Lindsay Ellis Hey Lindsay. I’ve saw a few of your vids. (Brats was my favorite) I’ve known channel awesome since 2008. Shocking to see The way Doug acted. Glad to see you are doing well. It was very brave of you to come out about channel awesome.
Whoa. As a fifteen year old who basically had a shrine to the Nostalgia Critic (i'm kidding), seeing this is genuinely heartbreaking and to see the the level of ego and narcissism from Doug, Rob, and especially mike who up until this point I dint even know who he was its saddening to see that this went on behind the scenes. Sorry that you received that type of abuse from Doug, abuse that is basically indefensible is one again heartbreaking. I'm sounding like a broken record, and as a former fan as of today I dont know what to say. Keep up the good work by the way. : )
I caught that livestream with contrapoints where you mentioned that you'd never work with him again. I kind of thought that doug might be a bit amateur, given I'd watched some of those anniversary movies when I was a teenager. But holy shit when I read through that google document I cringed so hard it was unbelievable.
So what you're saying is, the Nostalgia Critic, a channel based on re-examining things you loved when you were younger and finding out that they were actually terrible....turned out to be a thing you loved when you were younger but, on later re-examination, was actually terrible? *Ironic*
Even before this whole debacle, I tried to go back to old reviews and my god, I wanted to rip my eyes out. How did we ever tolerate that amount of cringe? It's a shame, I feel like Malcolm and Tamara are quite good at their job, but anything that comes out of Doug's mouth is just painful. I don't know how he manages to cram all that pretentiousness into every single word he speaks.
Honestly, I used to enjoy watching the Nostalgia Critic videos, especially The Room video. Around at some point around 2016, the show began to feel not as good, but there were still some upsides. However, ever since the Deadpool 2 “review”, I stopped watching the Nostalgia Critic. Doug seemed to no longer care about what he used to be. To be fair, though, looking back at most of his videos, including the Sailor Moon and Ernest Saves Christmas reviews, Doug’s content hasn’t seemed to age that well.
@Zalkat Almosen You have to remember that RUclips was a very barren place in terms of consistent content with a budget in the early years. AVGN was the definitely the more talented of the two “angry reviewers” but movies are more accessible to the average viewer than video games. And pushing the nostalgia angle was a big draw. I think there is a slight charm to it to see how far we’ve come but the allegations have pretty much put me off watching anything made by Doug ever again.
Can't decide if they were the idiot for turning you down or if _you_ were the idiot, however temporarily, for seeking them out. Either way, if you had been a part, that would've made _four_ former CA personalities that came out as trans after leaving.
"we're sorry you felt that way" is literally the worst apology. keep in mind there are serious allegations in here and that's the best they could manage.
Apologizing requires an admittance of guilt, which they refuse to admit. "Sorry you felt that way" really means "sorry you felt that way, but that's on you because your allegations aren't legitimate". Lol
They didn’t fire him for the rape joke, they fired him for the fit he threw after somebody called him out for it. And strictly speaking, they didn’t fire him; he quit.
..right in the fucking childhood all of this ..the righfully deserved outragye the long steming realisatio9n that nostalgia critic is not fucking funny it actually hurts like i mkiss being a teenager finding his that guy with the glases persona edgy ..life moves to fucking fast
Mo He had more influence than he ever let on. He never treated other's characters with respect in any of the anniversary movies, making them act the way he wanted as opposed to what was in character for them. He also steered towards company positions that helped himself at the expense of other producers without talking to them about it. He actively enabled Michaud's bullying of Obscurus Lupa. He's not innocent.
And according to the document, Doug and Rob were constantly at each other's throats. Content creators would just sit around waiting for their scenes with no real scheduled planning. It was super hot in Doug's basement, and this was all time they weren't getting paid for. I really would have hated to be involved in it in any way.
my highschool class made shitty movies that ran for about two hours, it took almost the whole year to get them done. thinking about the comparison of a year for two hours, to a week for four hours actually hurts my head.
This actually reminds me of a "college" film I made. It involved a kid who starts encountering Monty Python references everywhere, and at the end of it, he committed suicide to no longer hear it. It was horrible, but I had fun with the production because it was ridiculous.
Well, there was that parodic film about the production of The Room a few years back. It’s not totally out of the question to get something similar about TGWTG.
big ups to Lindsey for walking when she did...her content now is leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else who ever contributed to TGWTG. I've always liked her stuff, but her analysis is hilarious and insightful af
@@1234q-q8x Phelous is also doing well. (Or at least if he's not doing well, he does a phenomenal job at hiding it.) He and Linkara have been possibly the most humble people to come out of the misery factory that was Channel Awesome.
Two facts you need to know if you ever do a follow up: Doug Walker was banned from YT after AVGN fanboys thought his war against James was real and flagged him for harassment, and Blip didn't exist when TGWTG began, they hosted videos on Revver, who shut down owing them over $50,000. They also hosted videos on another video site before Blip.
Back in 2010 I used to love everything that Doug Walker churned out, even those horrible anniversary movies. I also hoped to one day be part of the channel awesome crew and hang out with everyone of them, and finally meet my hero Doug. It feels bizarre to now see all of this come out in the open, and somehow I'm not even that surprised. But I still feel... weird. To see all the horrible things that went on behind the scenes of an entertainment website that I used to love so dearly. I wonder if Doug is going to make a video on this.
I don't think he ever will. Doug's built up a popular brand that regularly gets high view counts over years of work that shaped the very reviewer landscape over the internet and if he speaks out then the guys in charge will just take that brand from him. Sure, he could go into another format for reviews and start over, but that didn't turn out so well with Demo Reel.... It's not something people like to hear, but very few people can just let that much success go and take that huge of a risk for other people when they, themself, are in a good place with their own work. If I was in that position, I wouldn't speak up, either, and I think the same would go for most people out there as well. It's legitimately hard to work for that long to get to a good place only to give it up to please other people.
I too have watched him for a couple of years, and his reviews have cheered me up whenever I have felt down. Now I'm not so sure what to feel.. I just hope to support those who were affected by CA's gross management.
I just have to say that I know how you feel with the not being surprised. Like, you dont expect this, you expect maybe a falling out, but when hearing that it is so much worse, its like... yeah, that makes sense.
I like that Lindsay Ellis left because her content is much more expansive now. Being limited to just female nostalgia was a waste of great insight and analytical capabilities.
I'm not even the biggest fan of her in general but I can still recognize her videos are far superior in general. I liked her Pirates of the Carribean essay.
