Great video Ron and Roland. Allett Kensington 20 has been a great mower for my size lawn and that Sterling is a huge step up for the company especially for filling a niche for battery powered lawn mowers. This is a serious machine
Sensei Ron! Once again, another great video featuring the new Allett mower! Definitely about to purchase! I spoke with Roland and he put me on the right track, a great guy! Over all, i think this is a great battery powered unit that will stand the test of time!
I purchased the Allet Kensington because of the versatility with the different cartridges and ease of back lapping reels. For my use on a somewhat hilly yard, the machine was to light. I went back to the McLane and when I upgrade, it will be to a Toro GM.
Nice video Ron! I recently bought the older electric model the Liberty 43 and a few mods I had to make was adding skateboard tape to the drum (game changer on a slope) and I had to add 20lb of weight to the right to balance out the uneven cut. Other than that it’s been working great!
Great content Ron! I hope the US mens national soccer team will be coming by to test the turf quality also 😝. Let me know if Allett wants to “test” on KBG. Can certainly tell how much lighter the unit is as you run it (slight left to right movements as you walk). Cheers
I see Mr. Hall is making his rounds (he was with Pete up in NC) which says a lot about your lawn and channel! Nice video Ron and that mower definitely looks better than their Liberty model, as he mentioned it was priced in-between the homeowner and commercial line. I would definitely enjoy having one with all the cartridges if it was given to me as a gift! :) Looks to be a better quality machine than the Swardman Electra (of course for the price it should). I wonder if ReelRollers would become an Allett dealer? I did see your comment that RR is able sharpen the reel which is something to consider down the road. Thanks!
Heya THeo. If I said, Reel Rollers, I meant Reel Works. They sound similar but it's Reel Works that can sharpen the reels for you. Not sure on Reel Rollers becoming an Allett dealer. Happy that Roland decided to let me have a look at the unit. I've wanted to try out an Allett for a while. I get why the owners are so crazy about the mowers.
@@RonHenry My bad... you are correct that you mentioned Reel Works in another comment. I read that too fast. :) Good to know of a local store that can sharpen these blades before buying a machine like that.
I think Reelrollers is doing business with Swardman. But I have heard that swardman has only one distributer ( Landzie) in the US so things for them are abit iffy right now.
I look at it this way. If you are really into lawn care. This one machine does the job of what was multiple machines each costing about $3500. They just need to develop a core aerator cartridge and this will be the ultimate all in one system.
@@CrazyManwich You SPOT ON AERATOR option!!! I would love purchase a machine (because of red clay dirt) that I can change the cartridge and replace with aerator cartridge!
Can you do a video on maintenance of the allett machine I’m curious if the allett has grease zerk like the tru cut does or if you could just answer this question i would appreciate it thanks
Hi Beau. It does have grease zerks. There are a couple on the front roller and 2 on each of the cartridges. There aren't a lot of grease points compared to a Greensmaster or TruCut.
I bought a Sterling that I should be receiving in a few weeks. l have a front yard that is on a slop. Do you know how high you had to the speed up to get up the hill ? My hill is not as steep as yours.
Looks good but it seems light weight. I noticed it had a bit of a ‘wiggle’ when you were walking it. Did you feel that and any comment about how it was to control for straight lines?
Hi Tod. It is lighter than my GM so doesn't settle in and just track dead straight like heavier mowers do. It does a better job than other cartridge mowers that I've used. It does wiggle a bit more than the GM but that's due to the substantial weight difference between the mowers.
4K-5k without battery... Any idea what the other cartridges run? Battery equipment really has come a long way...but my GM 16K isn't being traded though anytime soon though. Allett is quality no doubt..Good to see no scalping like someone else 😂😁✋
I didn't ask about pricing Brad H because I figured that would be subject to change and would date the video. The cut is pretty good. I'm really interesting in the ability to use their cutting system as far as verticutting regularly. I like the results I'm getting this year from only doing it once. I imagine regular verticutting would be a game changer.
Correct me if I am mistaken. I noticed that all of the gear drives on the cartridges shown here are shiny metal, but I am pretty sure I saw in a different video that they are white plastic on their standard units.
@@RonHenry Just my opinion, but the plastic are unacceptable on the mower at this price point. Having said that, there are many things I love about the product. I had an EGO, and battery is fine, but I prefer gas mowers.
I hear your William. The plastic gears are on the older mowers I believe. I believe all the Stirling mowers come with metal cog gears. Have you heard of the plastic gears breaking?
