I once had a patient who hadn't pooped in like a week and FINALLY after giving her laxatives and all sorts of enemas, she went to the bathroom and it was TWO long pieces that had literally fallen into the toilet in the shape of an X! When she finished she asked me if she had gone alot (she was an older lady) and hadnt looked in the toilet yet and when i looked i wanted to laugh about the "x" so i told her, "oh you went alright, x def marks the spot" LOL

I took a poop once and when I got done I was literally shocked that it had been inside me! I’m a little thing 5’2 and was only 115-120lbs at the time. I told my then boyfriend “I can’t believe that was all in me, I don’t know where my body held all this!” He laughed the rest of the night and even had to tell his friend because it was so funny. I still haven’t had a poop rival it to this day. It remains the greatest poop of my life.
Wow, the, "hard to pass stool" stories are bringing back awful memories and feelings! I had an opiate addiction AND hardly ate or drank for months. So having compacted stools was happening to me quite often. I have a top 5 that gives me nightmares! My number 1 worst one was the result of not going for a solid month. One day I felt like I had to go all of the sudden, mixed with stomach cramps. I rarely felt that sensation, as I barely went number 2. So this feeling started happening all day, periodically, for 4 days longer. Every time I attempted to go resulted in squirming, sweating and twisting.. But nothing. I would sit there struggling for an hour at a time. So one awful night, I had my bf run to the store to acquire a list of items; lube, gloves, oral laxatives, 2 boxes of fleet enemas, Metamucil and Miralax. I put on the gloves, applied the lube like crazy and used the 1st enema. O-M-G. It was so absolutely painful that my heart started racing and I started to cry. The enema caused it to FORCE it's way further than I had ever gotten pushing on my own and the lube allowed for some good give and it was basically forcing it's way out against my will. I realized the compaction was wider than anything I had ever passed before and was not possible for me to push out. I realized the enema was forcing even more from the back to push against this massive ball of compaction and I was potentially in danger at this point, if I didn't act. So I lubed up my hands and tried digging and maneuvering the compaction around.. I could feel it was HUGE and not going to break apart, as it was one solid mass. This is also incredibly difficult to do, while your body is actively trying to go.. Your feeling so much pain and it's almost impossible to think clearly and put your fingers in there. After pushing, crying, sweating and struggling... I was ultimately forced to stand up from the pain of it forcing it's way out and then immediately brought down to my knees in a squatting position.. I leaped into the bathtub with the lube and used my hands to pull and continue pushing while squatted in the tub.. It WAS easier to get SOMETHING out. With a scream, push, pull and my body twisting and contorting.. I finally got the ball out. I involuntarily screamed, "FUCKKK" while whimpering and fell forwards. It absolutely wrecked me and my tush.. I looked down at this MASSIVE thing.. It was the size (in width) of two coke cans. It's length was like a shampoo bottle. I could NOT believe, me, at 5'8 and 119lbs had gotten this out. It was completely solid, dense and this hard clay-like matter. Imagine multiple stools compacted into one large mass - I had never gone number 2 normally, so my usual stools were like deer pellets; This making a rounded shape, whenever I went. As well as dry and clay-like, so all of these had compacted into this giant ball. Which is why passing it was nearly impossible, I definitely should have gone to the ER for this, but wanted to handle it at home (all things considered) and somehow DID pass it. Not without the help of my hands and squatting in the tub, though. The lube and gloves were a huge plus in making this happen. My bf rushed to the door, knocking and shouting my name. As I screamed so loud, he thought I nearly did myself in. He asked if he could come in and was trying to force the door open. I was kind of in shock, sitting there staring at the mass.. My bf had been playing my favorite songs outside the door as I struggled to go. This had been something we were constantly trying to solve for days in a row. I think we both knew the enema WOULD do something for this problem. So he did his best to distract me. I finally let him in and his face was, "😮😱". Pure shock! I had definitely wrecked my tush, I bled a LOT and the mass was covered in it at it's end. He cried a bit, with his hand on the side of his head. We DID take pictures.. And a video. Why? I do not know, I genuinely think the size and pure mass was too shocking not to and I definitely needed to show this to my best friend. It was such an experience, that my heart was racing just typing this out. It absolutely terrified me to try and go again. For WEEKS afterwards. As I then had the task of trying to go and more frequently with the help of Miralax, but had insane fissures after this experience. For those who do not know, fissures are tears and cuts in the lining of your anus. There was MORE compaction that I had not passed, so I had to do more enemas and scream it out through having these fissures. It was so painful and scary, that every time I knew I'd have to go from the miralax working.. I would panic. It did damage to my tush that is still there today. I actually have an indentation down there, from passing that monster. Every time I'm cleaning in the shower, I feel it. Oh god. Just, word from the now-stool-wise, do NOT take constipation lightly. I'm so lucky I did not rupture something. I was lucky I had passed it, but man.. The days following, with fissures that took seemingly forever to heal.. It brings on the heart racing fear, just thinking about it and I always incorporate high fiber and Miralax in my daily routine. As I still never go regularly. The top 1 in my top 5 worst list was so traumatizing in size.. I cannot believe it. I'm glad I have images as a reminder of the hard days from my past!

