The Hidden Kitchens of Buenos Aires | After Dark

- Опубликовано: 10 июл 2024
- In this episode of After Dark, we send Sydney chef Elvis Abrahanowicz-of Bodega and Porteño-to his hometown of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he investigates the city’s burgeoning scene of discrete kitchens. Elvis visits everyday Argentinians in their backyards, living rooms, and on their rooftops, where they set up shop and serve local food and booze to diners and drinkers. Like a dinner party but... every night. Very tranquilo.

The architecture looks amazing there
I was born there in 76:. I have visited about 3 times to see my relatives. I am thankful for videos like this to remind me where I came from...but also heartbreaking to not be there.
Buenos Aires looks lit!
it's ass
@@fultonfolper7236 it is
@@fultonfolper7236 why is it ass?
This is such a rich video. It is a literal Fabian Perez inspired montage of Buenos Aires eating and drinking and visiting and living life kind of story. Very well done. Good stuff.
More BA content please this is awesome
Great video!! Thanks for showing these places!

I will be visiting BA in 3 weeks. I hope to visit this place. Food looks delicious!
Richard hill how is it so far?
@@oliviaanderson1210 We and my friends had a wonderful time. I thought BA was amazing. We stayed in San Telmo, visited the market, ran into murals of Biggie , Tupac and ?Questlove lol. Went to the Hip Hop cultural center , loved it. People were always smiling, i met quite few Argentinians who studied in the US. I can go on and on.
@@oliviaanderson1210 I traveled with 5 of my friends who i have know since 8 years old. We are all turning 50 during 2019/ 2020. We were celebrating together. We did get quite a lot of stares and smiles, i just believe that to be because its rare that you would see 6 Black American men together in BA. lmaooo

Elvis said if you did close door restaurants in Sydney you would go to jail. LOL
Having lived in Sydney for 25 years i would rate it as one the most boring cities in the world. So pedestrian.
Everything is so controlled and predictable. Thanks Gladys. Thank
you couldn't do in the land down under, home bars too many bullshit regulations.
The angel of death eat in that country openly included adolf echamam and Martin Bormann
