What a beautiful hat . I love the stitches and design. Two years ago I could barely crochet a chain and with clear precise instructions like yours I am able to crochet this hat with ease. Thanks 🙏🏽
Ty for a great tutorial! I have a suggestion for anyone who struggled with finding the skipped stitches when making the first row of puffs, like I did. I used a Bobby pin to mark the stitch exactly where I needed to go before doing the single crochet. I also made sure to position the bobbypin exactly where i needed to go, so I would pick up the two loops rather than grabbing the third loop as well. This way I just guided my hook right above the pin and avoided any frogging and frustration. Took a cpl of extra minutes but so worth it. Ty again, very clear and concise tutorial!!
This pattern is a game changer for making hats. Now on to the gloves. I changed the puffs to a different color and loved the effect. Thanks for your time and talent. Lady from Tx.
You’re right, really fun project that works up quickly. You saved me a lot of time by doing all the mental work on figuring out a nice seam. Thank you!
I ordered yarn...i thought i was ordering individual skeins...but i bought pkgs of 3 lol. So imstead of 3 i got 9...instead of 9 i got 27...so i am making hats for homeless....this hat is awesome...so easy and think so is perfect.. Tysm
I am just head over heels for this Autumn Wheat collection. I’m working on the sweater right now. Every video makes me want to clone myself so I can do them all at the same time. Thank you for sharing your talents.
This was easy and really worked well with my sport weight yarn. I was looking for a basic beanie with a little something extra. Found it. Lol. I wanted a beanie in the third loop but wasn't sure exactly how to do it and this video helped me get it done. Thanks.
Making this gave me so many ideas for clothing as well. Mind you, I have never made clothes before and I'm just starting my hat journey, but this got me really excited with the possibilities. Thanks for sharing your work. I loved it!
My dear, I have just discovered your beautiful channel, your craft is fabulous and 1. I would like to say how much I appreciate your time it takes to show us, and 2. You have beautiful hands. I am a Grandma, live in Australia, love the garden and don’t wear protection for my hands, and I admire beautiful hands, not a stalker my dear. Hugs from me to you. I don’t know what to make first. Giggles.❤❤
I just happen to come across your video on my RUclips feed. And I’m so happy that I found you. You have some wonderful patterns and your instruction is nice and slow and easy to follow your beautiful patterns and your wonderful instruction are going to make me look like a queen, thank you😂
Absolutely love this pattern! I hope you don’t mind me saying, but I could care less what you look like lol. This was fantastic and easy to follow thank you sooo much!!!
Awww. Newborn size makes me miss my niece being a baby 👶. I don't have any more litte ones in my life, so I will make adult size. I am a knitter, but I will try making this gorgeous beanie.
Tip.. we’re the stitch changes I use a length of yarn that fits around my head inter woven on the last rib stitch before stitch change.. you can keep a eye on the level /stitch change .. this length of yarn then become. My tape measure so I don’t have to keep measuring my head or the head of the person/child..
Well came too slip stitch it together im on the same side as you, but stitching the foundation row doesn't have the 3rd loop just front and back so im confused 🤔i have a 3rd loop on the row i was working but not the foundation row basically if that makes sense.?
I just watched the tutorial with the intention of turning it into a messy bun hat. I think you could do it simply by going around the top and not cinching it completely closed. Perhaps Bri will reply with another suggestion.
I would do a SC or HDC into the end of each ridge at the top of the hat and then SC around an elastic band (I usually use ponytail elastics from Dollar Tree).
This is a beautiful hat and worked up super quick! My brim ended up being way to tight and the rest of the hat baggy....is my tension to tight? Did anyone else have this priblem?
I got carried away with the stitches n forgot about the puff stitches 😂 so going too work out the center for the front see if I don't have to pull my rows out 🙈
I started one of the hats and now I cannot find the size chart. I believe it is toddler/child. Can you tell me where to find it so I can pick up where I left off and complete it pls? I love this pattern!
Hi, I recently came across your video. I am a beginner in crochet but I love this pattern. Where can I order that particular brand of yarn you used. I'm from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 in the caribbean
I don't know if Briana has a pattern for it, but I would do a SC or HDC into the end of each ridge at the top of the hat and then SC around an elastic band (I usually use ponytail elastics from Dollar Tree) instead of cinching it together.
Just wondering when doing the puff stitch are we going into the third stitch in the front of the row or crocheting into the top of the stitch like a normal crochet?
I'm watching the video and have your written pattern and the written pattern doesn't say to work in the 3rd loop of the half double crochet stitches when seaming together. The written pattern says to do the same thing for the ribbing and the body when seaming together. I came back to the video for clarification because it didn't make sense that there were instructions for seaming the ribbing and the body, but they were telling me to do the same thing.
I hope you won't be offended when I say how much better-looking you are without makeup, Briana. You shouldn't be: I mean it. I've made various of your products and am familiar with your 'professional' appearance; but seeing you at the start of this video without that professional face was a huge but pleasant surprise. You don't need makeup: you're quite good-looking enough without it.
Your comments are irrelevant and ignorant. You should be a little embarrassed, and you should take time off from commenting on other people's material.

