What's frustrating is that SAF (sustainable aviation fuel) jets have been available for public purchase since 2018. SAF jets puts out 80% less carbon emissions that other PJs do. Hopefully soon there will be a movement to have celebrities make the switch soon

The point is to get people talking about climate change. No harm no foul. We need to have these conversations with our families and friends. What are we doing as individuals and as a collective to combat this issue? Both are important. It’s discouraging to wait for politicians, we need to continue to advocate for this. Keep talking about it.
Also, we need to question our own activities. Have introspection on our behavior. Overconsumption is something we all play a role in. We need to avoid behaviors that lead to overconsumption. (Im not coming out against people who cant afford/are unable to buy ethical food/clothes/etc; the problem is not that. The problem is overconsumption AKA buying and consuming more than you need)

It's frustrating when it's the ones doing the most who are quickest to preach about climate change. Do as I say not as I do. Personally I think climate change is a hoax, but I am completely on board for protecting the environment
The response to it has been overwhelmingly negative. There are better ways to bring about change/inspire productive conversations. This did virtually nothing. So performative imo. Fifteen mins of fame that will be quickly forgotten.

Even our police officer don’t face guns here in Ireland. I remember the first time I saw a gun in real life, I was in the parking lot of a church in American with my cousins and sister waiting on our moms, a guy pulls up beside us with a shot gun on his dashboard, I start to calming tell my sister and cousins to get on the floor and hide, my cousins were like ‘oh yeah no, people have guns here’ 😂
hey girlies, i’m a medical assistant at a dermatology office & assist with something called MOHS surgery (skin cancer removal surgery) i’ve seen people get skin cancers ANYWHERE. I’ve once removed a skin cancer on someone’s vagina! it’s so common especially with older people who use to use tanning beds religiously. it’s pretty crazy.
I’m so mad I tanned a lot in my early 20s. I had to get a pre cancerous *tiny* mole removed a few months ago and my scar is huge 😭 It looks like a keloid scar or whatever. I wish I would’ve known that one teeny mole could lead to an inch long gash on my leg. Thanks for what you do! 🙏🏼
@@haileyoslund yesss it was so common for everyone to use to slather on baby oil and tan omgggg 😅 you can try to ask your dermatologist about kenalog injections to help with the keloid and help flatten it out and make it look better babe 😁 my doc always recommends to firmly massage the scar everyday for a couple mins (if your derm hasn’t already done so) & thank you sm 🫶🏼🫶🏼
I had skin cancer on my boob, I was only 24/25 and never used tanning beds and was careful with sunscreen /:
@@nicixmarr honestly girl it may have been like maybe ONE time you getting a sunburn or even like running errands and thinking you don’t need sunscreen on cloudy days but those UV rays are so strong they can still get ya 😅 and sometimes you are more prone to them giving your skin tone or family history also!
As a doctor I can’t tell you how many times I yelled “NOOOOOOO!” at the perineum sunbathing section 😂

There is absolutely no reason why someone with JTs money drives drunk… call an uber, call a car service, get a taxi… I know that once drunk maybe he didn’t think about it, but if he knows he’s going out and will have a drink, plan a driver ahead of time…
The reason that Just Stop Oil do seemingly weird acts is to get as much attention and as many people talking about and thinking about the message. Fossil fuels are literally ending the world that we all live in, to the point that none of us or our children will be able to live in it at all if we don’t make a change now, especially when we have climate friendly alternatives available to us. The only thing stopping the change is the money being made, literally at the cost of the world and all life on it.
Yet people can only talk about it in relation to throwing flower at stones that have withstood multipieble floods and storms acting as if they are now "demaged"

the thing about stonehenge and the vandalism of taylor’s jet is it is showing the prioritization of material items. as much as we want to believe there is a better way to emit the message, asking nicely has never worked and history has consistently proven this.
Also the fact that whenever activist ingage in targeted meaningful activism like sabotaging oil drills and weapons manufacturing the media doenst want to report on it because you cant laugh at them as much as you can laugh about them throwing flower at stones, its also more defenseble and it makes the activists look good which again is bad for the people funding said media

