Despite Max winning 10 of the 15 races this year so far, he's done it in a car that's only been able to win 5 pole positions. So if you're going to compare Max's car with Lewis's cars in their most dominant eras, you're delusional. When Lewis won 11 out of 17 races in 2020, or when Mercedes won 16 out of 19 races in 2015, they qualified nearly 1 second a lap faster than their opponents at each weekend, and won nearly every single pole position. The fact that Max and RB have been able to eek out that many wins with such a smaller margin of speed (oftenly not even the fastest car), is top notch stuff. They run like a very well trained symphony in harmony, stark contrast to Ferrari who have a faster car, but poor strategy, and poor execution

Setting consistent lap times is how you win a race. That is something he has learned from Schumi and Senna. Russell was unable to keep consistent lap times where they were all over the place compared to Max lapping 1:13.9's for almost the rest of the entire race. There were a few instances it dipped into the 1:14's and at the end 1:15.'s.
Hamilton should have pitted in for the softs like Russell. This is on him and the team. If he wanted a chance he should have pitted with Russell for the softs like Verstappen did. He's not going to defend on the mediums with a car like the Red Bull even if he had Russell to defend with. Max has shown he can make quick work of people and he's as hard to defend against like Schumacher and Senna. Russell made the right call going onto the softs. He just didn't have the pace to lap consistently in the same window as Max which is why he lost the race. Hamilton defeated himself. He made the same mistake he made at Abu Dhabi thinking he could hold Max off with hards which is where his own arrogance got the best of him. You're NOT going to win many races with that kind of attitude which is one reason I dislike Hamilton, because he's as arrogant as Jacques Villeneuve was when he was at Williams.

My heart sank for Carlos at the pit stop and I legit couldn't close my jaw when Russel overtook Hamilton (and his reaction). Both unexpected but def made this race more interesting.

Max has now 10 racewins in 2022. Same amount as the whole 2021 season. There are 7 races left. I think he is going to break another record. He is on beastmode this year. What a driver.