People are talking about it being $4639 but I just put it in the shopping cart along with the 5 cartridges and the subtotal is a whopping $8,174. Add in tax, shipping (maybe they throw you a bone and ship for free?), and a battery and you're coming in at a 401k melting $9k. Speaking of my 401k, let me go check my balance...WTF!?!?! Looks like I won't retire, let alone buy a $9k mowing system. So much for the benefit of it being an all in one that supposedly saves you money from buying multiple machines. Guess I'll buy a used GM 1600, a Sunjoe scarifier/dethatcher, and still have enough left over to buy a Billy Goat PLUGR reciprocating aerator and a few stocks while they're down.
Great review. Very smart of them to partner with EGO! Question though... Did you find the start of the mower's roll "jerky" or smooth? Curious if the "move forward" button is on/off vs more analog (pressure sensitive, like a throttle)?
Your lawn looks awesome but i have a question - why do You cut so low if there is clearly visible ground in some areas? (for example at edge of slope 13:39)
You might be one of the few people that can answer this question: How does the cut quality (stragglers, evenness of cut, etc) differ between the Sterling and the Toro 1600, if any? If you had to pick one of those mowers to mow your lawn, which one would you use and why?
I've been eagerly waiting for an EGO reel/cartridge mower, but never expected it would come from someone other than EGO, lol! Allett made a smart decision to go with the gold standard EGO battery platform. However, I'm dissapointed that EGO has not seized on this market yet. Many will not be able to afford the cost of this Allett Sterling, but an EGO version would necessarily be priced for the homeowner market and would likely cut into sales of this unit - I wonder if EGO has decided to cede the cordless homeowner cartridge/reel mower market to Allett?
Not sure on that one Scott. Allett is better at building reel mowers while EGO has proven battery technology. I'd imagine they came to some kind of agreement.
@@RonHenry Allett is the king of reel mowers, but EGO doesn't have to produce a reel mower to compete with Allett, they just have to produce one that's better than the current crop of $150-300 cordless reel mowers from the likes of Sun Joe, Ryobi and Scotts. They would fit nicely in that market at around $500-1500 for various options and different cartridges, with a highly versatile, cartridge upgradeable, consumer friendly, scaled down version from this Allett mower at significantly less cost.
Apparently they are liutang. Makes sense vs designing from scratch. EGO makes a bazillion electronic lawn tools. You'd think they'd have all the bugs worked out;
I know this was not the purpose of the video and it’s not really an apples to apples comparison, but I assume the cut quality would be in the ballpark of your Tru-Cut or was it a step up between it and your GM?
I was just feeling down on investing into Ego as they are severely lagging behind in terms of product variety / diverse ecosystem, but this sucks me back in. I need this now lol.
Great video sir 👍🏾.I'm looking to add another reelmower for a bag up mower that mower would be nice 🤔. Ron how long does the battery 🔋 last 🤔. AWESOME video
I believe it lasts around 45 minutes depending on the size and cartridge you're using. Cartridges like verticutting or dethatching would likely deplete it faster than reel mowing. Appreciate you watching sir. :-) It's a nice unit.
Cool vid Ron , with a lot of great info. I have a slightly older Allett Kensington and this was nice to see their new battery option. Would be great for those super early morning mows , certainly more harmony with the neighbors. And their interchangeable cartridge system is definitely a nice feature with their products. I am curious to know how is the run time ? I have battery options for smaller equipment like stick edgers, leaf blowers etc which are fine. But I have noticed with bigger equipment like my friends and neighbors that have battery mowers or big equipment like snowblowers (I have a spare / backup battery snowblower myself) that run time can be an issue. Would you able to do your whole backyard on one charge ?
I didn't get to explore the runtime Andrew because spent alot of my limited time filming different angles and shots. From what I understand something like 45 minutes depending on which battery and cartridge you're using. My back lawn is around 9000 square feet so I might be able to cut just it it on one charge. I'd likely have to swap to cut the swale and front though. I didn't get to test that unfortunately. Limited time.
@@RonHenry np and very understandable in limited time. That seems to be my main issue with big equipment powered by batteries , in my experience as well as family , friends and neighbors. The small equipment is no issue but the bigger stuff seems to be a common problem ; especially mowers and snowblowers. I knew your backyard is huge which is why i was curious ; my entire property front , back and side combined are slightly smaller than just your backyard. Also , one expense many tend to overlook with large battery powered equipment is the lifespan of the batteries. I had to replace my Toro snowblower battery after 1.5 seasons and it was over $300 and mine is just a medium size blower. A friend of mine has an EGO mower and halfway into his second season needed to replace his battery. Something to factor in and consider.
