which is more forgiving in your opinion BLACK OPS or GEN 6 XP or P feel and forgiveness and distance ? its for a 59 year old that shoot off a 8-10 handicap I take very little divot if any at all my 7 iron swing speed is 77-81 mph I hit a high ball usually straight your thoughts are appreciated on which may suit me best and to get affirmation to what i am thinking I am unable to get fitted or hit any balls due to location so I must order online got fitted 3 years ago and still have all my specs thx cheers from Canada

this area of pennsylvania prob has 50 golf courses public/private that are almost as good or better than jeffersonville within 50 miles

I’ve ONLY watched your golf psychology videos in fact. 😊 We’re about the same age (53?) but I didn’t pick up the game until I was 27. There wasn’t any RUclips and golf tips back then… we just went out and played the game. I was single digit inside a year and fairly scratch inside 18 months. Growing the family and career ate up the past 24 years but with the last kid off to Uni and career well set, I’m back down to near scratch and competing in a national tour here in the States with solid play (4 wins in 6 events with a 4th and 2nd place too). All that to say this, equipment and swing mechanics only get you so far and in fact, obsessing on those things are what kept me stagnant at a 5-7 handicap up until about 6 months ago when I finally started diving into the mental and interpersonal side of the game and my scores dropped to where I am now able to shoot in the high 60’s with some regularity. So I say thank you for these vids and make more if you’re so inclined - I’ll definitely watch them and pass them around to my mates!

Craig- our club uses Wilson reduced flight balls-- that means not only is the ball flight reduced but because of the quality of the ball, the distance can vary dramatically. Our club, as I'm sure others do, refer to the practice tee as the :warm up" area- no an area for real practice or to be used in dialing in distances. If any club or course is using 'limited' balls just use the outcome of the practice session as __________________. Everything else you mention here is fantastic and spot on.

Keep it up! Can’t image a better way to show golf or the course. Imagine a major like the Masters shot this way, you miss out on so much of what else is going on with 2D tv cameras and it’s such a beautiful course. Try it with the new meta 3 VR headset, mind blowing, it’s like you’re right there. I’m trying to get it going here on the other side of the pond, is the future of golf.

Couldn't agree more. I don't have a regular game, but I do have a kind a sort of regular game. These guys aren't very good at all. They play fast and spend zero time looking for balls. Yet they get offended when I suggest letting a group play through if we get behind. I can't stand guys that don't repair their divots. Flat out irritating.

I think the psychologic secret to holing more putts is to putt like a kid. Give a kid a putter and a ball and turn them loose on the practice green. It won't take long before they start rolling it well and holing putts. Why? There's no outcome to whether they missed or made the putt. There's no scar tissue built up over years. No amount of tried this or that putting trick to read a putt and stroke the ball. There's no thought to any of it. That's the secret. For me once I cleared away all of the non-sense of doing this or that to read it. I started making putts again and lots of them. Now I judge my putts by how I rolled the ball and if I hit my line. The outcome doesn't matter. Some days we just don't read the green very well. But I can make sure I put a great stroke on the ball and hit my intended line. Just my 2 cents.

Does anyone know is the gen 7 p is a bigger club head size than the P770 as I currently think the p770 is a little too hard to hit for my skill level. I was thinking of the gen7 p but not sure between the XP variant. Looking for something with a head size of around the P790

I've had an SC400 for a little while now and so far I'm pretty disappointed. It seems very sensitive to how it's set up even with a tape measure. It also seems to read low with EVERY shot. I can see balls landing at 150 but it reads more like 130. I will say it is consistently low with every club so the repeatability is there, but no accuracy.

I am callaway user and chage to ping 430 10k. I hit the ball tend to force right and feels frustate on it.. Then i try to fitting the driver. The fitter reccomend me to change downgrade to 430 max with adjustable weight position combine with fujikura ventus TR 5R.. 10k is tend to right bias

Great driver . I would say the shaft is the determiner and loft of right or left. For me this driver is left . Which I love .. I hate right

I can't see any major signings for liv this year as there's too much uncertainty regarding the future. I still believe that there will be a massive shake up of golf ready for the 2026 season. I've said it before and will say it again, cooperation between liv and PGA. Liv will soley be a team competition with the most important PGA players getting a franchise or a share of one. The lesser liv players will go to the dp world tour and the PGA signature events will be a mix of PGA stars and liv stars. I can see the international series, the dp world tour and korn ferry tour being a feeder to the PGA tour which will be a feeder to the signature/liv events. It's the only way I can see everybody who's anybody being kept happy. The PGA tour has already reduced its tour cards down to 100 from 125, the dp world tour has 7 or 8 more years in its agreement with the PGA tour for its top 10 getting PGA tour cards. Liv has a big share in the international series and the korn ferry is too big to just throw it away.

I am debating between the PXG Gen 7 XP or the PXG Black Ops 5 - PW , GW other than the 520 canadian dollars difference in price I am still having a tough time choosing ( I know first world problems ) I am 59 and play with a 8 handicap arthritis and father time is catching up to me so i am looking for something forgiving and easy to hit and something for distance also your thoughts ? or anyone elses is welcomed thx cheers from Canada
