Lloyd I love your Bible study. I know you don't believe but hearing truth from the scriptures are very much refreshing.
Even if there was a Governing Body comprised of the twelve Apostles and older men in Jerusalem in the 1st century CE, that still doesn't mean that the theological claims of Christianity are true.
Is near one speech with the message that the governing body is the very god...
So which is it : The Bible is God’s word and all someone needs to unlock the mystery of a good relationship with the Almighty, or : The leaders in the organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses are appointed by God to interpret the Bible and apply and enforce compliance with their conclusions, even if they get it wrong.
To be a Jehovah’s Witness you really have to say ‘both’.
That’s a problem for so many on lots of levels.

Splane sort of creeps me out, there is something wrong with his body language and micro expressions, really cold. I think some of them really are true believers, but I feel like there is something off about him.

Yes, lets not forget that the actual issue here in Acts 15. The genital mutilation of men and boys as prescribed by a collection of "not really leaders". Not by any goD, but other people.

“Us” is the Bible writers the Apostles,
The governing. Body are not the Bible writers,!

I don't think that "THE BOOK OF ACTS" is historically reliable, but I doubt there was universal agreement over doctrine or ritual within the early Christian communities.

None, there is no such thing as true religion. All religions are man made. Jesus is the way, the truth and the light.
No need. It's all a human construct to explain the unexplainable. Religion as we know it has just evolved from earlier religions such as sun and moon worship.
Beroean Picket channel on here might be a good start. He left after being raised a Witness and serving as an elder for many years. There is a Sunday meeting on his website also. Just saying in case your disillusioned with the witnesses but want to hang onto your faith in Jehovah.
@@user-vo4wc2jz8g it certainly looks like a human construct, I totally agree with you. It appears that to a few billion people on this planet it isn't. As long as people are scared of death, ceasing to exist and indoctrination I'm afraid it isn't going away anytime soon. People can believe whatever nonsense they want its when its forced on other people I feel is wrong and when people say they have God on their side. I think proving that God exists first is needed before one starts to say God is on their side.