I'd agree apart from the fact she's chosen to accept Amber Heard's accusations as gospel. I know listen and believe is a thing but I won't take anyone accusing their ex without proof this is not bias I thought Zoe Quinn's ex was bang out if order too.
Nostalgia Critic seriously would pull the "I gave you exposure!!!" card on movies that are much, much, MUCH bigger than his brand would ever be? Are you kidding me?
im a year late, but pretty sure that part was actually a partial parody reference of that 'LEAVE BRITTANY ALLONE!!!" viral video made by a crazy Brittany spears fan over a decade ago. Even puts on a wig that looks like the psychotic fan in question.
I remember liking his movie reviews as a kid. Might be the fact that he plays the more important scenes and always, ALWAYS spoils the ending. Meaning if you didn't wanna pay to see the movie it was a cheap alternative
@@MentalLiberation Maybe. I just remember Aintitcoolnews listed The Room as one of the worst movies of the 2000s back during 2009. Yeah. Before Doug. Before James Rolfe and RLM, Harry Knowles was probably the first mainstreamish internet celebrity.
So full disclaimer, the video quality in this one looks terrible. I really rushed the set-up for the camera on this one, and in the end to get the shot I wanted I just zoomed in the video a lot. Either way, in the next few months I could see buying a new camera if it proves to be financially possible. Thanks for watching!
So glad that creators like Lindsay Ellis and Todd in the shadows are still well known content creators who do their own thing and continue to create media that is unique to their brand but also is removed from the niche that Doug created for them. I love both creators and their content and hope they continue creating reviews for years to come!!!
That review of Pink Floyd’s The Wall movie from NC sealed the deal for me that I will never watch him again. But this adds an extra layer of shit on the cake.
There was a strange amount of irony in that review, with Doug Walker complaining about the movie being too pretentious and egotistical...When in real life, Doug has gone through a similar downward spiral that is experienced through the movie. In terms of attitude, I always thought Doug to be the Roger Waters of the online movie critic world...so it was kinda surreal to see him in costume for the 'In the Flesh' scene...and not in a good way. 🤣
Victoria 46 Its even more ironic when you consider the movie is about a burned out has been that chases off everyone close to him, drives his entire career into the ground, and still has to carry on as a shadow of his former self.
I've been watching the Nostalgia Critic for years and to know that this wholesome man, Doug Walker, is part of this grand scheme of betrayal, inner conflict, and scamming makes me die inside. 14 year old me laughing at NC videos has been crushed to death. If only things were different.
I know exactly how you feel. I found his videos to be hilarious, but I had to unsubscribe and stop watching his videos because of this controversy. I just can't support this kind of incompetence and mismanagement.
I have to remind myself to separate a creator from their creation. Maybe I love a song, but the singer has done bad thing or just expressed views and committed actions that I disagree with, in that scenario I must mentally separate the two. It's okay to still love the song and enjoy what the lyrics meant to me. The biggest and hardest part is to learn to stop "checking up" on the creator; they are not what I love. They are not their work or the thing that meant so much to me. My feeling on the creator on the person can be different than my feeling about their work. If a creator does something I do not agree with, I do not buy anything new from them. I don't wish to support that person. Yet I also make a point of not forcing myself to give up their creation. I regard it and its meaning to me in the same state in my mind as when I first enjoyed it. Not even the creator has the right to take away something I love and all the experiences it has given me.
"We're sorry you felt that way" was enough to get me to just up and leave, unsubscribe, just be done, etc.I see new reviews and videos posted. I quite enjoyed the Nostalgia Critic thing and thought many of the reviews were good, but I just can't do it anymore. Not with so many other options out there.
That joke rape scene from To Boldly Flee made me lose a great deal of respect for Doug. Not only it's in incredibly poor taste, the fact that he coerced Linkara into taking part of it, someone who's super critical of the way rape is portrayed in media, is really fucking scummy.
@@potlach001 Knowing how much LInkara isn't fond of Lightbringer, it would only add even more reasons of why he isn't fond of the topic: maybe he used it wrong in the past and had found it so distasteful even since then.
@@lsebastian9086 Considering his current stance on it and how he hates when Lightbringer is brought up; I think it's safe to say that it's an old shame and he knows it.
“Lindsay Ellis reviewed girly media from Doug Walker’s childhood.” 😂 I love how you said this. So glad Lindsay has long ago now broken free of Doug and Rob and Michaud and now outshines them with her by far superior content.
@@ClaudetteVioletta It kind of made sense though. Doug reviewed boy’s shows from the 80s like Transformers and she’d review My Little Pony and similar stuff instead. One of her best pieces from them was on Daria, where she mostly talked about Feminism and how it’s reflected in the show. She was trying to shine even back then, but was restricted to Doug’s nostalgia
Shingo Sawatari/HGX there wasnt much evidence besides the layers they contacted and there was another one but besides that they just screenshotted the not so awesome document to try and support their answer. But if you have proper evidence that supports what you have said then yes it is fine to do so
Shingo Sawatari/HGX even with their new responce aside, their 'appoligy' kind of put them in a bad position. I really wanted to support Doug since he was one of my big inspirations to create content. But after what has happened, I am just dissapointed in their actions. Thank god I still have YMS, IHE and ralphthemoviemaker to thank for being my inspirations
the fact remains that Doug and Rob have done nothing wrong. nothing good has come from this "change the channel" nonsense. all that's happened is a bunch of disgruntled former employees have gotten a bunch of people angry at the wrong people. instead of listening to a bunch of people who want revenge, it makes more sense to listen to the people who work there NOW, like walter, Malcom, and tamara. all of whom are having the worst week of their lives because of stuff that allegedly happened years ago. people want channel awesome to just bend over and apologize, and won't even give them the chance to defend themselves and tell their side of the story. they're automatically the bad guys. in the end, none of this is anyone's business except the people involved. anyone in the comments acting like they're entitled to an apology, I only have this to say: you should be ashamed of yourselves.
I find these Fallen Titans videos so fascinating because they really are short, modern history lessons. People forget quickly, especially on the internet and since I doubt the History Channel will ever bring up internet phenomena like this, I think there is a very big value in cataloging the happenings on the internet for the future like this. Because memories and knowledge fades, which is why historical science even exists. So Fallen Titans, and things like Down the Rabbit Hole are really sort of preparing for the future. Who knows, maybe in 50 years, internet history will be just as mainstream and accepted as classic history and so these kinds of videos are very important.
