This is the story of how two awkward newlyweds went from living in an apartment in a small town in Tennessee, to traveling to 100 countries while building a community of over 1 million of the coolest subscribers here on RUclips :) THANK YOU.
Really hope you're not done with vlogging, I will miss your travels and adventures. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us. I am grateful for every video and every tear and every smile you gave to me.

I think maybe they are hoping to move from traditional 'vlogging' (hence, 'the last vlog') to more of these longer documentary style videos? Hence why this was an 'experiment'? I don't know how I would feel about that, kind of like the regular little vlogs 🤷♀️

It’s not the places you’ve been to but it’s you two’s personality that drove this many subscribers. You treat your goals higher than money. You are so grateful. You two are just so lovely and we can feel you two connecting and caring for each other. Even if ppl going to the same places doing the same things as you do, it wouldn’t be the same videos.
Thats what I like about them. They film the ups, and downs and don't put on a mask to pretend like everything is perfect and works our exactly how you want. They film, just them and it makes their channel so pure. (I know I'm a month late but I was rewatching the video and scrolled down to comments)

Kara and Nate, I rarely post, but I just need you to know how much you have touched my life. I have Crohn's disease, and am unable to travel. Sometimes I cannot even leave my own home. 4 years ago I was in a phrase of researching my trip to Japan so I was watching every single video I can find on Japan I can get my hands on. Your video was one of them and I have been a subscriber ever since. Around the same time I had a friend who also went away to travel round the world and I recall telling him I found this couple online vlogging and my friend should do the same thing!
I can’t remember why I kept watching but I have not missed a single episode.
I loved all the highs as well as some of the mishaps, the image of Kara eating a spider still one of my favourite moments.
I am not sure where this is going but I just want to say thank you and I love you both.
Ps you don’t own us anything, your videos bring joy into my life and many others, it bring us important travel tips, travel hacks to those that can travel, it bring the world closer to those that can’t.
I love the fact that you guys care so much about what us, the viewer think of you, I thank you for your hard work and I admire your bravery in doing what you are doing.

You guys were the inspiration for how I spent my last summer... after 20 years of living with Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, ADHD, Aspergers, self harming, attempted suicides, autism, breaking up from the boyfriend that I never thought I would get and 3 different forms of anxiety (separation anxiety, general anxiety and social anxiety) thanks to you two I did something I never thought I could ever do... this time 18 months ago I couldn’t go to the shops on my own - in July 2019 I set off in my Volkswagen Polo from Dorset, England on my own on a road trip across Europe. I love how full circle your journey has been. It reminds me of what Nate said about comfort zones while climbing Mount Albert. When you first started filming your travels, the thought of making a documentary was intimidating because you were unfamiliar with filming. However, as you pushed yourselves and began creating more vlogs, the circumference of your comfort zones grew. Now, 100 country’s later, you have done what you initially thought you couldn’t. You created an incredible documentary. Thank you for not deleting your original vlogs, being able to look back and see how much both of you have grown is so inspiring. I'm watching this in July 2020 and I am so glad that they reached their goal before the world shut down. Hopefully it's not shut down forever because I want to travel again but rewatching their videos helps lol

How symbolic. Today I finished all 700 videos, which I've been trying to catch since mid-2017... I have developed a crazy travel bug but can't travel as much as I'd hope to, so for the past two and a half years, your videos have been the gateway to the world. You have such vibrant personalities and watching you guys has been such an unbelievable experience, seeing your equipment change, old friends return, the editing getting 10x better. I'll be honest.
