You guys are so much fun to travel with!! It was such an honor to join this adventure, especially having followed your journey to 100 countries... never thought I'd be there for country #101. Honestly, it was such a joy to join, and see the way you guys see life and the world. Really so refreshing for me. You deserve all of the success you've gotten and more. THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES.
Well I’m a 72 year old woman from Ontario Canada and I found you through watching Eamon and Bec. I have been marathon watching you to get to this point. I started from 4 years ago and now I will go back further. I also watch Riley and Elena. I love watching your adventures. Kara I have cried every single tear with you as well as laughed until I cried. What a great laugh you have…it’s very infectious. Nate what a sweet husband you are. Making coffee each and every morning, just one of many of the sweet ways you show Kara how much you love her. Thank you for your videos. Continue your adventures and be safe. ❤️
Nathaniel was such a great addition to this trip he is so funny 😂😂 can’t wait to see the wife races!!!!! And as always thank you for making my day brighter ❤️☺️
I’m from Bulgaria and I’ve been waiting for this video since I started watching you in 2019 (and I’ve watched all your videos since then). Thank you so much for the pleasure of seeing you enjoy staying here even for only 72 hours! It’s amazing to see how someone can appreciate our country without all the awful political and social problems we have here, clouding their mind. You managed to experience the best things possible in 72 hours. If there’s one thing that I’m not happy about is that I wasn’t with you here (joking, not joking 😁). I sincerely love your content and watching you explore Bulgaria was a whole different type of excitement! Thank you for this experience! P.S.: Every Bulgarian will love you for saying this about our yogurt, Kara 😁 You’re so right! I can’t wait to see what you’re doing next 💙 Nadzrave! With a glass of rakia ✨
I have family in Bulgaria and I’ve lived there for a bit! It’s absolutely gorgeous and everyone is incredibly friendly too. Bulgaria is truly a diamond! ❤️🇧🇬
So firstly Nathaniel is just the perfect addition to this trip, secondly while van life with K&N was awesome I'm so happy to see Y'all are back to showing the world to all of us through your eyes and adventures await. My day just got a whole lot more amazing.
Definitely have Nathaniel in more videos!!! Great addition to the fabulousness of you two!!! GREAT video!!! Thank you for taking us along to your 101 country!!!
Kara and Nate I have watched so many of your videos and my mum loves you she thought the villa house on the water was amazing and we would love to go one day but... we think you should come to Liverpool OR London! they are so beautiful and there is so much to see! just thank you
I know you guys have mentioned you’re worried about the length of your videos but I LOVE THEM!! My three kids enjoy watching them with me and you guys make such fun and clean content. We love you!!!!
I think the length depends on what is going on. Whatever length the videos naturally happen to be is fine, shortish and action packed or to the point is usually the goal, but if it happens to be longer because you have so much to show and say, then so be it.
Hello from Bulgaria! I'm so glad to see you here! You made right decision to skip the coast and went hiking in Rila mountain. There are lots beautiful views. I hope you enjoyed your stay in the country and come back again because there are many more beautiful places to visit.❤
Ikr I don't know if Kara and Nate even realize that Poland has the entire Baltic Sea coast which is all sandy beaches plus numerous forests including the Crooked Forest and mountain ranges with gorgeous lakes like the one here including Morskie Oko, Rysy and Sniezka!
So true. By the way, Bulgaria is in Southeastern Europe, so it is quite different to other parts of what’s considered “Eastern Europe”. We are as southern as the most southern regions of Italy and Spain, and we have much more in common with Greece and Turkey than with most Eastern European countries.
Nathaniel was such a hysterical addition, I loved his commentary so much. This looked like one to remember for sure. Those harrowing drives literally singed in my brain forever, and it instantly brought back so many travel memories!
Nathaniel has such great energy! He is so funny, I literally laughed the whole video! Always enjoy watching your adventures Kara & Nate. I feel like I get to travel also!
You have consolidated yourselves as one of the best travel channels in RUclips and I'm so proud to have witnessed most of your growth. Congratulations, you guys totally deserve it!!!!
Worlds are colliding with Nate squared! Two of the best channels on the platform, just awesome! 🙌Not to mention this video just shot Bulgaria up our list of places to go! 🇧🇬 Great video as always, happy to see you guys are adding to the list, can't wait to see 102! ✈
*Arran* Arran is a kind general person who always thinks about other people. He always puts other people first. He gorgeous kind and generous. And always wants to help other people. Sometimes he gets annoying but you can never stay mad at him. He always goes out of his way to do even something small for someone , who would even go across the world just to see someone he cares about. He has totally random things he’s into but is unable to love.