The internet is part of entertainment, there will probably be catalogs for this the same way there is catalogs for the music, film, and even comic book industry.
Honestly I jumped ship after they decided to start reviewing movies, by not using ANY footage, just pretending to be them ( so after 2015 I believe), still subbed to them just as a time capsule thing, nowadays, I usually just stick to Linkara, Phelous, and Todd, with a mild zest of Snob
My big drop off was the Phantom of the Opera review. It was so bad that it was like it shattered the faerie glamour he must have put on me. And then Change the Channel happened. And then the Wall happened. And now the best I can do is occasionally dredge up a couple of positive memories of his work.
is anybody else kind of numb to information like this now? Like, channel awesome was a huge part of my life for years, I watched almost all the creators on there. Learning about this should have been heartbreaking, but all I can feel is "Eh, disappointing but not surprising" Great vid
Jarred2200 There are people who have inside information on Rooster Teeth and aren't allowed to discuss it, but they say they treat their workers badly.
Frank I haven't gotten "angry" about, like, the past five+ scandals. It's probably outrage fatigue, like Alex said. I'm hard to rile up in general anyway
It feels like the majority of large creators are hiding or doing scummy things, it feels like nothing new. It just makes me appreciate creators who truly are nice and outstanding people much more.
I'm glad critics like Todd and Lindsay were able to walk away from #ChangeTheChannel unscathed ('nam flashbacks notwithstanding). The whole thing sounds like a nightmare.
Lewis Lovhaug (Linkara) is the one that I think managed to walk out of there looking the best and brightest. The guy stuck around in a legitimate attempt to salvage channel awesome as best he could and judging by his inputs to both the google doc as well as his anecdotes about the issue on Twitter (which Lindsay all but confirmed were true), he basically became Channel Awesome's one-man HR department and councilor. He did his best to keep people in the loop when things were being planned, helped keep people's tempers from blowing up too much, and extended invitations when and where he could so everyone stayed involved. The fact that his channel announced an audio drama that is basically what the anniversary movies were but with pretty much everyone involved being excited for it tells me he should have been the one calling the shots for Channel Awesome because he actually freaking cares about the people he works with.
Spencer McClure can you explain this audio drama? I’m not familiar w/ linkara’s stuff beyond the change the channel stuff and him being linked with spoony
I'm incredibly disappointed I learned that from Rick and Morty. The "Froopy land" one I think, where Rick and Beth's horrible toxic personalities clash and they throw that at each other. I would've never seen the manipulative shit behind that saying if not for seeing it there.
@@pyraffin Yup, I have never seen that show. But yeah, it sounds »nice« to an unsuspecting audience. But the narcissist basically says: »It's all in your head. Now, stop complaining and do as I say (again). I said the word sorry. That should be enough for you, slave.«
It was a company when it benefited them and "just a group of fun loving dudes" when it benefited them. Kinda like kotaku claiming to be journalists and then bloggers when called out for shit journalism; no responsibilty.
Or “Shut Up and Talk”, where Doug would interview the other content creators out of their characters. In retrospect, it seems like the other content creators had to participate, or else.
They were never employed in the first place, they were not even contractors... Yeah, that's nasty. And the leadership was massive dicks with egos. Though, in that particular case, the call was about telling her she was fired, they wanted to tell her before they announced it.
Last horse crossing the finish line here but it should be noted that not only does Mike Michaud own the intellectual property rights to the Nostalgia Critic character, he's also the majority shareholder in the company. So they literally CAN'T get rid of him even if they wanted to. Which just shows how hilariously incompetent the Walker brothers are when it comes to business.
@@nathanclark2424 I'm certain if you tried that, he either will just say "No Sale" or give a truly ludicrous offer of $x00M for the brand name, because despite this entire CtC controversy, the Nostalgia Critic name is still making money off newbies who came in after CtC ran its course. He'll either get rich off the name or off the people trying to buy the name.
Doug Walker could also literally just, walk away, though. Do what Ellis did and become the Nostalgia Cricket or whatever. Nobody would really care, and he'd recover his fanbase pretty quick. Doug Walker has an estimated net worth of $1.8 million. He could easily walk away. He just likes the money, and probably likes Mike.
I used to love Nostalgia Critic, but then I found out about all the harassment stuff and it made me really uncomfortable. I was really excited when I found out Lindsay Ellis has her own channel now, i always enjoyed her reviews and she seems way more comfortable now
Hey Quinton, I was just wondering: are you planning to talk about Onision as part of your Fallen Titans series? I remember years ago, I actually tried to follow all that wretched drama that unfolded on his channel, and I still don't completely understand what happened. It'd be great to have a fresh perspective on what happened to one of the most bizarre RUclips stars I've ever seen...it'd give me some closure on that strange chapter in my life.
The 2nd anniversary movie is like one giant prediction of the future: Doug leads all these other contributors on with the promise of their own empire with him at the head, then once it's established he grows too arrogant and incompetent for it to continue, so all of his former underlings revolt and destroy said empire for their own sakes.
Except I'm not sure Doug Walker himself was resposible for the downfall of Channel Awesome. More like he's just another victim, except he's too profitable to be left in peace.
Yeah, I agree. It's not like Doug even has any opportunities anymore to get out. This character that he has made and loves, is now owned by a separate person, and he now can't get out of this terrible place where practically none of his original friends and content creators remain. He is stuck in this shambling place basically in his lonesome. I can't really see why you need to blame him.
Watching these videos has ruined the old Nostalgia Critic reviews. I can no longer watch him with the same childlike innocence I used to. All I'm going to see is the Douchebagery behind everything
I get the feeling, but if you are going to limit yourself to creators who have never done anything terrible, John Lennon, Elvis, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, van Gogh, Hemingway etc. are all off the table. Pretty much anyone before 1975 was probably racist. Pretty much every man before 1960 was sexist. Just try an ignore that part, and enjoy the art.
Given the content of Lindsay's latest video, the Linkara rape scene is even more heinous and intolerable. I cannot fucking BELIEVE that no one called Doug on his shit.
Lynn D. I’d still love to be friends and hang out with people who used to be on the site... I just don’t want to have anything to do with the site itself.
@@sozaj I have a bad feeling I'll listening to a lengthy video about whatever's going on with him too. And I'll probably regret that decision just as much. Curiosity killed the cat and all, right?
