FX for the win again !! I have two 40s on my true dual exhaust on my 1982 dodge d150 with mildly built 318 . it still has some drone and when you pass at Hwy speeds 65 and up the 40s sound like glass packs 😡. I'm going to switch over to the FX mufflers!😎🤘
I'm not a ford fan at all these mufflers sound alright though. I like how clean the flowmaster 40 series sounds. Not a fan of the fx setup, on the newer trucks the 40 series is really dull because of all the resonators and extra catalytic converters that the factory restricts the engines with.
I like the 40’s it’s a richer sound Ma d less clap!! I have 40 Series on my Silverado and it sounds awesome! If your worried about drone than you should keep your stock exhaust! I also added an S&B cold air intake and it sounds even better!!
Dude, you sound like Sam Lasco from trailer park Boys, lol. I like the flowfx better, it's like a quieter cherry bomb. The chambered mufflers have to much treble for me .
I have a 5.4 with headers and hi flow cats. Is that what's causing myufflers to cackle. I've tried flowmaster, magnaflow, carven. I had true duals too, so recently I switched back to a catback style. But it still doesn't sound how I want. Thinking of going back to a 40 series
@@codyparker679 i switched the true dual straight pipes into a y pipe single carven tr muffler and then ypipe back to duals. She sounds mean. Just a bit a crackle , no drone whatsoever, cold start up mean as he'll then it quiets right down . Pretty happy with it. The magnapacks I took off which were popping really bad, I put them on my 2007 ram hemi and they sound amazing ,very deep rumble, no pop or cackle at all. Crazy eh, same mufflers sound so different from one truck to another. Headers hi flow cats and straight pipes was the difference lol my 2017 ram has dual carven tr mufflers and sounds mean too.
@@codyparker679 i just uploaded some new videos to my page. I have 3 trucks all with magnaflow and carven exhaust and 2019 challenger with magnaflow, switching it to carven tr
You can never go wrong with the 40 series!

el compa tavo whyyyy straight pipe sounds terrible
The Flow master Flow FX is definitely Better 💪 Just got one for my
Ram 2500 4/4 Hemi

Wish you would do a before and after start up. Keep up the good work and be safe out there.
Spintech Super Pro Street 9000... a muffler recommendation. And awesome video input on exhaust 👍

Are the FX'S legal? I like those better for some strange reason.
Both sound great in the Tennessee rain
Go Vols
Wonder how the fx would sound with the 4.8 and a side pipe
Please do flowmaster super 10
2:15 - what was that thing that came out of the tailpipe?
chaseman94 piece of the pipe from when they cut the glasspack out
The Tritons balls

Headers crisp up the sound. It will add alittle cackle. Recommend the super 44 with rhat set up. Friend had it and it sounded mean

🧢🎓
You said 5.4l triton with such enthusiasm and it makes me laugh cause that's one of Fords shittiest motors
They are really good engines honeslty. Minor easy to fix issues. Got 230k no issues on mine
you don't know wtf you're talking about