In Florida if you refuse the breathalyzer it’s a misdemeanor charge and automatic DL suspension. My brother is in jail right now on a dui charge and he refused the breathalyzer. He got 15 days in jail 75 days house arrest and 18 months probation. He also has to have an interlock device on his vehicle. He left a bar and made a an illegal U-turn and was pulled over right away. He was heavily intoxicated but refused to blow. He definitely regrets refusing the breathalyzer but he is grateful that he didn’t hurt his self or someone else. Fines and court cost are around 10 k. Don’t drink and drive.
Colorado if you refuse it's a suspension then 1 year of interlock. Also fun fact breathalyzer test has to be done in a certain amount of time otherwise it will be a blood test. AND you have to fulfill other state obligations before getting your DL.
I live in Florida. I was pulled over for not signaling and was the DD on my way home from dropping my intoxicated friends off. Refused a breathalyzer and their field sobriety tests. They had no reason to suspect me of being intoxicated. It was principle to me. They arrested me for suspicion of drunk driving. Blew a 0.00 at the jail. Got a lawyer and paid a couple hundred bucks. Could have saved a couple hundred dollars by just taking the breathalyzer. But it's principle. Charges were dropped and I never had to go to court. My license is not suspended. You do not have to consent to a breathalyzer in Florida. They'll likely take you to jail, but if you're sober you have nothing to worry about. Call an uber or lyft if you're intoxicated.
Don't drink and drive. It's awful, it hurts you, your family and friends and could really hurt other people.

Sorry so many comments but yeah the climate stuff is scary. I don't get how people deny it's a thing... Here in Texas several of our top 10 hottest years have just been in the last 12 years or so. It's been horrible here. Hottest days last year being over 110°F several days of the year in dallas fort worth area when we usually aren't THAT hot. I can't imagine it getting hotter. Our power grids are barely handling it already
Because they've been saying it for years and years and years and the temperatures have always fluctuated. We need to put the emphasis on protecting the environment instead of climate change, which is controversial.
@@kimmiegirl810 yeah duh temps always fluctuate, but when the year overall is hotter than normal for most of the US for most the last many years compared the like 50 years or even when we were kids, the Arctic ice is all melting, sea levels are consistently rising for years now, alot of places that used to get snow when we were kids no longer does or gets very little, something is wrong. Like even since when I first moved down here to DFW from Tennessee in summer of 2008 it would snow between 4"-12" every single year, but since as recently as about 2015 it no longer does. We are lucky to in any year get more than an inch or 2. Much less 4 inches or more. Only time we have was Feb 2021 and that was a weird month in general and it was really all in like 2 days of that month. Otherwise we had 0 snow or ice

I live in Central Florida now. Temperatures are higher. Also pulled up the historical data on temps.Temps. 2023 was the hottest on record since 1895. Our average temp for 2023 was 73.4 F which is 3.2 degrees above the 20th century average. But comparing the 2023 average heat over each of the 12 months is very similar to 30 year averages each month (1991-2020). 2024 has been incredibly hot in Florida, at least in the Tampa Bay area. For several days we were in the high 90s in June and expected to keep with the heat through August.
My point is that climate change is real. It's not always evident by the weather local to you. We should be concerned about climate change and our environment and stop politicizing science.

resident goth seshie here, in my opinion concealer on the eyelids as primer is absolutely necessary to keep my black eyeshadow in place. i also can't live without setting spray, makes everything last a lot longer. case in point, went to pride and sweat all day and didn't have to touch up once.
I always use concealer rather than primer. Primer works but the edges wear down but concealer stays on and brightens the eye shadow more.

Just Stop Oil are really problematic in the UK. They’ve been known to sit in the road and block emergency vehicles path. They’re even known for being incredibly nasty and refusing to move when people try to move them out the way for the emergency vehicles to be able to go on their way

In Paris, we are having a generally cold summer so I don't know if the ACs are going to be used. The things they are trying to renovate ahead of the Olympics have been suprising, including trying to clean the Seine River that goes through the city. They want people to swim in it for the Olympics. Imagine swimming where people peed, vomited, ebikes and scooters are thrown in...
it’s more worrying that they were able to break into the damn airport like i get the cut their way in but you would think there’s some kind of sensors that alert people that people have come inside, i swear i saw a jet open behind them it’s just scary people could get behind the plane or hide on it somehow

Janelle-I can totally relate to being irritated w makeup !! No matter if it’s drugstore or $60 foundation, if I use setting spray or primer, my makeup looks horrible. I have better luck not wearing any at all. Try a tinted moisturizer though! I’ve tried a couple and liked them a lot
I think they only targeted stone henge as it’s ironic that people get so angry over a beautiful monument that was only sprayed with cornflour but don’t have any outrage for the planet being literally burned alive

I used to own prairie dogs as pets, i had 2 of them and they passed a few years ago from old age (they dont live very long) but they are very similar to chipmunks