I know what you mean. I've been following NC casually for a few years now and not once did I see these videos on my suggestions until now. The only controversy I heard at the time was about AngryJoe trying to get NC taken down. This is a shame because I've been binge-watching his stuff again and I currently have two tabs open to his It videos. NC will be up there with Jesse Cox on my list of people/channels never to watch again.
This confirms to me that Doug has completely mismanaged his career. The guy was a pioneer in internet content, he should have his own channel with 2M+ subs minimum and dipped his toes in some movies. He didn't need dozens of irrelevant creators similar to him. At most 2 or 3 people helping his stuff run. James Rolfe has done exactly that and with virtually 0 controversy.
Definitely mismanaged. The smartest thing he did with Nostalgia critic was not tying it to movies from his childhood (I mean that was a limited market that only becomes increasingly more limited as time goes on). Doug has tried various other projects and stuff but most of them have not really worked out well. Which is fair, success is paved with failure, but honestly it would have been better if he was a bit more conservative with his business. Then again I don't know all the behind-the-scene details that happened with him so who knows.
Adrian Nelson In a way yes The Archfiend made a great point about it in his Avgn cheetah men fundraiser vid it’s 8 minuets and brings up very good points.
Well the only controversy I know he got into was the whole Ghostbusters 2016 thing, where a pack of idiots called him sexist for not wanting to see the movie.
Todd's cool but Rap Critic should probably retire at this point. If his shtick is going to be reviewing hip-hop, he really needs to be open to the people and ideas that are pushing the genre forward.
I still watch Todd's videos whenever they come out; his One Hit Wonderland series in particular is very well done. Rap Critic was the channel that first got me into hip hop way back in 2014, and I was a huge fan of his videos for a while-- I even got to meet him at a Run The Jewels concert. At this point, though, I can't watch his videos. He's become extremely close-minded and seems to shit on anything that doesn't adhere to his very strict qualifications of what makes for good hip hop. I'd also note that Kyle Kallgren's content since leaving the site is stellar. I'd definitely list him as one of my favorite RUclipsrs.
Matthew Forbes Most of the people he shits on tend to lack the lyrical ability. You may call that pushing the genre forward, but that's a big part of hip hop. You can still work in the style of many of the mumble rappers while still being very lyrical and many young emcees prove that and I don't see him not being open to their ideas.
Suede Component I'm not even talking about the mumble rappers (much as I hate to use that term); the dude said he hated Daytona by Pusha T and loved Revival by Eminem. The dude's tastes are so nitpicky, especially when it comes to lyrics, that most of his recommendations are worthless.
He’s one of the people a character would tell you to perform a hit on and he wouldn’t get a dedicated cutscene or background. You just walk to him, cap him, and mission completed.
@Gzus Kreist He literally owns the capital from which production is made, the rights to Nostalgia Critic as a brand, character, and show, then sits around all day reaping the profits off of that production while barely doing anything himself. That is capitalism.
@Gzus Kreist first off damn I didn’t know I got this many likes and never got notifications lol, but secondly I haven’t been to university and I in fact used to say cringe stuff like you did but as it turns out...the state wants people to be pro capitalism (for their supported companies) but never anti capitalist. But you won’t see that because you’re stuck in an echochamber of anti maskers and anti communists who think liberals are wanting to destroy capitalism like...god I wish your delusion was true about us owning universities and states because capitalism is trash. Also...UNIVERSITIES ARE MOSTLY PRIVATE, NOT STATE RUN, imbecile.
The people responding to the meat of this story with "politics, lol!" or "drama, lol!" when it's a legitimate story of horrific workplace abuse and straight-up abuse-abuse, man, I hope they're just trolling. I really hope that they're not that legitimately sociopathic and actually care about the human suffering behind their light entertainment and I REALLY hope that they don't think that this is an okay way to treat employees/co-workers/sentient beings. Holy shit.
The Cheetahman 2 incident is the first thing that springs to mind. Mike didn't handle the criticism regarding that whole scam very well. Although, that was nothing new even then though. He would frequently engage the trolls sometimes while using the AVGN RUclips account especially if they mentioned Chris Bores a.k.a The Irate Gamer way back in the day.
For real! They've got their own channels and content now, you can totally reach out and do something with 'em if you'd like. Just because Doug's a total sleaze doesn't necessarily mean that they are. In the words of Shia LaBoeuf: JUST DO IT!
Ted Comet using your logic, because you’re less relevant than Quinton that some how voids your comment? If a morbidly obese guy calls an obese guy fat does that mean the obese guy isn’t fat?
Hey Quinton, you should make a counterpart to the series. Maybe a series about how RUclipsrs who have been here since the beginning have managed to stay relevant throughout, like Philip DeFranco and Cinemassacre.
I'm pretty sure Lisa wasn't knocked unconscious from dehydration but because she was apparently attached to a wall by duct tape which caused poor circulation. Not much better.
One thing I'll say about the crossover movies is that they really, REALLY stink of Doug Walker. The writing, the directing, the editing, sense of humor, timing... everything is exactly what Doug Walker does. And that is why they don't really work as well as they could. They lack the creative freedom for other people and are basically glorified Nostalgia Critic skits. With that and all the other stuff, it seems like he is truly just someone who can only see his point of view and refuses to change anything because it's not what he wants. The movie where he becomes a dictator is probably the closest to reality out of their movies.
I remember hearing someone say that when you're the director of a movie, and I would argue in any creative pursuit that involves the contribution of multiple people, you're lucky if you get 80% of your original vision onscreen. I think someone needs to tell Doug that because he genuinely seems to think only the director matters. Come to think of it, that also would explain him calling out the directors by name and blaming them specifically if a movie is bad... does he think this is just how the industry works?
The scripts were basically "this is what Doug and Rob think your character is, here are the one or two traits that you're allowed to have" with an added "Critic is the smartest and funniest person and always gets the last word in"
Well, i guess, my sense of humor is stinks cause i find them funny when watch them for the first time. It's just some filling of growns up childness that makes me like them. At least the first one. I never watch To Boldly Flee. I lost my interes after copyright controversy when CA strike some translation channels.
+Kaitlin Taylor I think the problem is that on RUclips, his videos are hid HARD with constant copyright claims, so his content has to be repeatedly reuploaded. It's even a joke in the comments that everyone in the "notification squad" catch a new upload before it inevitably gets taken down.
Funnily enough, I asked Mike if there were any job openings at Channel Awesome, and he told me they did, for sound editing, and possibly as a guest in a Nostalgia Critic bit. I could do both. But this voice in the back of my head told me not to go for it. I didn't. Then this stuff comes out about him being a horrible person comes out and I wave that ship goodbye.
