Your Bible is awesome! I just have not found the right one yet.
I probably have at least 50 regular Bibles, but only one that is note-taking. Most of the Bibles are large print, which already creates a bigger Bible.😂
I wish there were better loose leaf ones.
Dearest Faith - You are not crazy -- I am 71 and my Bibles have always looked like this my granddaughter is 28 and when she was 11 -- she called my Bible, "gramma's coloring Bible" -- who knew I was doing it before it was marketable but no one else had one for sure. I am going through a hard trial and when I am tempted to worry, etc. God has given you to me by His Grace to watch you as the way of escape to dig back into His Word...love and prayers 🌷

I have so many tabs, sticky notes, scraps of paper taped in my Bible. I also have tape holding it together. This is just visuals of a well used bible. Love it♥️

Contradictions!!! Oooooh! You are spot on with the different points of view “argument”. When I was reading through Kings then started reading Chronicles it kind of “dawned” on me that they aren’t really contradictions. It helped me to think of it as my grandmother telling me a story about my mother & my mother telling me that same story, only to see the “discrepancies” in that story because it was told by 2 different people with their own view points. The basis of the story is the same with small differences in details depending on who is telling the story.
Exactly! If they were written the same, one could doubt their authenticity or presume that they copied off each other and didn’t experience it themselves. It’s interesting that God used weak humans with their own perspectives. Just like 2 people telling the same story (as you have mentioned), or two people in the same scenario, one will focus on different details than the other. But it does not necessarily mean that they perspective of what happened is wrong or a contradiction 😊 They focus on the same main points, so this ensures that the main points of the story have not been lost, as some think. The details aren’t as significant but the core of the story is 😄

yes ! likewise i’m 21 & it still motivates me at this age ! all the colors are attractive and the bulkyness shows it’s been used and READ is like weirdly comforting 😂
it reminds me of a thing in school we’d practice called “annotating” teachers would grade us on being interactive with the text and drawing meaning to our life and it always helped it stick more bc what you invest more time in, you place more value and ultimately end up remembering the material better and it resonating !

I love your choices for tabs. I would never have thought of it and simply used tabs for the names of each book. This is awesome! I really want a journaling bible (KJV), I can't afford one yet but in hope of getting one. I have a really nice kjv bible that my first ever God sent pastor recommended. Thompson Chain Reference bible and I just don't dare put anything on this bible. I gave my first one to my son. Thanks for making videos, they have been so very good to listen too. Thank you Jesus! Based on your previous video, I have started adding tabs to my Bible... I use the post-it flags in the various colors on the top of the Bible so it doesn't interfere with flipping through pages... each color represents a certain theological issue that I might need to have ready to discuss. Each color is lined up in a column so it's easy to find all of the flags in each theme. Really loving this. I'm so glad you shared this!!

Thank you. Yes, this video about your Bible tabs and notes was very inspiring. I like your style of Bible, so much so that I bought one on Amazon last weekend. I’m just waiting on it’s delivery. When the lady said that she wouldn’t like to have your Bible I too would have been hurt, but I just wanted to let you to know that I love your Bible. It’s creative and inspirational. With age I’ve learned, when someone puts us down with a hurtful comment, that in our head we need to say at the time repeatedly until we feel calm, ‘I love and approve of myself, I love and approve of myself, I love and approve of myself etc.’ We also need to remember, ‘If God is for me, who can be against me’ and later when we feel good within ourselves to pray for the person who upset us, as obviously they are either jealous, lack empathy or want to put us down for their own need to see us upset or react (as some personalities get a fix out of upsetting others and seeing them react). In answer to your question about if we want to have a video on contradictions in the Bible, I’d like to say yes : ) I’m a recent subscriber and I’ve been enjoying catching up and watching some of your older videos 🦋

Oh I love your Bible!! In fact if I saw you in person I would be wanted to flip through it and chat with you all day!! Mine looks very similar. I have been tapping it like this for about several years and it's so helpful! I love that yours has a blank page in-between each page. I'd like one, but I can't bring myself to transfer and let go of the one I use this way. It was the first non KJV I got and could really understand when I read by myself plus I've had it for over 20 years! I use much smaller tab in fact they are sticky notes I cut down and I underline the verse in xyz color and write the color as well as the topic on the tab and try to only use a xzy color once per page. I also line my tabs up on the outside in sections. Example say the topic in love, I can find all the love tabs on the lower right hand corner of my Bible. So it's make it easy if say some else picks it up they can see the pattern and make since of my crazy 🤪 I love you energy and tabs thanks for sharing!!

I Love this idea of adding tabs to help you find things, I usually put sticky notes in the back of my Bible, each sticky note has a theme / topic and I fill it up with verses and references so I can flip to the back and find the themes when I’m studying or talking/ Teaching. I had the same Bible for years from when I was a kid and I Loved it, sadly it literally fell apart from use, I just recently bought my first Bible with study margins on the side and have been taking notes and doodling and I love it. I took your inspiration and used some Washi Tape to make my first tab and I want to do it again, I believe it will be very helpful for me. Thank you so much for your channel, I’m so blessed to have found you, you inspire me to go deeper into Gods word, Also I love that I found someone else who shares my name. Thanks 📖 🤍

On the contradiction subject... I remember hearing a secular man, not sure if he was a policeman, or scholar... But, he believed the four Gospels to be trusted witness accounts due to the different ways each Gospel explains what happened.
I like your Bible. I write, highlight and post notes on my Bible. I use post it flags to mark different sections of my Bible. Don't worry about what anyone says.

I can relate to having a poor memory. I’ve had the same Bible for such a long time that I’ve looked into getting the same exact one off eBay or something as my backup when this one falls apart. Because I’m able to visualize where passages are located on the page, or how the page is set up by chapter breaks and all that. I think I would have a hard time starting with something new and being able to quickly find what I’m looking for easily.
I’ve been trying to make memorization more of a priority lately. I’ve found the the Bible memory app is a super useful tool with this. Makes it really quick and easy to review verses on a daily basis.

I'm no therapist, but I would be willing to bet that the woman who saw your Bible was hit with some guilt/jealousy that you're clearly in the Word daily. She was trying to make herself feel better by saying she would hate to have your Bible. You're an inspiration!
I love this video and I’ve been starting to realize why I was always told that the Bible explains things that science probably couldn’t at the time it was created. It may not be exact but it makes sense. Like what most of us were probably told that the world was at one point one large continent, well when the Tower of Babel is discussed it almost lines up with that theory and I find it interesting.

I have been watching several of your videos and love the inspiration you have given me. I had been just reading the One Year Bible for words and not studyiing it. I was convicted to get into the bible more in depth. I love all your little hints. The tabs you use are they laminated. They look like it. Can you tell me which ones you use. I know you use the punch but are there other ones you use? By the way with that tab punch you can make fold-over tabs instead of just that single tab by placing the folded edge just a little below the cutting line and there you go a folded tab.