I really want an Alleit system, but a bit out of my price range right now. Also, I am super busy during the week and also have a pretty big yard, so wish they had a 25" - 27" model for this.
@@RonHenry you're welcome, love the channel, and the lawn. Right now I have a Honda HRX that does a good job, but no comparison between reel and rotary. I have about 7k ft² of Tifway 419 in the Charlotte area. Probably will "go big" and install irrigation and get the reel all at once when I do. Don't think I could cut reel low without irrigation and don't have the patience to move the hose manually to 8-10 watering spots.
Not at all Higgie. I had it just for the morning to make the content. The little time that I had with it was impressive if you take care of the grass the way they recommend. It’s pretty cool stuff. It’s more solidly built than other interchangeable cartridge mowers.
I push reel mow my lawn at 1/2 inch and it feels bumpy at certain spots but gets the job done, will this be ok if I leave my current lawn at its current condition or do I need to level first? How do you sharpen the blades?
Hi Alex. If you're currently mowing at half inch without scalping, you should be able to do so with the Stirling too. Leveling will smooth the lawn out, so I'd recommend doing it if you have the time. Will really transform your lawn.
You'd have to ask Allett Jim. I'm sure there's a way to do it. Roland did mention that backlapping was a way to keep the edge sharp between grinds. Not sure if the system can run backwards or if there's a kit you'd need to get.
My opinion - at the very least, they need offer an option for a battery and charger for USA buyers. Then, some price parity with the UK market. About the equivalent of $3400USD (as of May 2022) there and that INCLUDES the 5aH battery and charger. That price point here would be a slam dunk.
It runs for around 45 minutes depending on which cartridge you're using Randy. Not sure how long the battery lasts. I'd imagine it's a combination of temperature and how it's cycled.
About 45 minute runtime depending on the cartridge being used. I didn’t put pricing in because it’s subject to change and I didn’t want to date the video. Can get pricing on their website.
@@RonHenry I’m definitely intrigued, but kinda of expensive. But kinda like attachment swapping options. Great job. Have enjoyed watching you grow since you started.
Yep it’s above the price point for many, I’d be willing to go 3k maybe 3.5K for a system that takes the place of many items but there is still too much plastic in these units, it WILL fail, even the gas powered Kensington has the plastic safety switch and my neighbor was ready to send his back the same week he got it and they offered him Honda upgrade for free to keep they need to offer it equipped with ten blade. I don’t bow above 7/16 and this 6 blade standard reel is not going to cut it, pun intended, and I have a putting green at 1/4 inch so offer the 10 blade Roland. You seen like a good guy Roland but serious lawn guys don’t want a 6 blade, you say this is for the connoisseur and not the hobbyist yet you offer it with a hobbyist reel. And that’s how all your mowers come… equipped with rotary to hobbyist reel. Trucuts and McLanes are easily boring and difficult at times but they are not built it’s plastic.
This is leaps and bounds above their previous homeowner units from a build quality standpoint. There's a 10 blade available for it which you could goto if you're cutting below .75". Most people don't mow below half inch; not for any extended period of time anyways. Take a big time commitment from a mowing standpoint.
Hi Rob. A reel mower allows you to mow shorter with less damage to the grass between mowings. If you goal is to get lawn that looks like a golf course or professional sports field, a reel mower is a great choice. They're really only for people that like and have time the to mow several times per week.
Shame it's over $5k if u want a battery and charger..... It's pretty insane honestly. Saw this on Petes channel a few days ago. My Swardman gas mower was only $3300. It's nice that it's a Ego system though.
I love the mower Ron !! But at over $4500 dollars REALLY these guys need to think about us home owners. When's the last time I saw a $4500 dollar reel mower on a home owner lawn um never. I understand all the features and craftsman ship that goes into these machines it's first class. But how about something feasible like a $1000 dollars for a 17 inch or something along the lines. I'm not dis pleased with the Allett reel mower it's bad to the bone. Allett please consider us " home owner" guys with a more economical price. Yes I understand it's not going to have all those $4500 features. Just ranting but man I would love to have a Allett battery reel mower but the price just isn't doable. Just may need to appreciate my TruCut and McLane reel mowers that I have until that do a fantastic job at cutting. Thanks Ron for putting out some lawn content for us GURUS that love mowing that Bermuda three times a week.