Please tell me that's a joke. If so, I'm pretty sure that wasn't the real Mike. I know someone was posing or/and trolling as him. No way that can be serious.
Reading that document was a bit odd for one personal reason: I went on a date with Holly when she lived in the Chicago area. And at that time I didn't even know about her affiliation with Channel Awesome and she was mainly in charge of a less successful spinoff series. Only till a while later I still had her on Facebook and some of her posts crossed over with Doug's. She did tell me about her medical condition when we went out but I didn't know that later what went on behind the scenes at her job with CA was also exacerbated by her illness and eventually knowing that she moved out of state
Beckett It makes me simultaneously laugh out loud and die a little on the inside. I hate how fucked up things got. Makes me think of all the friendships that didn’t last... Doug’s stuff used to be what helped me laugh on the worst days. He was like a confidant, even though he never actually heard me. Learning the truth about him hurt in ways words can’t seem to describe. I had a rough 2018...
We sincerely regret you felt that way. Man, that's almost Rick and Morty levels of bad apology, where in one episode, Rick is like "I'm sorry that you think you deserve an apology"
And you're partially right. Actually Rick was the first to say that. When Beth says it to the creepy froopy land guy, she eventually realizes "Oh my god, I'm my father" If I'm being fair :P, rick says it because Beth wants an apology from him.
I heard about some of this stuff when Phelous left (he aired some grievances on Tumblr), but I genuinely didn't realize how bad it was. I still like some of their producers (Yomarz, Brad Jones, Todd in the Shadows, Rocked, The Dom, Brandon Tenold, Bennett the Sage) (edit: I have been informed Todd left at some point), but I've just subscribed to them via RUclips, the website is pretty much obsolete by this point. In any event, Christ, Mike Michaud sounds like a P.O.S. Still find it kinda funny that To Boldly Flee had a whole "we're a family and you can't divide us" message at the end, only for like half the people that were in it to leave within the next few months.
Well, having watched the Nostalgia Critic and Nostalgia Chick in my tweens, it was really satisfying to hear you say "I remember it so you don't have to". Full circle.
I think one of the worst things about this is that the information has been available for a long while, especially in regards to Holly, the HR woman. The full extent of the scumminess wasn't always front and center, but after the first "Mass Exodus" in which Obscuras Lupa, Phelous, Lindsay Ellis and Kyle Kallgren left the site, some... some THINGS began to circulate. I tried to give Channel Awesome the benefit of the doubt at first, but so much corporate incompetence has been unearthed that I can't defend the Walkers' and Michaud's (especially) actions any longer.
All of this could have been stopped YEARS ago, but nobody wanted to expose them since they still made money/views from that very website. Now when they no longer need Channel Awesome, they are milking this for some fame. I'm not saying this shouldn't have been exposed, but if these people REALLY cared about each other they should have exposed this when it was still fresh.
So after doing some reading, all of this has been discussed as far back as 2015 on various forums discussing TGWTG/CA. Up to and including the use of JewWario's suicide as a monetization opportunity, all of Michaud's assorted bullshit, and the injuries sustained during the anniversaries. Seeing how much of this has already been discussed by non-producers for years, I'm becoming increasingly more confused as to why the document has just now come to light. I would assume NDA's, but we all know that CA used as little paperwork as humanly possible. Is it because they now are secure enough to speak out without relying on TGWTG/CA for their audience and income?
Just never forget if you guys rewatch this too Most of these people if not all of them are still making content, and most of them are still good. Definitely support them!
I'm so glad Lindsay ellis left; she's so talented and her video essays are really truly beautifully written actual video essays, not that nerdwriter shit
If you've read the document, I don't see how you could think it was Spoony/Noah. There is no way that Allison (Lupa) would have been defending him. Plus Spoony technically quit.
starsiegeplayer not really. Linkara was playing his Mechakara character and he was making Nostalgia Chick a cyborg. In the script, Film Brain walks by the room and the process sound like sex (or rape). I could be wrong but that's what I've understand. PS. I've seen the film, I added the "I could be wrong" part because of the original scrip and what was in the film could be separate.
That's odd seeing as he was actually on there for one of the longest times out of any of the producers, staying on right 'till the end, leaving in 2018.
@@elijahfordsidioticvarietys8770 Haven't watched Todd in years. Comments here seem to say he's doing better than most of them, maybe I'll check him out again.
Channel Awesome used to be one of my favourites back in the day. Despite the fact that I haven't watched Doug in quite some time (Nostalgia Critic devolved into unfunny skits and Doug screaming nonsense at the camera) watching all this unfold is weirdly heart breaking, in a way. Doug was one of the first RUclipsrs I ever followed, and through him i discovered Cinema Snob, Linkara, Nostalgia Chick, Film Brain, Obscurus Lupa etc. I remember being excited for all of their yearly movies. It's like watching a Kevin Spacey movie. I'll always look back on the old TGWTG content with fondness, but it's going to be hard to still see them the same way knowing all this BTS drama, especially the movies. I think the thing that bums me out the most about it is that originally with the movies I always just assumed the whole thing was driven by people goofing around doing what they love, even if it was just objectively silly, I always assumed that it was all in good fun. It all does fall into a much different light when you find out that it was all just apparently a big ego trip for Doug.
It's just so confusing to me that these people don't seem to want to treat their staff with respect. People looked up to them, hell as a kid I wanted to be the NC when he retired. Why would you want an environment like this, why would you want to make ego-trip films which only really appeal to you? Fucking narcissists man
Agreed. Hell as soon as NC retires I would take up the mantle. Ill still do it. Hell ill make a few reviews now. But this has broken me....I just hope Doug can apologise, fire the CEO and move on and make all the trouble he caused to his staff be forgotten with him help them out.
Oh God. What the Walker brothers did in the those four movies sounds like something that would happen if you gave two teenagers too much power. I think after 10 years they've learned and regretted. But Michaud? I'm certain he's off the deep end. They should've never gotten into business without any directions...
For all we know Mike did't like Nostalgia Chick or Linkara and wanted to "punish" them and forced it in. Or Doug ran out of ideas. Both are possible. But seeing as how much of an ass Mike is I putting my bets there.
I write scripts in my spare time. Ever since I was twelve. The scripts I wrote when I was 13 were better. They were at least charmingly stupid(one was about a guy who fought crime by shooting acid out of his nipples).