As much as I do love your big challenge videos, this video just reminded me why I fell in love with your channel, exploring the city, going to cafes and restaurants, it felt so much like your videos from 2017-2019 and I loved it
ive watched you guys for 3.5 years now and you are my comfort people, when im sad or bored or even happy you guys always make me happier, and too see that you are travelling to my home conrad is INSANE 😭❤️! love you guys so much!

Love Nate Square's approach to travel. Really trying to connect with people, show them respect, learn a few phrases. Visiting a new country is like being invited to someone's home. Love it!
I spent few months in Bulgaria - I truly felt in love with this country. Had best time of my life and even did get a tattoo- just to keep memories alive everyday.
It's a trip to see you guys somewhere that I visited just recently. I went to all the same places (and a few others). I even got lost on the same sketchy road trying to drive to the ski lift 'cause google maps was wrong. You definitely made the right choice to explore the mountains instead of driving all the way to the beach, you would have spent two days in the car. If you go back to Bulgaria sometime I recommend Bansko, Plovdiv, Sozopol and Nessebar.
Ahh I’m so so happy you got to visit my home country! You saw some beautiful spots but there is so much more to see 😍 We’ve definitely got to go back together soon. My grandparents would love to host you and you have to try a shopska salad with homegrown tomatoes from their garden ❤️ Love you both!
I love that you two are such open and loving people, that you invite someone you've known for a few days, to tag along to another country! This is one of my favorite videos of yours!!!
This almost looked unreal...the scenery was amazing! The drive down the mountain was CRAZY!!! And not knowing the driver and not seeing a road AND the fact that it really wasn't a road...mind blown that you actually got down in one piece! 🤯Can't wait for the next adventure!!! Thank you for another amazing adventure. ❤
I was introduced to you both by watching an Eamon and Bec episode that you both were on. I went to your channel and have been hooked ever since. I started at your very first video and haven’t been able to stop. Keep it up you two.
You guys are so fun to watch! Kara pulling on random doors in back alleys of Sofia at midnight! That odd dinner at the monastery! The barely escaped walk down the mountain in a torrential downpour AND “blind”Jeep drive down the mountain. All awesome. Adventure at it’s finest and funniest. Well done Nathaniel for unexpectedly conquering your fear of heights on that ski lift ride!
Yay, finally! Bulgaria is actually the oldest country in Europe and it has never changed its name since 681. Bulgaria can be very challenging once you are out of Sofia because of the language. I really hope you go back, you need to go to Plovdiv, that’s the oldest city in Europe dating back 8000years ago and also one of the oldest in the world. There’s many more little towns to explore which are way more enjoyable than Sofia, which can be also cool if you are there with a local to take you to amazing restaurants. This is not the best food you have tried there, Bulgarian food is amazing, I hope you get to try it next time when you stay a bit longer. Go to a typical Bulgarian mehana with traditional Bulgarian music, which is one of a kind, you can also enjoy nestinari, people who dance barefoot on embers and through fire, it’s really cool performance to see. Ahh, I wish I was there to see you on the streets of Sofia, such a dream. Can’t wait for the next video and the adventure to the North Pole ❤️
I loved everything about this! I’m a fan of all your content, but a spontaneous trip with minimal planning is gold! It’s so entertaining and the best way to make memories! And Nathanial was great - travel with him more often!
As a long-time frequent traveler, I just want to tell you how much I love your videos. Whether you are roughing it or going first-class, the videos of your experiences are terrific. It is very obvious that neither of you take your experiences for granted and that you enjoy every minute. That is the whole goal of traveling! No matter how many trips we take, I still get a thrill every time we set off on a new adventure. My husband and I always say that we are heading off for a new walk-about! Thank you for sharing your adventures with all of us.
That monastery was one of the most beautiful and enchanting places I have ever seen in your travels. Absolutely breathtaking. I imagine you could really unwind and reboot at a place like that. The architecture. The scenery. It was all so stunning. Going there was a great decision!
I cannot believe you guys finally went to my home country. I’ve been watching you guys for the longest time and i’m so sad you guys weren’t able to go to the black sea. It’s crazy how other people find my home country fascinating! I love you guys!❤️
I watched the video only until the 3:02, but oh my gosh, you guys!!! I’m from Bulgaria and I’m soooooo excited about you going to our country!!! It might be quite a journey for you, knowing that there are a lot of.. let’s say “unusual” things in there. but hey, we have such a cultural heritage, we have the mountains and the sea, we are very welcoming and warm people (the most of us). Soooo, have fun you two. I hope you see the better side of Bulgaria and have a lot of fun. Aaand try Bulgarian yoghurt, honey, banitsa and all the fruits and vegetables that we have (especially the tomatoes!)
