    Cute! Would love more reviews from people who’ve actually completed this hat instead of just looking at the pattern. Didn’t work for me at all. Slip stitch brim took forever, and was inexplicably twisted and annoying. Scrapped and went back to normal SC back-loop, brim. And somehow through the body of the hat, I was off by one stitch, continually; always off by the post DC. Watched this tutorial many times; don’t understand what I’m doing wrong and I wish you added a touch more verbal guidance. Turned out very ugly for me and I ended up frogging the whole thing and going back to another pattern. HOWEVER, the instructions on how to bunch/secure the top were AWESOME! I haven’t seen one this clear, so thank you for that! :)

      I made this hat, and every time she gave a new instruction I'd go and write it down and watch the video really thorough. My hat turned out really cute. I wish I could share a photo.

      I just finished this hat. I’m a total beginner, this was my third hat so some mistakes were made but overall it turned out really cute. I agree that the brim took forever and I was also one stitch off for some reason. I probably won’t be making this hat again, very time consuming but still proud of my work.

      I just did single crochet brim, it was a lot quicker and easier to do, I gave up trying the slip stitch brim.

      Made this again and used SC for the brim, much faster! No missed stitches this time. It’s turned out so pretty! Thanks again ❤

    4:10 central time USA. I have made several hats from this pattern. Love it, however having trouble with FPDC SLANTING. Any suggestions? I was thinking I should either use understitch or turn at end of each row. Appreciate any input.

    I love your pattern but have a question. The circumference for adult is 21 in written pattern but in transcript it says 19 inches for adult.

    • @denisedavies5859
      @denisedavies5859 Год назад

      19 inches is the unstretched measurement. The slip stitch rib is very stretchy.