I always gave the awfulness of the anniversary movies a pass when i was young because I figured it was good friends having good fun. Once you learn no one was having anything remotely close to a good time, it just seems psychotic, like what we're the Walkers trying to do?!
Nostalgia Critic and Channel Awesome were some of the first web shows I ever got into, and it's genuiniely upsetting and kinda depressing to know all this was going on behind the scenes.
CubeMster the accounts of many people behind the scenes, screen shots and the fact that CA is not even denying the claims in that document. I’m more willing to side with the victims on this one.
Its somewhat painful to watch this kind of dumpster fire. Since a long time ago, they seem like the fun cool kids club which we all thought are real friends. They give a sense of community that help and work together to make people laugh. Yet sadly one of the things written in the doc is that the Walker brothers never even really thought any of them as friends. I mean okay you dont need to like your coworkers but at the most at least be professional and fair about how you treat them 8
I hate to see people celebrating the existence of these allegations because they think Channel Awesome is "unfunny" or "cringy". His content being funny or good doesn't have anything to do with these allegations.
Emano just because you follow a personality doesn't mean you know them, and trust me you don't want to after hearing all of this, i'm disqusted by these behaviors
Couldn't agree more. I have seen so many people finding the whole situation amusing and ignoring how many people got hurt just bc they didn't like channel awesome
Gorgeous Gremac I never claimed to know the people over there, I'm just mad the cringetube community just preffers to make fun of content they dont find entertaining instead of worrying about the actual crimes the NC staff commited. Its like if someone like ricegum killed somebody but people reacted with "omg his videos are so lame"
Emano i agree on that, many people would say "oh thier lame anyway or they suck" instead of discussing the actual alleigation Channel awesome might have not been liked by many, but they were respected content creators on the site, if the alleigations were 100% true (which likely they are) then CA will lose everything it had of love and respect
Honestly this kinda hurts. Channel awesome used to look amazing. The crossovers, the movies, the community. It’s an era that we’ll never have again. Yeah it was dumb and cheesy but I loved seeing the creators and personalities interact in that way. I used to day dream about being on that site (I unfortunately lack the talent to really produce videos people would actually wanna watch lol) it was strictly a pipe dream but I would see those gay movies and think “wow what a great community. Wouldn’t that be cool to be a part of something like that? All these guys seem great and it’s cool that they’re all friends and having fun goofing around and hanging out. Who cares if the movie sucks? I wanna see my favorite creators dick around in costumes having a great time” and to find all this out just sucks y’know. Guess it turns out the acting in them was better than I’d thought.
Me too, I even had dream when I'm by accident share hotel room with cast from TGWTG :( Or was daydreaming about doing convention in my country and inviting whole cast...Now I feel like I was naive believing in their friendship :(
They've always been on the fringe of tolerable, a channel run by people trying too hard to be hip and part of the "in" crowd. I stopped watching when their content boiled down to "LOL we're SJWs and So cool, so random! Lelelel."
I think the reason why Channel Awesome's video is popular even if their production value or writing wasn't good is because their content invoke the nostalgia of playing pretend when we used to be kids (I can't be the only one, right?). There's a certain kind of entertainment to watch a bunch of grown up dudes and dudettes trying to act out childhood fantasies and make a career (at least that's what I thought at the time I used to love their content) out of it.
When channel awesome said: “we’re really sorry that you felt that way” it reminds of this one episode of “the good place” where Brent writes a terrible novel and after reading it, Simone and Tahani demand an apology for how offensive it is, and this is Brent’s apology: “I’m sorry if my book, which was totally okay made you feel like it wasn’t totally okay”
So glad to know that people like Lindsay Ellis and Toddintheshadows are still respected content creators post Channel Awesome/ThatGuyWithTheGlasses. Lindsays video essays are nothing short of amazing, and Todds Pop Song reviews, Top 10s and his new TrainWreckords are just hilarious and still feels like hes the only one in his field.
TheRapCritic is underrated, to me as I felt we needed a guy that knows the genre to mock and review its more modern absurdities in the industry. Very creative branch off.
Jesus what next? Is Team Four Star secretly running child bare knuckle boxing ring when on hiatus? I already lost most of my childhood heroes don't let my internet heroes end up being alleged scam artists that try to legally manipulate their way to the top.
I really hope nobody else among the Awesome Alumni are doing evil things, but considering how long most of J**W****’s friends thought he was a good guy, any one of them could theoretically be hiding a dark side. For all I know, Phelous could be the leader of a cult that sacrifices children to an evil raccoon god. I don’t have any reason to think he is, but after the J**W**** shit nothing seems impossible anymore.
Doug’s understanding of fair use is similar to when people use artwork without payment or permission under the logic of “well, Im giving them free exposure”
if I may play devils advocate with one single point, the idea that 2 reviewers can't review the same film was more a running joke born from the fans reaction to when a reviewer covered a film already done by another since the fans would often attack the second review as being a rip off or an attempt at leeching off the success of the first one because well, people are terrible, later reviews that did the whole "You can't review this I already reviewed this" stuff we're obviously sarcastic and tongue and cheek
Her latest review series is the best. Her Hobbit videos have the talented writing, length, analysis and production values of a real documentary. I love her!
Her criticism is mature, yes. But I have always found her content dry as fuck. If I want critical theory analysis, I will read an academic journal. I want a fun review. Never understood the hype with her.
It really sucks, because I used to love Doug and he was one of my inspirations for wanting to make films and comedy. Same with a ton of other people on the site, and AVGN. Even though I personally can't watch his videos now knowing what was going on behind the scenes, I still can't shake the fact that he did help inspire me. It sucks, but if you're impacted at a young enough age, it's hard to detach that bond you've created with something.
@@lostbengirl Eh, even with that mentality, Doug's taint has been so intertwined with the Nostalgia Critic that I can't find myself going back to his works, even if there's some good ones under all the bullshit.
I hear you, I’ve been watching the Nostalgia Critic since I was seven years old, I am now sixteen years old and it really hurts finding out the shitty things that went on behind the scenes. I have no idea if I’ll be able to continue to watch him anymore.

It’s the goddess!!!
Hey I know you.
Margaret Elliott nah it’s ironic
It's like poetry it rhymes.
But the chart says
The sad thing about this is that I still laugh at that joke, despite the painful, painful irony of it.

Jinzo Okami How is the video so far?
The worst part is that they didn't say sorry. They never said it once the entire 4 paragraph note.
