Hi Craig I use a Garmin watch for distances, thinking a scope would be quicker and more accurate with pin positions, the info I need is inside 100yds, I play a much more confident shot when know I have 65yds. To the pin👍, and find moving the pin position on my watch a bit of a faff plus never sure I’ve got it spot on🤔,if this range finder locks onto the pin quickly & I get a buss to let me know (it sounds ideal) didn’t know you needed to zoom in & focus first, Thanks for the review I’m a first time viewer, Dickey 9hcp 76year senior golfer
Just out of curiosity what is the difference between the l2 and more the expensive brands? I was going to get a garmin s62 but I think I might keep my old watch and get one of these aswell 👍
@nigelgrant2176 thanks for you reply, just one more question is it good in lower light conditions because it doesn't have the red and back optics like most
Hi Adam. The S62 is a great piece of kit with lovely graphics and all that but I always think its information I dont really need. With my watch and my Pro L2 I get all the info i need to get my distances for shots to greens and course management. I have not had any issues with the Pro L2 in low light conditions. Thanks for the comment.
Hey Craig, thanks for the info on this Shot Scope rangefinder. I have other Shot Scope products and have always been always been well pleased with them. I'm going to check out this rangefinder as I'm in need of a new one. I'll sign up for the membership to take advantage of the discount. Thanks again.
Hi Craig I use a Garmin watch for distances, and was thinking of using a scope, I mainly need it for distances under a 100yds, I hit a much more confident shot when I know I’m 65yds from the pin👍, and moving the pin around on my watch is a faff and time consuming, was thinking a scope would be quicker and more accurate, can I get a quick measurement with a buss to know I’ve locked onto the pin with the PRO L2, I didn’t know you needed to zoom in to focus on the pin🤔, Thanks Dickey 9hcp 76year senior golfer
Hi Dick, Thanks for the comment. Yes I use a watch as well but there are times with a blind shot for example where I cant see where the pin position is or like you say when im in my ideal lay up range between 100-120 yards I want a precise yardage.
They haven't gone anywhere Russell, went away to Europe working for 3 weeks and no comp this weekend. Also have some videos for the brand partners to get done.
I wouldn’t recommend this rangefinder. I ordered it on August 12. The product was in stock and their website states 3-6 days delivery. Tracking number has been provided to me, and still no delivery. It’s impossible to to get an update. Completely frustrated and disappointed
Sorry to hear that John, its worth the wait though, hopefully it will turn up soon. Sometimes this can be the fault of the courier rather than the brand
Agree. The likes of those brands are very good , just not worth the extra money. My Pro L2 does everything i need it to do so why pay more.. Also Shot Scope is a good brand, their whole product line is solid
