    Agree with you about the front feeling weird at first. I replaced my stock Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR on my Tuareg with these on Saturday with Tusk 2Tracks. Those sidewalls are STIFF! I didn't have time for a long ride yet, glad to hear they start feeling better after a few miles.

    Nice review! That leap onto the bike earned you a new subscriber. 😂
    I appreciate what feels like genuine honesty in your reviews. It feels like that has become lacking in many other yt tire review videos. Thanks for the great work!

      Hey thanks...may have gave the ol beans a squish too haha...I've noticed that as well on reviews...real world honest testing isn't much found..it's usually a long video with info that doesn't say a whole lot that I can read from the manufacturer.

    Hopefully these will work out. I was pretty pleased when I tried the DSport rear, seemed to get better after a couple hours of use.

    Ive got the motoz adventure on my AT. The front isnt even low and they scream so loud on the highway. Its unbearable. I ride mostly highway and do some motocamping. Hows the noise on these?

      Off-road tires are going to be loud, and add vibrations...I'm sure these will get much louder as they wear.

      @dimsyadventures yeah. I'm OK with some noise. But my motoz sounds like a screaming rabbit.

      @@areess6209 that's the trade off of most off-road tires, they are off-road oriented so you cant expect street tire manners on the road...f you are riding mostly street look into the Motoz GPS, they do great until it's a slippery or sandy terrain

    Surprised they have the grip they do being so knobby like you were saying

    • @dimsyadventures
      @dimsyadventures  7 месяцев назад

      Knobs do pretty well on pavement, they are far from a street tire of course ..especially when leaned way over you feel the knobs starting to fold under..they just don't last usually, pavement just eats them away

    I was thinking of using non DOT on the front and keeping the street speeds lower.
    Is this nuts or doable?

      @dimsyadventures  7 месяцев назад +2

      Not sure on a heavy bike, i ran non DOT on my BMW x challenge with no issues(used a mid/hard), another problem is if get in an accident and the insurance finds out you have a non DOT tire, very likely they will drop the claim...id suggest the Motoz Dual Venture, great tire, and reversible

    trying to talk myself into ordering a set but i am picky about front tire feel also and since the TKC80 fronts went away i havent really found "the one" but al i think liking the Motoz Dual Venture thus far ..... whats your favorite front ?? my old fav combo was TKC80 front and Mitas E07 rear

    • @dimsyadventures
      @dimsyadventures  4 месяца назад +1

      The Motoz Dual Venture Is My To Fave 21 Front For Mostly Offroad, I've ran so many knobs through the years I don't pay much attention to feel unless grip is terrible, they wander make noise,wiggle, etc..big blocks are different however, also a fan of Motoz GPS fronts, for the long distance tire.
      I always say buy and try...tires aren't a lot of money, wear them out and try the next set, don't base anything on tires until 500-1000 miles...things can change in those times