I just love the way you guys always show so much love and respect to each culture from their way of life, their foods and language. The people. Everything and everyone in general. It’s so refreshing. Even the way you are with eachother. May we all have our Kara or Nate in life and share the same respect for one another no matter who they are! Loveeee the travel vlogs. Happy to see you guys seeing other countries again!
You know as much as I have loved your content since the pandemic, there is something very different about your International Travel content. It just hits differently and your energy is so great. I for one wouldn’t mind if this is exclusively your future content. Unless of course the van makes a trans continental journey too !!!
You just made my day! So happy you made it to my beloved home country and that you had such an amazing adventure! Loved every second of it and Nathaniel was the perfect travel partner! Laughed through the whole video and have not stopped smiling since! Much love guys, keep doing what you’re doing! 🙌❤️🇧🇬
Your radio silence has been pure agony!! I am so excited you guys are traveling again, but I'm buzzing for the upcoming North Pole adventures. oooooomgsh!! xoxoxo ETA: 101 country vlog is off to a wonderful start and Nate squared is too cute. K. Back to watching.
As someone learning Russian and knowing the basics, this just showed me how much my pronunciation has skyrocketed 😆 Yall are part of the reason I'm learning, bc your videos (especially on Ukraine!) made me want to visit the former soviet countries & learn about their history before soviet rule.
I officially love Nathaniel. It feels like I'm on the trip, too. Getting an outsider to share in the escapades is a very interesting dynamic I would love to see again. Hopefully more Nathaniel in the future.
I watch and enjoy all your videos. I especially liked this video because it reminded me of how your videos used to be, more about the traveling to new and exotic places, and less about your own personal physical challenges. I'm looking forward to country #102.
I've been following you guys for years! It's been a dream to sit and watch your video and travel with you. Finally coming to Bulgaria and being so exited about it warmed my heart. I wish I could meet you and show you the real beauty hidden in my small country!
Nathaniel truly added another element to the vlogs, his personality is absolutely fantastic. I feel that even ANY 3rd person would be a great addition to a vlog, gives us another aspect to it. Of course love just both of you, but was a nice change of pace :)
I love Nathaniel ❤️. It is also amazing to see how your editing has evolved. I love how you combined the music with the editing, the changing of the shots with the accents in the music looked so smooth.
I absolutely love seeing you explore a new country! I forgot how much I missed this “throwback” style of video. One of the things that I fell in love with was watching you experience new cultures, foods & getting lost! Lol Love all your videos, but this one gave me all the feels. Love it! Congrats on 101! 🙌
As a bulgarian this video made me extremely proud and happy🥺. I'm glad that you saw the beautiful side of our country. About the idea to swim in the lakes... Good thing that you didn't, it's illigal and you can get a big fine ( Bear Grills made a video in that same spot, swam in the lakes and got fined 🤭 ). Again - great video. You are welcomed here again!! 🥰
Crazy to know that 7 out of the 10 countries you hadn't been to in Europe yet - I was lucky enough to visit them all while I lived in Germany.. And your experience in Sofia when you first got there I swear is most people's experience! Sketchy looking buildings, nice inside, hidden clubs - I remember we only knew where to go because we went in a group from the hostel we were staying in. Definitely loved seeing your trip as it brought back memories of my own ❤❤
This was a perfect video. Congratulations on your success! Thank you, truly, for all of the sacrifices and risks you took to create this channel and make it what it has become. It’s been an absolute joy in my life. Thank you!
This was so fun to watch! My husband and I have been watching since 2018 and this was almost like a fun throwback video in that it was spontaneous, little planning, an adventure, and the cheap food! Really brightened our evening. Cheers!
I noticed you visited Bosnia and Croatia so now I am watching those old vlogs. My family is from Bosnia and Croatia, would love to see you visit Sarajevo, Bosnia and Pula, Croatia sometime. My family lived in both but I was raised in America and I loved my visits there so much and think you should definitely visit again sometime. Sarajevo has so much beauty, history, abandoned Olympic structures from the 1984 winter Olympics, hiking, and much more. Pula has a lot of Roman structures leftover from the Roman emperor such as the Pula Arena similar to the Colosseum in Rome but smaller and more complete along with other Roman structures and beautiful beaches. Sofia also reminds me of Zagreb, Croatia! Very similar food with the pita/burek phyllo dish and we also have rakija!
