Hello from Cyprus. Very beautiful. Thank you very much
Cute! Would love more reviews from people who’ve actually completed this hat instead of just looking at the pattern. Didn’t work for me at all. Slip stitch brim took forever, and was inexplicably twisted and annoying. Scrapped and went back to normal SC back-loop, brim. And somehow through the body of the hat, I was off by one stitch, continually; always off by the post DC. Watched this tutorial many times; don’t understand what I’m doing wrong and I wish you added a touch more verbal guidance. Turned out very ugly for me and I ended up frogging the whole thing and going back to another pattern. HOWEVER, the instructions on how to bunch/secure the top were AWESOME! I haven’t seen one this clear, so thank you for that! :)
I made this hat, and every time she gave a new instruction I'd go and write it down and watch the video really thorough. My hat turned out really cute. I wish I could share a photo.
I just finished this hat. I’m a total beginner, this was my third hat so some mistakes were made but overall it turned out really cute. I agree that the brim took forever and I was also one stitch off for some reason. I probably won’t be making this hat again, very time consuming but still proud of my work.
I have made many using this pattern and they turn out beautifully.
I just did single crochet brim, it was a lot quicker and easier to do, I gave up trying the slip stitch brim.
Made this again and used SC for the brim, much faster! No missed stitches this time. It’s turned out so pretty! Thanks again ❤
Thanks for teaching
I like the pattern. Thank you
😊😊
Thank You for pattern .

Thank you xx
Thankyou very pretty God bless
You are very talented👍💕
Thank you x
Hey Carrie! I love it! Definitely going to crochet it, I like that is different from the usual. Take care!
Thank you Carrie for this wonderful pattern. Question: how do you get your brim back loop stitches so close to each other?
Hi Carrie! I'm new to your channel. I love your videos and the items you create. Could you post a video showing how you make the type of pom pom you use on your beanies? Thanks!!
So glad it’s worsted 4 because I have plenty at home
4:10 central time USA. I have made several hats from this pattern. Love it, however having trouble with FPDC SLANTING. Any suggestions? I was thinking I should either use understitch or turn at end of each row. Appreciate any input.
Love the pattern and texture of this beanie. The yarn is gorgeous! Is there a written pattern for purchase that is not buried in pages and pages of links and ads?
sorry I just have the written pattern on my blog at the moment. You will find the link in the video description. Have a great weekend x
These beanies look beautiful - but I have fingering yarn that I wanted to use to make one! Is it possible to do so? How would you adapt the pattern to suit fingering weight yarn?
Hi, love this pattern. Would you say the width of the band is about 2 inches? Thanks!
Can I use a 4.5 mm hook
Hi, Carrie 👋. I tried this crochet hat but my hat turned out really big it was hard to sew the top closed. I made 2 but they look round not so strait?
Is this hat pattern called “ crochet OlSIN beanie” on your website? That’s where I found the different band sizes.
Thank you
I love your pattern but have a question. The circumference for adult is 21 in written pattern but in transcript it says 19 inches for adult.
19 inches is the unstretched measurement. The slip stitch rib is very stretchy.
What multiple stitches should we use if we want to change sizes, if there is any. I did not understand the written pattern. Thx
I believe it’s a multiple of five stitches
What size needle did you use?
Hi, where do you get the fur or what is it called?
How tall is your brim?
Hi. I’m having problems with the front posts. They are slightly leaning to right for some reason. I’ve frogged my work three times so far. I’m at a loss. I’m not new to crochet and haven’t had this problem before. Does anyone out there have any ideas?
I'm having this same issue :((
Please please what is the gauge
Is this only for women?
@HeyCarrie what size hook are you using and what size do you use for each size?
