Don’t make your Bible an idol….I understand what you’re saying but just be careful about it. I have an HCSB Bible I really wanna get rebound. So sad they don’t make that translation anymore.
It is not an idol to her she wants to keep it so generations after her will have it to see how the Lord was with her throughout her life.
I totally understand. When I first became a Christian at 17, my grandmother bought me my first study bible. I loved and used it up that the binding fell apart. So I decided to get it rebound. And anxiety of sending it off was hard. My grandmother passed away 15 years a go. This bible had my grandmother hand writing in it. But I did and it came out beautifully.
How precious! I wish I could find the bible of my grandparents.

When my husband had his preaching Bible rebound they were able to add additional pages in the front & back. (I think he was most excited about that!)

I watched another video from another channel and the girl had a bible and she was just like you but then she said she felt like the lord was telling her she was too attached to that bible and not the lord that he told her to give it to someone else I can’t even imagine having to do that
I had an ESV bible i had for like two yrs and it was the first bible i had boughten myself.. i could spend up to six hours in the word daily and one day God lead me to give it to a homeless woman who was battling all these things and i was on the verge of crying the entire time, and i could feel my heart breaking to hand it over…so i feel you🥺🥹🤣

This is wonderful. I know that we will not be able to take possessions with us when we go home. However, Faith, I so hope that God allows you to bring it with you to present to him. Your love and faithfulness to him overwhelms my heart. The joy that you show as you study your Bible and take the notes that you take is so beautiful. Thank you for being an inspiration.

Am I missing something? I don’t understand . The Word of God is the Word of God it doesn’t matter the binding , the font, none of that changes the Word. All the talk of anxiety and being worried goes against what the Bible tells us… we are to read and do what the Word says not decorate it. I’m not saying this with a mean attitude,but rather a place of concern that possibly your love for the Word is being oddly wrapped up in a specific physical book and not the actual Word of God because His Word is not only powerful in that one specific print… the other copy you have is no less the Word than the huge note filled one or the one I’m looking at on my night stand right now.

Hey so this is probably really weird for this video but do you have any suggestions for teens. Books , how to now what we watch is quote on quote good. How to start and share the gospel at school. You have great videos by the way.
My mom has her grandma’s Bible and she never uses it because it’s spineless and falling apart. Good to know I can get it rebound (and have it look cute and like something she’ll want to read instead of just be the sad dusty family heirloom)! About 2 months ago, I found your videos because I saw something from Crew and Co about your Bible. I'm just now watching this video about the rebounding. So cool that they lead me to you!
My Bible the first 10 years of my faith I was like this. I was so anxious when it was out of my sight and my friends would try to hide it from time to time. Sadly I backslid, and when I came back to my first love I bought a new Bible. Now days I rotate Bibles often because I felt so dependent on it and I don't want that feeling again. But this video really brought me back to those days.

If i were you, never would take your precious Bible outdoor. ❤I would take an other one and complete the study from outdoors in the ❤Bible. (And read the notes) or copy the notes to take with me.

And put the Bible book names tabs into my Bible, an Interline Bible, an OT Commentary and Basis of the Bible book. So its easier for me to find for study.❤

I mailed my Bible to crew and co last Monday, I’m so excited to get it back. It was a Christmas gift from my sister, it had a smooth hard cover and my hands are bad and I could not grip it,then I saw your video so I splurged and am getting it covered.
How often do you get your bible rebound? I finally figured out how to put my notes in my Bible in a way that is easier to still read around them, but my Bible is starting to buldge, which 1) I love, but 2) won't last long! Lol! Your 'before' pic already looks much wider than a typical Bible! Have you done it before?

Faith, I have questions!!!! Since we are 6 months out...
1. How thick is your bible right now (in inches)?
2. How has the rebinding held up?
3. Would you still suggest using Crew & Co?
4. I know this is personal and I hate to ask - but can you tell me what a rebind of a bible that size ran (ballpark). I can supply a private avenue if you'd rather.
I ask these questions because I have a Bible that will need rebound sooner rather than later. It's a monster of a Bible. I have been gluing in pages to make my own interleaved and it was already over 2500 pages new. (It's a super giant print.. so imagine about 15 verses per page). I'm hoping to ifnd somewhere that will rebind and help me pick the best types of cover, etc.

I had no problem that you cut up the Bible. I don’t worship my Bible like an idol, but I do honor the Words from God’s Mouth. His Words should be in our hearts where we can use them. I don’t carry my Book everywhere. When the Lord said to not add or subtract from His Word…it’s literally His Words…not paper. To add or subtract would be if I was talking to say a non believer and told them about salvation…leaving out the part about repentance and then just saying you heard me…now you are saved. In doing that, I would have subtracted from His Word. If in another scenario as I explained salvation to a non believer, I added that there are many ways to salvation without committing their life to Jesus…then I will have added to the Words of God. It has nothing to do with cutting up a Bible…but everything to do with how we use His Words. We need to remember that the “books” of the Bible were initially not solid together…they were parchments and or scrolls…bits and pieces. People learned by hearing and not reading. A lot of people were illiterate. So, we need to chill. We just need to get God’s Word into our very being with the help of the Holy Spirit.
How long do you think it will take before you have to do it again to accommodate all the new stuff you're going to add?
I would love to know which Christian books you like; I like several different types- some self help books,some just stories about them. Christian but not true. Thank you

I’m trying to turn my Message Bible into an interleaved Bible. I think I messed it up (too much glue) and doing it all one handed. Lol I live in Oklahoma. How can I find a bible rebinder I can afford?
I have a hard cover message Bible. I’m trying to add pages but it’s hard with one hand. How can I get the Bible turned to soft cover? And get the added pages?

How is your Bible holding up. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get mine rebound, also because I have the triangular, won't close Bible. Did they have to do something special with all your flip out pages? I have extra fold out pages at the front of each book with timelines/maps, etc. and am not sure how they deal with those.
It's more than a Bible. It's a documented progression of the most profound love relationship ever!. I would love to know how many inches of spine width there are!

Well I looked you 2 up and see you are Presbyterian. I shall always be grateful that you guys have Union Presbyterian Seminary located here in Richmond, VA. I made heavy use of it, when I moved here to begin as an Assistant Pastor in 1972! Seeing todays video, I cannot imagine what shape Faith is in every Christmas as she gets presents.
