Thank u for honoring and talking about Layne with respect. He was a good friend along with Dem. They loved people and never judged anyone. To bad that is all people do these days. We are all flawed.

I watch everything Involving LAYNE STALEY
Jerry is from Spanaway Washington. My late friend Jim Cooper was a friend and bandmate of his in the early formative Tacoma/South Puget days. Jim was a amazing bassist. RIP my friend.
There is a reason the bands and band members of previous generations are friends with and respect Alice the same as the bands of the next generations do. Alice In Chains are undeniably one of the greatest bands of all time. The music they have made and will continue to make resonates with people from all walks of life which is a testament to their incredible song writing. They are legends of rock and roll and will go down in history as such.
1991 I had just entered High school...and we have an area where everyone would go and smoke...And like everytime i went there the long hair guys...and girls would be playing MAN IN THE BOX over and over for about a month give or take...But..Of course at the time I didn't know who AIC were or anything...I wasn't even in to music at all...I think or maybe later Id listen to Vanilla Ice LMAO I Admit...but anyways were was I going...oh ya iam a HUGE Wrestling fan and in 1995 was when i herd the song again..the ECW Wrestler..TOMMY DREAMER used it as his theme....Thats my story lol dont know why I shared all that..but thats the facts of my life lol
Best band ever... there will never be another AIC. I still listen every day. My children know most songs word for word. Dirt is the soundtrack of my youth... my fave album of all time.
I find it funny when people say AIC weren't "grunge," but rather heavy metal. They clearly have no idea what "grunge" truly means. AIC was the most "grungy" of all Seattle bands, of the era, imho. They wrote, played, sang with brutal honesty, illustrating their pain and struggles without inhibition. The dark irony of their success is that without said struggles, the music wouldn't have ever been what it was... yet those very struggles pulled them under in the end.
RIP Layne and Mike. You are forever memorialized via the autobiographical lyrical manuscripts you left behind... forever celebrated... forever missed... never forgotten.🙏❤❤❤❤
Great video man! Keep up the hard work!
Really good work 👍
Lovely to see someone telling it how it is and how it should be ,man I miss Laynes sweet heart and his beutyful soul everything about Layne from a young age screamed I'm a Star ⭐ and a shinning one at that
Jerry looks so cute and baby faced in the thumbnail
I’m never this early
3:31 Jerry looks like the girl you’ve always wanted in middle school
This is Awesome
love your channel bro
Thank you
2:15 solo Cantrell pic was from a Karen Mason (karenmasonblair.com) shoot for a RIP Magazine AIC feature written by Michael Browning, just after Alice opened for Poison when Warrant (Saw Red &) left the tour unexpectedly.
Layne was always a handsome guy, look at that clip of young Layne 🥺
#LSMS
Cud you imagine AIC playing a gig at your house party?!
I've never seen the thumbnail picture. Is Layne wearing eye makeup?
Lol yes he is!
Layne was in a glam rock band before, but did wear makeup on occasions. He looks good regardless IMO 🥰
Getting old sucks. Our best years are 0-29.
Layne Staley ASMR style
They need to be inducted in the Rock and Roll hall of Fame for crying out loud!!!!!!
Greatest band ever
The 1st 45 seconds tells you Jerry needs to stop using the name. The name should've died when Layne died. It's a tribute band now. I totally believe that if Layne didn't join with Jerry he may have never been successful. I feel like they're make money off of Layne's fans. I know Jerry wrote the lyrics but it was Layne who was the one that grabbed our hearts. And Mad Season is the best proof ever Layne was so relaxed without AIC staring behind him always. Layne felt bad and if no one has been in Layne's shoes. It's hard and he was way to tender for that. MS was one of theeee best super groups ever. Just a jam session turned into a masterpiece. And Layne funk song omg AMAZING! Any song Layne is featured on without AIC is amazing. We will Never have a voice like that again.
100% agree.
Who is the Charles Manson looking dude sitting by Jerry Cantrell
Alice in chains is one of the greatest bands ever
Haven’t followed the band since losing Layne. I just can’t.
Layne would want you to. He's ok. He's out of suffering.
Can we get some AIC w William?