Can we just take a minute to appreciate that macro shot of the bee exiting the flower 😻😻 The quality of the storytelling, Timelapses, and overall edit is just THROUGH THE ROOF. Getting better and better each video ❤️❤️ Sending love from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹🤗💙
Love the effort Kara and Nate has put in learning small Bulgarian phrases like - "Благодаря" (Thank you) "Здравей" (Hello) "Наздраве" (Cheers), - just like Nathaniel said "it's a sign of respect".
This was one of my favorite videos from you guys ever. Love having Nathaniel there to give us the inside scoop on what travels with you all is really like. PLUS he’s so funny.
I am so excited for you guys to go to serbia! I am serbian and so is my whole family, it is a very pretty place and so peaceful. A lot of little towns to go too, there’s no sharks or fishes in Serbia sometimes, you can get a little boat and go to Greece to where the fishes are no where to be seen. It’s amazing!
WOW! I didn't expect Bulgaria to be this beautiful, yall did a spectacular job at capturing its beauty! I now have to go see Bulgaria and stay at that monastery, it's so methodical and peaceful there. I can't wait for the Finland Video and I hope we can see more of Nate Squared on these vlogs! Love yall! #COUNTRY101
I am only 3 minutes in and I am so happy. I lived in Bulgaria for 2 years and I have been hoping for so long that kara and Nate would go. it means the world to me that my favored you tubers are going to a place I call home!
As an American who grew up in Bulgaria, it is absolutely crazy to see you go to all the places I've been around all my life. I hope you had a great trip!
The monastery looked absolutely incredible. So relaxing and peaceful. Definitely adding it to my travel list now. I loved the contrast between Sofia and the countryside and mountainsides. Also! I remember Kara watching a skillshare video about cinematography a while back and I noticed in this video how beautifully shot the moments were in the monastery... the sounds, the waterfalls, the nature, the architecture... everything just flowed and it looked gorgeous. Also loved Nathaniel being the third wheel! Ha. A great guy! 🤍
Thank you for visition my home city. I really hope you loved your stay and saw how hospitable bulgarians can be. The recommendations, the ride down from the mountain, even the dog that the owner let you play with. Hope you will visit Sofia again and get to spend more time in the city and see more from Bulgaria by visiting the other great cities and towns we have. Loving your content. It always makes me smile, it always brithens my day.
Is not often that a "guest" in a chanel just randomly shows and steals the spotlight in such an amazing way. He is honestly so fun and likeable! Feels like a long time friend of yours and besides from amazing the dynamics between all of you he seems like just a guy I genuinely want to know more about. Nathaniel, you've stolen my heart ❤️
You guys are so much fun to travel with!! It was such an honor to join this adventure, especially having followed your journey to 100 countries... never thought I'd be there for country #101. It was so fun to watch Kara and Nate squared. You fit in "like a dirty shirt" as they say!
What's your channel again?
It was a pleasure watching you and hearing your perspective on how they travel 😀 and now I have another person to watch 👍🤍
Nathaniel was such a funny person to add to the group. I think he should definitely be in the future videos. Love y’alls videos ❤️
agree with this
I third this statement!
Same, LOVE the addition of Nate #2!
I second that wholeheartedly! ☺️
I agree 100%.
Nathaniel's commentary for what Kara and Nate are doing and thinking throughout the video is like the best😂

As a Bulgarian and long time viewer of your channel its awesome you visited our little country :)
I’m from Bulgaria and I’ve been waiting for this video since I started watching you in 2019 (and I’ve watched all your videos since then). Seeing Kara and Nate in our country, experiencing the things that we experience daily... It makes you smile :)

I loved everything about this! I’m a fan of all your content, but a spontaneous trip with minimal planning is gold! It’s so entertaining and the best way to make memories! And Nathanial was great - travel with him more often!
I'm awestruck by the beauty of the Mountains. I loved the city you went to, Sophia??

As a long-time frequent traveler, I just want to tell you how much I love your videos. Whether you are roughing it or going first-class, the videos of your experiences are terrific. It is very obvious that neither of you take your experiences for granted and that you enjoy every minute. That is the whole goal of traveling! No matter how many trips we take, I still get a thrill every time we set off on a new adventure. My husband and I always say that we are heading off for a new walk-about! Thank you for sharing your adventures with all of us.
