everything is smooth. on an unrelated note the new iphone features seem not great (the photos app in particular) and not very responsive. but the mac is well done this time.