Apologizing requires an admittance of guilt, which they refuse to admit. "Sorry you felt that way" really means "sorry you felt that way, but that's on you because your allegations aren't legitimate". Lol
I didn't think it was possible to make a worse apology than Logan Paul's first statement. They indirectly blame the readers, which is just disgusting.

A FOUR hour film made in less than SEVEN days?! Christ. Filming/editing that pile must of been a nightmare.
And according to the document, Doug and Rob were constantly at each other's throats. Content creators would just sit around waiting for their scenes with no real scheduled planning. It was super hot in Doug's basement, and this was all time they weren't getting paid for.
I really would have hated to be involved in it in any way.

I still can't believe Doug Walker was like, "I'm retiring my character, so an entire era is ending and everybody else is retiring, too." Jesus.
Bronwyn Johnston like when ya find our Santa isn't real. Sorry to hear Doug is not even running CA! I feel betrayed.
He and Rob WILL respond publicly. But they can't until they've hired a Lawyer and brought forth the Grievances.
Yeah, her essay on Satire (Mel Brooks) was really eye-opening about cinema/general history.

“Lindsay Ellis reviewed girly media from Doug Walker’s childhood.” 😂 I love how you said this. So glad Lindsay has long ago now broken free of Doug and Rob and Michaud and now outshines them with her by far superior content.
IKR Things are not made for genders, what is this, the 50's?
@@ClaudetteVioletta It kind of made sense though. Doug reviewed boy’s shows from the 80s like Transformers and she’d review My Little Pony and similar stuff instead.
One of her best pieces from them was on Daria, where she mostly talked about Feminism and how it’s reflected in the show. She was trying to shine even back then, but was restricted to Doug’s nostalgia
well you have to start somewhere honestly
On their website, they posted a responce and it is pretty much them trying to force down their opinion that they are correct
It's one of the worst I've ever seen.
is it bad to show evidence that proves your innocence?
Doug Walker sounds like he’s parodying himself when talking about fair use
I find these Fallen Titans videos so fascinating because they really are short, modern history lessons. People forget quickly, especially on the internet and since I doubt the History Channel will ever bring up internet phenomena like this, I think there is a very big value in cataloging the happenings on the internet for the future like this. Because memories and knowledge fades, which is why historical science even exists. So Fallen Titans, and things like Down the Rabbit Hole are really sort of preparing for the future. Who knows, maybe in 50 years, internet history will be just as mainstream and accepted as classic history and so these kinds of videos are very important.
adamgrogory EmpLemon and his "RUclips Geographic" series are also pretty good.
Emp's a pretty smart guy, even his shitposting has rhyme and reason (which you can argue is sort of the antithesis of shitposting).
The internet is part of entertainment, there will probably be catalogs for this the same way there is catalogs for the music, film, and even comic book industry.
I went from "Oof Nostalgia Critics review of The Wall was just a poorly done parody" to "Nostalgia Critic is t r a s h" in only 2 days.
I was at the trash point before the Change the Channel and Wall shit...
Imagine how much further I’ve fallen
I don't get what happened two days after the review of The Wall.
@@GreaterSeraph The only thing good about the Phantom review was that Beth Elderkin is funny and an amazing singer.
is anybody else kind of numb to information like this now? Like, channel awesome was a huge part of my life for years, I watched almost all the creators on there. Learning about this should have been heartbreaking, but all I can feel is "Eh, disappointing but not surprising"

Sarah seems like every youtube company is hiding some shit. Wouldn't be surprised if rooster teeth was hiding some skeletons.
Outrage fatigue. The internet's left us with so many things to be angry about that we're burnt out beyond the point of caring anymore.

There are people who have inside information on Rooster Teeth and aren't allowed to discuss it, but they say they treat their workers badly.

Maybe someone could try to buy the company away from Mike?
@@nathanclark2424 I'm certain if you tried that, he either will just say "No Sale" or give a truly ludicrous offer of $x00M for the brand name, because despite this entire CtC controversy, the Nostalgia Critic name is still making money off newbies who came in after CtC ran its course. Emberilliance I agree, I don’t know what happened to him. He seems disturbed.
Well there was the cheetah men scandal.
Adrian Nelson yeah it kinda was.
The Rap Critic and Todd are both now amazing and on their own, especially Todd.
Wyatt Corbin Todd's style was always the least like Doug's
Matthew Forbes
Most of the people he shits on tend to lack the lyrical ability.
Mike is basically the stereotypical capitalist. He’s like a GTA side character without punchlines.
He’s one of the people a character would tell you to perform a hit on and he wouldn’t get a dedicated cutscene or background. You just walk to him, cap him, and mission completed.
@Gzus Kreist What
@Gzus Kreist He literally owns the capital from which production is made, the rights to Nostalgia Critic as a brand, character, and show, then sits around all day reaping the profits off of that production while barely doing anything himself. That is capitalism.
It's amazing how much denial goes into right-wing thought

The scripts were basically "this is what Doug and Rob think your character is, here are the one or two traits that you're allowed to have" with an added "Critic is the smartest and funniest person and always gets the last word in"
These films ,especially the fourth one , feel like an allegory for Channel Awesome.
Well, i guess, my sense of humor is stinks cause i find them funny when watch them for the first time. It's just some filling of growns up childness that makes me like them.
At least the first one. I never watch To Boldly Flee. I lost my interes after copyright controversy when CA strike some translation channels.
I agree that Todd in the Shadows is great
I don't get why he's not more popular. He's by far the best thing to come out of that site.
Yup he actually talks about his subject (song) for the entire video and never goes off every 5 minutes carrying on an unfunny skit
he dated nostalgia chick too, he got the whole package during his time there
+Kaitlin Taylor I think the problem is that on RUclips, his videos are hid HARD with constant copyright claims, so his content has to be repeatedly reuploaded.
Nope, it was definitely him. Especially because it was face to face.

Unfortunately that is the best way to describe it. The manner in which these people treated their former creators and crew is just unethical af.
Aubrey Hallman another bloody "open secret"... hopefully in our lifetimes things will shift more so there aren't any more open secrets
Just never forget if you guys rewatch this too
Most of these people if not all of them are still making content, and most of them are still good. Definitely support them!
I'm so glad Lindsay ellis left; she's so talented and her video essays are really truly beautifully written actual video essays, not that nerdwriter shit
erin h why do people not like Nerderiter?
Jenifer Joseph his analyses are usually far-reaching and pretentious and don't really look into what he's analyzing
erin h Idk when you look at his analysis of Night Hawks and Leda and the Swan he goes pretty in depth into those works
I like both
erin h who's that?