Nathaniel has been my favorite person who has guest starred on here in years! MORE NATE²!
That monastery was one of the most beautiful and enchanting places I have ever seen in your travels. Absolutely breathtaking. I imagine you could really unwind and reboot at a place like that. The architecture. The scenery. It was all so stunning. Going there was a great decision!
Nathaniel is awesome!! Seriously though this video was my favorite in a while, the ride down the mountain had me feeling like I was gonna die lol
I cannot believe you guys finally went to my home country. I’ve been watching you guys for the longest time and i’m so sad you guys weren’t able to go to the black sea. It’s crazy how other people find my home country fascinating! I love you guys!❤️
I say yes to having Nathaniel go on adventures with you. That was great.
I dated a Bulgarian girl for 4 years. Best relationship ever. I visited Sofia, Plovdiv, Bansko, Primorsko & Rakovski. Awesome time. Enjoy guys.
Nathaniel is so chaotic. I love him!
Yes! More of Nathaniel! We love this dude! Best third wheel ever!
For real - how cute is nathaniel?! Kinda crushing here. :)
That monastery was absolutely gorgeous!!!! I guess I am adding Bulgaria to my list of places that I want to go, esp. that monastery!!😁
Great to see this side of Nathaniel. This was one of the most fun vlogs I've seen from you guys, had just a big smile through the entire video
Oh, I've forgotten how much I miss Kara & Nate exploring new countries!
Nathaniel is so funny and a great personality. Gotta collab more with him!
Nathaniel's energy is infectious!
You just made my day! So happy you made it to my beloved home country and that you had such an amazing adventure! Loved every second of it and Nathaniel was the perfect travel partner! Laughed through the whole video and have not stopped smiling since! Much love guys, keep doing what you’re doing! 🙌❤️🇧🇬
This is the kind of Kara and Nate content that I love!!!
As someone learning Russian and knowing the basics, this just showed me how much my pronunciation has skyrocketed 😆
Yall are part of the reason I'm learning, bc your videos (especially on Ukraine!) made me want to visit the former soviet countries & learn about their history before soviet rule.

I officially love Nathaniel. It feels like I'm on the trip, too. Getting an outsider to share in the escapades is a very interesting dynamic I would love to see again. Hopefully more Nathaniel in the future.
So happy you finally made it to our beautiful country
We missed it as much as you missed it, guys! Can't wait for what's next.
P.S. Your cinematography at the monastery was out of this world!
Толкова се зарадвах, когато изтеглиха България🤩
You can't believe how happy I am you have finally visited my home! This is so exciting!! You guys are a true inspiration! Greetings from Bulgaria 🇧🇬
9:42 not a free eurovision promotion!!! WE LOVE TO SEE IT
This may be one of my favourite episodes yet! Loved the energy of it and the mix of history, culture, calm and chaos
I’m packed, let’s go, Bulgaria it is! Ahhh to live vicariously through the two of you! Thanks so much for always taking us along with you.
Can we just take a minute to appreciate that macro shot of the bee exiting the flower 😻😻
The quality of the storytelling, Timelapses, and overall edit is just THROUGH THE ROOF. Getting better and better each video ❤️❤️
Sending love from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹🤗💙
Love the effort Kara and Nate has put in learning small Bulgarian phrases like - "Благодаря" (Thank you) "Здравей" (Hello) "Наздраве" (Cheers), - just like Nathaniel said "it's a sign of respect".
LOVED seeing both Nates! Definitely have Nathaniel in more videos!! :) That trip down the mountain was...interesting.. lol
Nathaniel makes a great addition! Great and funny video. Always expect the unexpected and you’ll have more fun. 😄
12:22 this reminds me of some apartments in Portugal. Where the outside is falling apart, but the inside is pristine!
So fun to see you in a new country again! Felt like the “old” days. 😃
I lived in Bulgaria for 2 years and I have been hoping for so long that kara and Nate would go. it means the world to me that my favored you tubers are going to a place I call home!
ruclips.net/video/PONHWVlwkEw/видео.html
As an American who grew up in Bulgaria, it is absolutely crazy to see you go to all the places I've been around all my life. I hope you had a great trip!
Love this episode! Nathaniel should make more guest appearances!!! He was such a nice addition!!
Need more of Nathaniel Drew on this channel, he was so funny! Loved it!
This is one of the best videos ever. Please, please, PLEASE can you team up again with Nathaniel. The spontaneity is brilliant and made me so happy!