I hear you on the price C A. I think the issue they just don't sell enough of them to be able to offer the unit at a lower price and still recoup development and other costs. Agree that $4500 is steep. It's a great mower though.

Season being a couple of hours. 😎 I believe he has to take it to other RUclipsrs so can’t leave for a long time.
I purchased the Allet Kensington because of the versatility with the different cartridges and ease of back lapping reels. For my use on a somewhat hilly yard, the machine was to light. I went back to the McLane and when I upgrade, it will be to a Toro GM.
I hear you Alan. It could do with a bit more weight for my taste too. I like a heavier mower.
Got the liberty 43, works great at 1/2 to 3/4 on for my 2500 sq. Ft.
Nice Walt. I get it now why Allett owners are so brand-loyal.
OK, now I’m more interested than ever. Now I have to decide on a used Toro Greensmower and this model. Decisions, Decisions
The American answer would be BOTH Papa Mows Low. :-)
Ron, great to see this video. I shall certainly be checking out the option of an Allett cylinder mover to add to my existing Honda rotary mower
Glad to help Shazia. For small to medium lawns lawns it's perfect.
I gots ta get me one of these!! I’m already invested in the EGO product family, so no brainer!
If you already have the batteries, it definitely makes it easier. It's a very cool mower. Lot's of capability.
Nice video Ron! I recently bought the older electric model the Liberty 43 and a few mods I had to make was adding skateboard tape to the drum (game changer on a slope) and I had to add 20lb of weight to the right to balance out the uneven cut. Other than that it’s been working great!
Hi SkinnyGeek1010 glad that your Liberty43 is getting it done for you. :-) The mods sound pretty cool.
Superb video, that's a very interesting machine. Great lawn as well!
I was impressed with it SRT8Cat. Didn’t think it would make that much difference in the lawn.
Great video 🤩.. thank you for keeping us up to date with the latest and greatest equipment
You bet Chuck! Appreciate you watching sir.
He must be making his rounds with all the RUclips lawn guys.
Apparently. Glad I made the list. 🔥😎
great channel thanks for the reviews, I want to look into a new reel mower I really like your content
Thanks 👍
I would really like to see you cutting the grass when the grass is alot longer. Thank you.
Hi Carlos. My grass doesn't tend to get very long so that will be difficult to show.
Ok, Ron. I thought I ask you that question. Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate and answer me back. Have a nice day.
Great content Ron! I hope the US mens national soccer team will be coming by to test the turf quality also 😝. Let me know if Allett wants to “test” on KBG. Can certainly tell how much lighter the unit is as you run it (slight left to right movements as you walk). Cheers
It's a nice unit Tom but lighter than my Greensmaster for sure. I'd like to get my hands on one of their commercial units. They look like tanks.
Great video Ron! Looks like a great machine!
Thanks Luis! I appreciate you watching.
Nice machine, but for $4,600 i don't even get a battery???😂
Yeah not sure burtoft. Maybe it's supply chain issue or they assume that people buying them will already have EGO batteries?
I look at it this way. If you are really into lawn care. This one machine does the job of what was multiple machines each costing about $3500. They just need to develop a core aerator cartridge and this will be the ultimate all in one system.
@@CrazyManwich
You SPOT ON AERATOR option!!! I would love purchase a machine (because of red clay dirt) that I can change the cartridge and replace with aerator cartridge!
There is an aeration cartridge Crazy Manwich. I just didn’t cover in the video due to time constraints. It doesn’t remove cores though.
You’re right about it being all in one.
How is the reel sharpened? Do you have to ship it somewhere or can you backlap it yourself?
I believe you can backlap Greg and Reel Works in Northeast GA can sharpen them.
Mmmm. It was like 1 or 2 notches faster ejm2. It's really easy to adjust the speed as you make the pass up or downhill.
So, how about some recommendations for mere mortals with a smaller yard?
What kind of recommendation are you looking for? Mower?
Looks good but it seems light weight. I noticed it had a bit of a ‘wiggle’ when you were walking it. Did you feel that and any comment about how it was to control for straight lines?
Hi Tod. It is lighter than my GM so doesn't settle in and just track dead straight like heavier mowers do. It does a better job than other cartridge mowers that I've used. It does wiggle a bit more than the GM but that's due to the substantial weight difference between the mowers.
@@RonHenry appreciate the response Ron. I have a GM1000 (purchase inspired by you) and I’m SO happy with it.
Love your videos.
