- Hack your Bible by putting paper and envelopes or pockets in your journaling Bible! These easy Bible journaling ideas will absolutely transform your Bible journaling and give you more space for notes or Bible art! This Bible pocket or envelope has been something I use daily in my Bible and I add so much paper to my Bible that it's just second nature to me!
There are two ways to add paper to your Bible that I talk about today and then I share how I make a really basic envelope. I hope all of this blesses you with creative bible journaling ideas that make you want to spend MORE time in the Word! I love this method because it doesn't seem frivolous and making Bible study a crafting party it's intended to actually hance your ability to understand and study scripture I usually use notebooks to take all my notes in but then I have to find the notebook later to reference if I want to remember what I was thinking or had discovered so I really like that I can put the notes directly in that area and I can put multiple different pages on there so that you know the next time I have a thought on that same passage I can add even more area to take notes. And then have to really consider this option
One of my FAVORITE things I bought years ago( they still have) is envelope “boards”( cutters) It’s like your paper cutters only has markings to fold the perfect size envelopes! So quick and accurate! I love it!
When cutting pages to tip/tape in, don't forget to round your outside corners. Consider getting a corner rounding cutter if you do a lot of paper play.
I have found that glue sticks work really well for tip-ins also!

I've found that construction paper works just as good as well, and is great for decorating your own pages❤

This is genius! I have been wanting to add the Greek Septuagint text to my old beloved Kirkbride Thompson Chain NKJV Bible since I learned that the dead sea scrolls are closer to the Septuagint, which has been heavily documented to have been used by Jesus firstly, the Jews, secondly, and Christians during and after the time of Jesus and the Samaritan Pentateuch compared to the Masaretic text of the old testament (which was doctored by the Jews to refute Jesus as the Messiah around 164 AD, and the oldest copy found is dated at 1085 AD, compared to the LXX dated at 250 BCE) in our Old Testament Bibles today and this seems like the perfect way to do it!

This is GENIUS! Also I’m a huge fan of the ESV Journaling Bible simple because the margins are bigger! But as a deep thinker, this helped cuz I’m always needing more room to jot down notes/revelations❤
I love tip-ins, I make folders from scrapbook paper or old planners I had laying around the house. I may try envelopes soon. Thanx for sharing.

Have you tried using a bone paper creaser for scoring and folding the pages? I learned that in book binding class. It makes perfectly flat creases.

When I tip in a page I put the glue on one side of the paper and then glue it to one page. That way I can add more pages if need be. One time I tipped in a page to the left page then tipped on to the right page. That way I can add a third page between them if I want (make sure you add glue to both sides of the tip in to bind them together unless you may want to add a fourth page or more.) 😁
Haha my back envelope has Faiths thank you note and empty envelope lol 🤣 (from stickers which by the way if you aren't getting them you so should they are way to cute)

How am I able to do this form of note taking ( I love this idea) when my Bible doesn’t have every other blank page. Because I really enjoy the Bible I use to study.
I don’t want to take away from any words. I have zero space for notes let alone to tape.

My Bible is not meant for journalling (it's a hardcover study Bible), but I think I would like to add some color to it... So instead of adding tabs to the pages in itself, add tip ins at the start of the books so that It would be decorative, as well as give me space to write?

Hey Faith!!!! so I don't have an interleaved bible, I have a journaling bible with HUGE margins, it's gettin kinda full, would you suggest a big margin bible or an interleaved bible? thanks! I love allllll you videos and come to your channel whenever I need inspiration!
Great question! I’d say interleaved! But, to be honest, I haven’t given wide margin Bibles much of a try!

I prefer hard for sure, but I just got my Bible rebound and so now it’s soft and it works!

**question!!. I was told today that I spend to much time reading God's word. And that God says we shouldn't, as we have other duties.. my family doesn't complain that I am slacking. But I enjoy reading the Bible and books.:( help
So we have to live our lives and interact with the world, but I definitely wouldn’t say “too much time” is really a thing when it comes to Bible study time! I think it comes down to you in your personal walk with the Lord! Something to pray about. Praying over you right now, that you’ll have wisdom in this area!
