It's a beautiful thing to see the company adjusting a popular loved weapon so that our brothers and sisters who support the Second Amendment who live in places that have complete and utter morons running the show, can have these wonderful weapons. I think this is a beautiful thing.

Am I understanding this makes it "not a pistol grip"? Any AGs weigh in on this? I'm kinda doubting this would prevent prosecution...but I could be wrong.
It's just to make it inconvenient and uncomfortable to the point you don't want to own a semi auto weapon with a pistol grip. It brings no purpose to do this, but it makes anti-gun officials sleep better at night.
My problem is taking the paddle OFF. My KelTec came with the paddle on. 2 screws keep turning but do not come off. Could it be a manf. issue? Purchased just last month.
It's not a manufacturing issue. One of the screw is design to be "free-spinning" to prevent it from being taken out and thereby preventing the fin grip from being easily removed. The only way to remove that screw is to drill it out.
So the gun shop must have stripped the holes on mine. I can’t get one of the lower ones out that’s at the bottom of the grip where the magazine goes... or is that supposed to be that way?
@@TonyDSG my buddy informed me that fin grips are supposed to be non removable, but does that mean ever or easily? @@TheFrogfeeder It’s definitely removable just a pain in the ass. I’m trying right now by using extractor bits and it’s not working. I think my piece of junk black and decker drill is not up to the job.
Put pressure from the other side that has the screw already removed with something like a small allen key and it will prevent the threads inside from spinning while you unscrew the remaining side.
So, why would it be necessary? Suppose I have a normal Subbie in a restricted state. I'm already in violation. At best, the kit may allow me to come out of the closet. Do you live in California? No? Then you would NOT want to add this bullshit. Its legal loophole nonsense, to comply with California law that says rifles cannot have pistol grips.
Without researching, it looks like this is a work around to subvert "pistol grip" laws in certain communist states. That is the only reason I can think of. 🤔
