The d day f15 skin was commemerating david kingsely, a ww2 b17 pilot who gave up his parachute to an injured gunner after the plane was losing speed and altitude. David Kingsley lost his life in the plane crash. RIP.

The “tulip” on the nose of the red anniversary skin of the F-4F “JG 71 Richthofen” is a tribute to Erich Hartmann. He was the most successful fighter pilot in history and used it on most his aircraft. From his ME 109s during the war to the F-86 Sabres he flew after the war. Just a nice little thing for you to know.

Would love a skin, based on the Russian Knights for the SU-27.
Sadly the russian knights use Su-30's not Su-27's so i doubt that gaijin would add them for the Su-27
They used Su-27s, they currently operate Su-30 and Su-35s

I think that’s the wrong skin for the f-4f ice. That is what the files described, jg71 anniversaryc but that skin is already a marketplace skin for the F-4F late, however incorrect that may be. I believe it’s more likely to be F-4F ICE 37+03, celebrating the 50th anniversary, as opposed to the 40th one in all red. The 50th is my favorite camo for any phantom, and it would be stupid for gaijin to do the 40th one twice.
the plane in game is different than the f4f ICE, the F4f KWS probally got this skin in real life.

@@BufferThunder kws, or Kampfwertsteigerung, translates roughly to “combat efficiency increase, or, Improved combat efficiency. It’s stage 3 of the kws program, identifiable by the light tan-ish nosecone (updated radar).
@@Lord_technik131 Although they seem the same, they are in fact not. The F4F ICE was designed around improving its air combat efficiency, while the KWS was upgraded to support modern and new Air to ground weaponry, as well as other small things to give it longer life in service.
I can't believe they haven't made a Dark Falcon and Dream Viper skin for the F-16 AM
3:55 Blue is indeed present on the ROUNDEL of the Belgian Armed Forces.
Also, this shade of blue is the color of the Air Component (air force)

The AV-8B skin is 🔥. I’m with you Mat I like the normal grey skins. On my Italian Harrier I pair it with the Low Vis roundel.
valid. I bought the marketplace skin for the italian av8b i love its dark grey splinter camo and the italian colors really make it pop tho.
I hope that the day they add the su 30, they add Venezuelan skins and finally the Venezuelan air force roundel which is not in the game, being one of the best hispanics air forces... smh. Even Mexico that only has like 5 F-5 has a Roundel in the game, bruh..

F-16AM should get the "Dream Viper" and the "Dark Falcon" skins ! Even USAF said they were crazy good ! (and inspired USAF's solo display)

F16’s are sick for customs and free flight I like going for the more military look as well in battles
I enjoy a good airshow/commemorative paint job but not for use in a combat scenario. I wish we had more alternate skins showing frontline squadrons. Both F-14s, the F-4J, and the F-4S should have so many cool squadron schemes in both High-Vis and Low-Vis versions but we hardly have any, especially for the F-14B and F-4S.
Only good skins for the F14’s are in skin crates. Best one is the Reaper squadron skin for the F14B
@@ICECAPPEDSKY Dude I was so disappointed when I got my F-14B and saw that wasn't one of the unlockable skins. What shocks me is that neither model has a Jolly Roger skin. Its not my personal favorite (that'd be the Black Knights) but its easily the most iconic one and neither Tomcat gets it.
@@majorborngusfluunduch8694 yeah I don’t know if or when the F14D is added we get a Jolly Rogers skin because it was available in the exact same scheme for all F14 variants. It’s a shame.
@@ICECAPPEDSKY Actually the Jolly Rogers, neither as VF-84 nor VF-103, did not fly the F-14D. They finished their time as a Tomcat squadron on the F-14B in 2004 prior to transitioning to the Super Hornet. So Gaijin needs to go back and add it to the planes we've got. Hell they love adding special occasion paint schemes, they should add the Jolly Rogers last cruise skin for the B model. And I hope they don't forget about the F-14D entirely. I get the uneasy feeling they'll skip over it to jump ahead to the Super Hornet.
What about the Improved Israeli Baz Tri-color camo?
Hopefully we get the mustang skin for the f15, the thunderbolt camo with invasion stripes for the a10 and (when it comes) the Battle of Britain camo for the typhoon

If you're a Sim player apt to merge or on a map where surprise attacks are possible, high vis paint is a really really bad idea.
I can't tell you how many times I've lost green or grey targets in the background only to find them on my tail or not see them until they fire.
I can tell you the few dozen kills I made because the player chose high vis paint like bright red, yellow, white, I had momentarily lost them over my shoulder only for the bright paint to stand out in stark contrast.
In "Can I play daddy?" modes with tags, you know like ARB, of course show off skins, logos, decals and Echeat... sorry Esports skins don't matter.
Just don't bring that crap to Sim or we'll send all your SL to the snail at 15k per kill.

I hate colorful skins except the US flag on F15 it’s to American for my opinion to matter, imagine being killed from 30km and you see the pov it’s a AMERICAN FLAG F-15C RAHHH EAGLE .

I’m as patriotic as the next man. But boy do I despise the Star and stripes camo it is way over the top. It’s just ugly. As a flag it’s fine. It’s symbolic we get it. But plastered on the whole plane? It looks like art barf.