I had started to recover from severe trauma before covid, and sadly over time the exposure therapy I had to get me outside my house drifted and faded, I now am stuck inside 99% of the time and only spend time with my partner as my family live hours or countries away, you guys help me feel less alone and I can’t thank you enough for it.
I've never laughed so hard at an episode. This was the funniest shit! Thank you for that 😂😂🤣💀 PS. I was a shy pooper. I used to hold it forever. My family figured out what I was doing when I stood still and wouldn't move because they knew that if I did, I would shit myself. Also, for the longest time, I couldn't poop unless I was naked. At the risk of making myself sick retelling this story, I feel like I should since this topic rarely comes up lol. Apologies in advance, skip if you're squeamish. When I was a kid, there were a few weeks where I would hear some random buzzing in my right ear. It would come and go but was happening consistently for a while. Then, one day I felt something in my ear. It's like it was just stuck in my ear canal and I could feel a bit of it sticking out. I kept trying to get it out with my fingers for what must have been a few hours. Eventually, it just fell out of my ear onto the floor. I looked down and it was a live fucking earwig literally running across my floor. I've always been really scared of bugs and honestly until that very moment I had no clue whatsoever that the buzzing was coming from a bug. Seriously traumatic honestly. Anywho, sorry to everyone who read that through to the end lol.
That’s one of my biggest fears. I woke up with a lady bug in my nose once as a kid, definitely not as traumatic as yours. I am not a fan of bugs either 😂

I went to camp when I was younger, and we went out pretty far into the wilderness to the point where we didn’t have running water. Our “bathroom” was called The Palace and it was basically a hole in the ground that NEVER got emptied and they just put lye down it to break down the poop. Well, one thing about me: bathrooms have ALWAYS grossed me out. It’s borderline a phobia. Needless to say, I didn’t poop for the whole week we were there. We also had a 13 hour ride home and I STILL didn’t poop. I’ll never forget the feeling of finally getting home to a real bathroom. My stomach was so bloated I looked pregnant and it was hard as a rock. I probably lost 8lbs too😂😂

My bf rushed to the door, knocking and shouting my name. As I screamed so loud, he thought I nearly did myself in. He asked if he could come in and was trying to force the door open. I was kind of in shock, sitting there staring at the mass.. My bf had been playing my favorite songs outside the door as I struggled to go. This had been something we were constantly trying to solve for days in a row. I think we both knew the enema WOULD do something for this problem. So he did his best to distract me.
I finally let him in and his face was, "😮😱". Pure shock! I had definitely wrecked my tush, I bled a LOT and the mass was covered in it at it's end. He cried a bit, with his hand on the side of his head. We DID take pictures.. And a video. Why? I do not know, I genuinely think the size and pure mass was too shocking not to and I definitely needed to show this to my best friend.
It was such an experience, that my heart was racing just typing this out. It absolutely terrified me to try and go again. For WEEKS afterwards. As I then had the task of trying to go and more frequently with the help of Miralax, but had insane fissures after this experience. For those who do not know, fissures are tears and cuts in the lining of your anus. There was MORE compaction that I had not passed, so I had to do more enemas and scream it out through having these fissures. It was so painful and scary, that every time I knew I'd have to go from the miralax working.. I would panic. It did damage to my tush that is still there today. I actually have an indentation down there, from passing that monster. Every time I'm cleaning in the shower, I feel it.
Oh god. Just, word from the now-stool-wise, do NOT take constipation lightly. I'm so lucky I did not rupture something. I was lucky I had passed it, but man.. The days following, with fissures that took seemingly forever to heal.. It brings on the heart racing fear, just thinking about it and I always incorporate high fiber and Miralax in my daily routine. As I still never go regularly.
The top 1 in my top 5 worst list was so traumatizing in size.. I cannot believe it. I'm glad I have images as a reminder of the hard days from my past!

I had started to recover from severe trauma before covid, and sadly over time the exposure therapy I had to get me outside my house drifted and faded, I now am stuck inside 99% of the time and only spend time with my partner as my family live hours or countries away, you guys help me feel less alone and I can’t thank you enough for it.

At the risk of making myself sick retelling this story, I feel like I should since this topic rarely comes up lol. Apologies in advance, skip if you're squeamish. When I was a kid, there were a few weeks where I would hear some random buzzing in my right ear. It would come and go but was happening consistently for a while. Then, one day I felt something in my ear. It's like it was just stuck in my ear canal and I could feel a bit of it sticking out. I kept trying to get it out with my fingers for what must have been a few hours. Eventually, it just fell out of my ear onto the floor. I looked down and it was a live fucking earwig literally running across my floor. I've always been really scared of bugs and honestly until that very moment I had no clue whatsoever that the buzzing was coming from a bug. Seriously traumatic honestly. Anywho, sorry to everyone who read that through to the end lol.
That’s one of my biggest fears. I woke up with a lady bug in my nose once as a kid, definitely not as traumatic as yours. I am not a fan of bugs either 😂

I went to camp when I was younger, and we went out pretty far into the wilderness to the point where we didn’t have running water. Our “bathroom” was called The Palace and it was basically a hole in the ground that NEVER got emptied and they just put lye down it to break down the poop. Well, one thing about me: bathrooms have ALWAYS grossed me out. It’s borderline a phobia. Needless to say, I didn’t poop for the whole week we were there. We also had a 13 hour ride home and I STILL didn’t poop. I’ll never forget the feeling of finally getting home to a real bathroom. My stomach was so bloated I looked pregnant and it was hard as a rock. I probably lost 8lbs too😂😂

And to top it off, we used to sit outside with my neighbors in the summer and my Dad would lay on the floor in the living room while watching TV and one night he farted so loud that we heard it all the way across the street!😂😂😂😂 That is some heavy power dude !!
