Forced child labor for profit is an atrocious, despicable act. Kids working with their families though, this is the most natural process. Very few countries don't have this happening naturally. We've been doing this since before we were even humans .. it's how the little ones learn, and bond too.
When you treat kids like they are competent and intelligent .. turns out, they are.
When you treat them like they can't do sh*t ... turns out, they can't.

@@dylanrampage9360 it depends on the type of palm but generally, no, palm roots do not cause issues with pavers or concrete. They typically get blamed because the pavers or concrete were actually installed incorrectly (incorrect base, etc). It's highly unlikely that a palm tree's roots will damage concrete. The roots for palm trees stay the same diameter for the life of the root.

I love the "pavers" you made.... This looks like something that might solve a problem for my husband and I ....We were looking to buy big pavers but they are so expensive...I so much agree with letting your kids work....and sometimes we made our kids help us doing certain big jobs in the yard, when they were teens.......They helped then they got to go to their friends houses or do something they wanted. Kids need to learn by example.