4K-5k without battery... Any idea what the other cartridges run? Battery equipment really has come a long way...but my GM 16K isn't being traded though anytime soon though. Allett is quality no doubt..Good to see no scalping like someone else 😂😁✋
About 5 hundred each.
Ron , Allett is without a doubt quality.... Great video as normal
Almost 40k gigantic jump season 4 to 6 from a hobby to a business Ron how was the cut quality compared to the greens master
Correct me if I am mistaken. I noticed that all of the gear drives on the cartridges shown here are shiny metal, but I am pretty sure I saw in a different video that they are white plastic on their standard units.
I believe that’s correct William. The Stirling has metal cogs vs. plastic cogs on the other residential Allett mowers.
Looks like a great machine!! If something were to happen and I needed to get it serviced or repaired here in the states where would I take it?
Allett has a facility in South Carolina. The only service you should really need is sharpening the reel which can be done locally.
For $4,600 it should include the cartridges and battery!
Nah. Not possible. They’d go out of business doing that.
Definitely an approach Jason.
You said that perfectly
Great review. Very smart of them to partner with EGO! Question though... Did you find the start of the mower's roll "jerky" or smooth? Curious if the "move forward" button is on/off vs more analog (pressure sensitive, like a throttle)?
It felt smooth to me Michael.
Ron, hate it that I missed you this pass weekend out at Reel Rollers function. With all your knowledge, what would be your all around favorite?
Hi Chad. I like all of them. They all have pros and cons. The Allett is the most versatile.
Your lawn looks awesome but i have a question - why do You cut so low if there is clearly visible ground in some areas? (for example at edge of slope 13:39)
That's an area that was damaged due to traffic ww0. It doesn't look like that now.
You might be one of the few people that can answer this question: How does the cut quality (stragglers, evenness of cut, etc) differ between the Sterling and the Toro 1600, if any? If you had to pick one of those mowers to mow your lawn, which one would you use and why?
They all produce a great cut. The Greenmaster 1600 or Allett C27 produce better stripes due to being heavier. All great mowers.
Good video Ron. I’m ready to invest in a Reel Mower.
You won't regret it David. Next level cut for your lawn.
The dream machine. I wish I could afford it.
I hear you Salvador. Definitely not inexpensive.
I didn't know EGO was licensing their tech. Interesting.
Apparently they are liutang. Makes sense vs designing from scratch. EGO makes a bazillion electronic lawn tools. You'd think they'd have all the bugs worked out;
I know this was not the purpose of the video and it’s not really an apples to apples comparison, but I assume the cut quality would be in the ballpark of your Tru-Cut or was it a step up between it and your GM?
It's better than the TruCut because of the front comb and rear drum keep the mower flatter than the drive wheels of the TruCut. Not as good as the GM.
I was just feeling down on investing into Ego as they are severely lagging behind in terms of product variety / diverse ecosystem, but this sucks me back in. I need this now lol.
You like it eh?
Edges on front loooking crisp
Trying Rio. Gotta keep it tight for you guys. Appreciate you watching.
@@RonHenry you got that right 👍🏾
Ron please ? How do you achieve that bowling like green view ? Allett is always saying how to do stripes … but we need just a clean green view
Several rounds of top dressing Cash. I baby the lawn quite a bit.
Allett is the GOAT of all mowers.
They make a good unit.
Nothing like $6000 lawn mower!
Right?
Bro!!! Standing next to him really showcases how tall you are. Hahaha.
I'm 6'4" which is definitely on the taller side. Makes buying clothes a pain.
Great video Ron 👍💪
Glad you enjoyed it Robbie. It's a nice unit. The UK is bringing it.
Good review, I don’t care for the ego plastic handlebars and flimsy buttons For nearly $5000.
I hear you Livendi. It is pretty solidly built. The mower does not feel cheap.
I hear you mjterifaj. They make wider units but that's in their commercial line. I'd want/need a wider one for my lawn. Appreciate you watching.
Allett has a gas 30 inch Buckingham, and they also have 27 and 34 inch commercial reel mowers. Premium products with a premium price.
Very cool. Did you get to keep it?
Not at all Higgie. I had it just for the morning to make the content. The little time that I had with it was impressive if you take care of the grass the way they recommend. It’s pretty cool stuff.
It’s more solidly built than other interchangeable cartridge mowers.
Is this unit able to mulch only? Grass clippings are illegal to be in the trash, and the local yard does not except clippings either.
You could just not use the grass catcher DJ. If you’re mowing frequently, the clippings will break down quickly.