TJ tried to tell us.
Lordkat tried to tell us.
Lupa tried to tell us.
Phelous tried to tell us.
Who was the pedo who got kicked out, i wonder.
I'm sure we'll find out by year's end.
If you've read the document, I don't see how you could think it was Spoony/Noah. There is no way that Allison (Lupa) would have been defending him. Plus Spoony technically quit.
I didn't see their last movie... but making Linkara rape Nostaligia Chick? That's just so wrong (for both characters)!
starsiegeplayer not really.
The TRUE Royal SCP [AKA Crazy CreepyPasta] ok that makes much more sense. Thanks
Even if it made sense for the context, there's no reason it needed to be done that way. None.
starsiegeplayer i’ve known but ignored channel awesome for so long. started liking them about 2 months ago. this whole thing is making my head spin :(
I heard it was Mechakara who did the deed. Linkara still objected (can't blame him though).
I didn't even know that Todd in the Shadows had begun as part of Channel Awesome. It has become independent and become quite successful, I guess.
Fucking narcissists man
John Barry Well if this isn't a well thought out, insightful comment, I don't know what is
John Barry evidently you are a wordsmith sir
Agreed. Hell as soon as NC retires I would take up the mantle. Ill still do it. Hell ill make a few reviews now. But this has broken me....I just hope Doug can apologise, fire the CEO and move on and make all the trouble he caused to his staff be forgotten with him help them out.
I hear ya, BattleUp Saber. I hear ya.
They were at least charmingly stupid(one was about a guy who fought crime by shooting acid out of his nipples).
lindsay ellis has really evolved, her newer uploads are seriously some of the most elaborate pieces of thought (about movies) i have watched recently
Same here!!! It hurts!!!
any proof?
yeah i loved watching the nostalgia critic videos.
Agreed. Art is subjective. Sadly some people have used these horrible allegations to their advantage. Hope CA responds.
Emano just because you follow a personality doesn't mean you know them, and trust me you don't want to
after hearing all of this, i'm disqusted by these behaviors
Couldn't agree more. I have seen so many people finding the whole situation amusing and ignoring how many people got hurt just bc they didn't like channel awesome
Gorgeous Gremac I never claimed to know the people over there, I'm just mad the cringetube community just preffers to make fun of content they dont find entertaining instead of worrying about the actual crimes the NC staff commited. Its like if someone like ricegum killed somebody but people reacted with "omg his videos are so lame"
Emano i agree on that, many people would say "oh thier lame anyway or they suck" instead of discussing the actual alleigation
Channel awesome might have not been liked by many, but they were respected content creators on the site, if the alleigations were 100% true (which likely they are) then CA will lose everything it had of love and respect
I just got to the point where you basically made this same point. So I guess my comment can be boiled down to “#relatable”
Me too, I even had dream when I'm by accident share hotel room with cast from TGWTG :( Or was daydreaming about doing convention in my country and inviting whole cast...Now I feel like I was naive believing in their friendship :(
It has always been cringey garbage.
"We sincerely regret you felt that way," is like punching someone in the stomach and saying, "It's not my fault you have stomach pain."
"You ran straight into my fist! It's not my fault!"
When channel awesome said: “we’re really sorry that you felt that way” it reminds of this one episode of “the good place” where Brent writes a terrible novel and after reading it, Simone and Tahani demand an apology for how offensive it is, and this is Brent’s apology:
“I’m sorry if my book, which was totally okay made you feel like it wasn’t totally okay”
How come I've never come across Bearded American Robert Pattinson before?
I guess I have been losing weight if those are the comments people are making about me
Well, the resemblance is pretty striking. :-)
@@GeteMachine I LOVE HIM!
I am not even into rap. His presentation is just amazing.
Didn't Lindsay and Todd used to date? What happened with that?
LOL nobody respects them...
@@chownful In what exactly are you basing that claim?
Jesus what next? Is Team Four Star secretly running child bare knuckle boxing ring when on hiatus? I already lost most of my childhood heroes don't let my internet heroes end up being alleged scam artists that try to legally manipulate their way to the top.
I mean I'd watch bare knuckle child boxing. Sounds both brutal and hilarious. Brutalarious.
Honestly, I'd watch TFS Bare-Knuckle Toddler Boxing.
@@rassilontdavros3004 Do you how somebody would join the raccoon cult that Phelous doesn't lead? Asking for a friend.
"We here at team four star do not condone child violence, we do however find it hillarious"
Doug’s understanding of fair use is similar to when people use artwork without payment or permission under the logic of “well, Im giving them free exposure”
Like Aaron Carter
if I may play devils advocate with one single point, the idea that 2 reviewers can't review the same film was more a running joke born from the fans reaction to when a reviewer covered a film already done by another since the fans would often attack the second review as being a rip off or an attempt at leeching off the success of the first one because well, people are terrible, later reviews that did the whole "You can't review this I already reviewed this" stuff we're obviously sarcastic and tongue and cheek
massecurr agreed.
I suspect it wasn't that much of a joke by the time Doug started running out of nostalgic material to review.
That explains why Lindsay Ellis isn't the Nostalgia Chick anymore.
Nostalgia chick (based on an already problematic contest) was just a job to her, what she does now is what she wanted all along.
Honestly - I think she's better for it. Her criticism has matured while Doug's has regressed
Her latest review series is the best. Her Hobbit videos have the talented writing, length, analysis and production values of a real documentary. I love her!
Who Dat Ninja I'm really enjoying her Hobbit vids too
Her criticism is mature, yes.
You can still love the art someone creates and hate the person behind it. There's been a lot of that these days.
Lostiesgirl wait what was going on the behined the scenes with AVGN
@@jadenbryant9283 I don't think Lostiesgirl meant AVGN exactly but rather, about many fallen artists or creators being jerks or having done somehting really bad that stained reputation.
AVGN hasnt gotten into a major scandal or an issue. Ok there are some recent episodes taht had not been as good but beyond that, nothing heartbreaking or the like as far as i know.
Wait, Doug Walker is responsible for The Amazing Atheist being a thing?
Just when I thought my opinion of him couldn't go any lower.
Yup.
i think he was a thing before that
No, he existed before he joined Doug.
And AA is awesome
@D. A-Y Productions
Wasnt that the woman who leaked his porn video without AA consent?
No, he was already around. I was surprised when I heard he was working with Walker.