That hat is really pretty. I would love to make it.

Very nice ❤ thank You ❤ très beau, merci ❤ Canada
Love your patterns, videos and courses! Thanks again!
Thank you for adding this to the mitten and headband tutorials! Happy Holidays!
When I finish the cardigan made just like this (only no puffs), I think this hat will be appropriate, especially to wear around the knitters!
❤❤❤

I was just wondering if this hat could be made into a messy bun hat...and if so how would you do it?

Çok şık 💙
Hi Briana I am in love with the autumn colección how do I buy the pattens do I can see the sizes for babies?
I wish I could make this, but I am really struggling with that third loop.
This is a beautiful hat and worked up super quick! My brim ended up being way to tight and the rest of the hat baggy....is my tension to tight? Did anyone else have this priblem?

Hi Briana, lovely hat, what size hook for newborn please ❤
I started one of the hats and now I cannot find the size chart. I believe it is toddler/child. Can you tell me where to find it so I can pick up where I left off and complete it pls? I love this pattern!

I thought you showed how to count your rows, but I can’t find it in the video. Can you tell me where to find that information, please?
Instead of doing 5 stitches in single crochet tbl will slip stitches tbl make the top of the hat even less bulky?
Working on the toddler size how do you count the rows, do you count the long stitch or how. Please and Thank you
Is there a pattern to show me how to make this a messy bun hat?
I don't know if Briana has a pattern for it, but I would do a SC or HDC into the end of each ridge at the top of the hat and then SC around an elastic band (I usually use ponytail elastics from Dollar Tree) instead of cinching it together.
Do you offer a written pattern for this beautifull hat?
Using his particular yarn...how much yarn did this hat take? Thank You 🌷
Just wondering when doing the puff stitch are we going into the third stitch in the front of the row or crocheting into the top of the stitch like a normal crochet?
Crochet into the stitch like normal when working the puff rows.
I was wondering if you are still working into the back loop only when doing the 32 half double crochets?
Where do I find the E book of your patterns to purchase? 11 months ago. Thank you
Where do you get your tags?
Beautiful, love it. I will surely make this gorgeous had. And you explain extremely well. ❤🧶
How do I find the sizes please for children’s hat
😊😊

Hi I dont seem to be able to find the measurement guide and I am desperate to crochet this for my granddaughter. Could you help me please 🤦♀️.
I'm confused. If it's 50 stitches, with 13 sc, 30 hdc, 5sc, that only adds up to 48. Where are the other 2 stitches?
@@hebasentz it’s 32 hdc not 30
Umm why would you not work it in the round ..
Wish you could have zoomed in so we could see better.
You know you can zoom in the video hun, I do it all time on my mobile.😊

No need to give your opinion on someone’s appearance. It’s completely inappropriate and unnecessary.