I would like to have heard or understood how this differs from the Liberty model. Thee Liberty seems to be a bit more price friendly.
Not sure really Tim. Maybe I'll see about having Roland on the live stream to answer these questions.
I push reel mow my lawn at 1/2 inch and it feels bumpy at certain spots but gets the job done, will this be ok if I leave my current lawn at its current condition or do I need to level first? How do you sharpen the blades?
Save your money…I owned an Allett Kensington and sold it after one season. Definitely was to light.
Hi Alex. If you're currently mowing at half inch without scalping, you should be able to do so with the Stirling too. Leveling will smooth the lawn out, so I'd recommend doing it if you have the time. Will really transform your lawn.
@@alanallgower8318 thanks for letting me know! I’ll continue with my manual reel mowing.
Nice
Is this unit self propelled or are you pushing it up that hill?
It’s self propelled Adam
How do you backlap it?
You'd have to ask Allett Jim. I'm sure there's a way to do it. Roland did mention that backlapping was a way to keep the edge sharp between grinds. Not sure if the system can run backwards or if there's a kit you'd need to get.
Take my money now!
Hahaha. I’m sure they love hearing that John
I want one!
You and me both LG. At the end I was cursing under my breath. I didn't think it could get better. Their system definitely has merit.
Great video as always Ron! I can’t help but call both of you TRAITORS! You should be stripped of your Toro cards 🤣. Very cool machine!
My opinion - at the very least, they need offer an option for a battery and charger for USA buyers. Then, some price parity with the UK market. About the equivalent of $3400USD (as of May 2022) there and that INCLUDES the 5aH battery and charger. That price point here would be a slam dunk.
Agree that at $3400 they wouldn't be able to keep them in stock Brian.
For the price they should include the 10ah battery and fast charger. My mower came with it and its my go to battery.
How long does a charge last and what is the life of a battery?
It runs for around 45 minutes depending on which cartridge you're using Randy. Not sure how long the battery lasts. I'd imagine it's a combination of temperature and how it's cycled.
I want one!! I have tons of EGO batteries. Are they currently for sale?
Yep. They're for sale Jerry. You can save $100 by using the discount code GCL100 at checkout.
What the run time?
Cost? Maintenance ?
Attachments cost?
About 45 minute runtime depending on the cartridge being used. I didn’t put pricing in because it’s subject to change and I didn’t want to date the video. Can get pricing on their website.
@@RonHenry I’m definitely intrigued, but kinda of expensive. But kinda like attachment swapping options. Great job. Have enjoyed watching you grow since you started.
Is that lawn bent grass or low cut Bermuda?
It’s low cut Bermuda Ken.
How many SF is the front lawn?
Around 1500 square feet JRS
GLC100 code still works for anyone wanting a stirling
Yep yep! Save a bit
What is the nearest Allett retailer to Atlanta?
Allett USA is in South Carolina. There's not a dealer in Atlanta.
Ron when would you ever scarify a bermuda lawn? Seems to be a controversial topic on some youtube channels- its use
I'm more a fan of verticutting Bermuda than scarifying it Jerry.
@@RonHenry Yep. I have verticut twice so far this year.
How long does a fully charged battery last?
Around 45 minutes oalabi.
Very interesting 🤔
Yep yep! It's pretty cool Bret
What is the highest setting
the first question i would have asked is why why choose a reel mower over a regular lawnmower.
Hi Rob. A reel mower allows you to mow shorter with less damage to the grass between mowings. If you goal is to get lawn that looks like a golf course or professional sports field, a reel mower is a great choice. They're really only for people that like and have time the to mow several times per week.
TOOO EXPENSIVE!!
How much is it
Not inexpensive Willie.
Shame it's over $5k if u want a battery and charger..... It's pretty insane honestly. Saw this on Petes channel a few days ago. My Swardman gas mower was only $3300. It's nice that it's a Ego system though.
I hear you Tim. It’s definitely an easier proposition if you already have other EGO devices.
Mother: Don't touch nothing in this store.
Me: @3:06
😂 I did have that "touching something in the store" approach huh?
Any word how this mower does on thicker zoysia?
Can't say from direct experience Nathan but it does have plenty of grunt. I can't imagine that you'd have problems mowing Zoysia with it.
@@RonHenry Thanks. I enjoy your videos. Wishing you continued success.
I need this
They are pretty sweet N Moran.
Where do you get it serviced and parts?
Can get the reel sharpened by reel works. Parts from Allett.
@@RonHenry Thanks
