To sum it up, a dream about getting stabbed can represent your fears of betrayal or feeling vulnerable. Cold water you will receive good news regarding childbirth or that someone is trying to harm you. Dreaming about jumping implies significant changes are afoot in your waking life. A zombie dream might be telling you that something is out of control in your life and it is making you feel very anxious or fearful. Being chased is also anxiety and fear.

As someone in their late 30s who deeply feared turning 30, I can tell you that something weird happens in this decade and you really come into yourself as a person in many ways. Most of my friends have found the same thing. You also really and truly stop caring what anyone thinks of you, regardless of who they are. So look forward to it! Your 30s are a time to thrive. Besides it’s 2023, 30s are the new 20s

I'm 24, I have a lot of friends (plus an older sibling) who are 30+. Everything they've said about their 30s being astronomically better than their 20s makes me excited to get older

my mom always tells me something a patron at the store she managed told her the day before her 30th birthday: “one year older is a hell of a lot better than the alternative”. i’m still a baby, i just turned 22 a few weeks ago, but that sentiment definitely always helps me realize time never standing still is a blessing rather than a curse

my 20s were ridiculous and wild and fun and my 30s have been UNIMAGINABLY cooler than that. aging is weird and awesome. hearing people dread aging just lets me know that they havent done it yet lol.

This pregnant momma who’s husband couldn’t turn off the lights…I would be furious!!! The first few months of my pregnancy have been rough. I couldn’t even step foot in the kitchen because I would throw up. It was awful!!! I couldn’t have survived without my husband. He works a full time job. Plus has a part time. He would get home. Cook, help me clean (dishes, trash and things that would gross me out) help me with the kids. Anything to help me make things easier!!! He has been amazing!!! I feel bad for all these woman having babies with immature jerks!

Another valid point for the AITA about the wine night and kids: some people might not feel comfortable drinking around kids, or being around kids when alcohol is involved because they don't feel comfortable with a child in that setting. Because that's a very adult type of event in my opinion.
Also I'm not sure where OP is from but some places it's illegal for all adults to be drinking when a child is present. In case of an emergency and someone has to drive. The charge I think is child endangerment or something similar. I also don't think she's an ahole, at all.

I have chills. August 19th I legit had that SAME dream in the hallways of a school campus down to the pale skin and black eyed people. Literally word for word the same thing. The only difference in mine was i went to the restroom and apparently jumped in the toilet down a whirlpool and ended up on a football field 🙆🏼♀️

that second aita story is almost word for word what my ex said when i was pregnant. I stayed with him until our daughter was almost 6. no matter what i did it was never enough even tho our daughter also has special needs and he wasn't even working or doing anything the last year of our relationship. i have been much happier since leaving him and i recommend she do the same. thanks for another hilarious and amazing podcast girls✌(sorry i didn't use any capitalization)

My partner was all in when I miraculously fell pregnant, and I was terrified of him leaving and how I'd handle parenting alone, and I literally used to ask everyday if he was sure he would always stick around, and he always said yes, but there was always some hesitation, and the second my precious beautiful son started showing signs of autism, he was GONE, all the way across the country.
Just wanna say it's hard, and we rarely get any credit for the hard work we do, even though we do it because we adore our children and would do anything for them, but I just wanted to say you're a star 🌟🌟🌟

That mama’s boy who can’t get up to turn the lights off is actually wrong about everything and shame on his parents for raising him with a warped mindset. We are actually much better mothers when the other parent steps in and helps. i have been interpreting and studying dreams for more than half my life and imo, it comes across as anxiety and feeling helpless, like you’re trying your best and outside forces are troubling you, there may be a fear or hesitation to ask for outside help bc you don’t trust others opinions, also that you’re choosing growth or rebirth through painful transitions. i have nightmares more often than not so i feel your pain! y’all should do a video on dreams! bc there’s also a phenomenon called dream world or dream land where people dream consecutively about the same location and build relationships and lives (i have done this for years too)
i know someone who has consecutive dreams each night like what you describe (it happens most nights, but not all! sometimes they have regular dreams). they dream about their anime husband lol. /s

Janelle, I have the same issues with dreaming. I basically only have nightmares, and my dreams are very vivid and feel real. My doctor said they are part of my anxiety disorder. She called them anxiety induced nightmares. Sometimes I wake up mid anxiety attack from them. What's helped me is smoking 🍃 literally RIGHT before bed. The last thing I do. It cuts back on the REM cycle and sends you faster into the deep sleep, where you don't dream. I rarely ever dream now that I've gotten into that habit!

Showering 3 times a week is what I do. I wash my hair ever other shower. Now, of course, if I’m really active and have been sweating, I’ll definitely take an extra shower.
I only shower 1-2/wk and get complimented on my smell and hair all the time. I always find it hilarious when someone that is obsessive on people showering everyday compliments my smell, and then don’t believe me when I tell them I don’t shower daily lmao
I do wash my face everyday and will occasionally wipe down areas like my armpits with a wet cloth in between showers/baths. But if I’ve been more active or did something to actually get dirty then I’ll definitely take an extra shower. It’s a more a matter of if I *feel* like I need to be cleaned up.
My hair also thick and goes pass my waist, I don’t have time to let it dry out everyday; it literally takes all day because I avoid heat tools lmao
Even if I wrap it up and wear a shower cap it will still get steamed and make my hair feel/look worse than if I hadn’t showered.
It just depends on who you are. I live in Florida where it’s always humid and hot and I smell bad after a long day so I have to shower every single day. Wash my hair twice a week though.

Janelle I have had very strange dark dreams like that as well and have no idea why or what they mean, its an awful feeling having nightmares. And Corelly I have had that same feeling where the dreams feel so Real and they make it feel like it actual happened. Lastly, Sydney omg girl I relate heavy about the lash nap jolting😂 I always gets so embarrassed too LOL!!! Fair to say thank you for making me feel less alone on these weird situations lol. I'm 43 and the last 3 years have been the best time! I am loving my 40s.
My aunt had a dream years ago that my dad got struck by lightening and somehow it stuck as a real memory. She brought it up in conversation and was surprised when we told her he didn’t actually get struck by lightening 😅
Comment for the AITA of the woman who was pregnant and her husband expected her to take the full mental load. I'm in the process of watching this 20 weeks pregnant with my first child and my husband came in and listened to that story and said "sounds like he's a baby back bitch" which made my heart so happy. I'm so proud to have a man who sees me as an equal and a partner in life and parenthood. He helps me whenever he can because he knows how hard pregnancy is on a woman as he has an 11 yr old from a previous marriage.
I feel so sorry for this woman and that was definitely a conversation they needed to have before they decided to have a child. Alot of people don't realize how most men were raised by boomer parents where the husband worked all day and was uninvolved with the children's every life and the wife was expected to take care of the house and the children and make sure the house was clean and dinner was made when the husband came home.

To dreamed about being stabbed is betrayal from someone close, distrust, anxiety, or forging obstacles, to be in a school setting is a clear sign that you need to move forward in life, seize every opportunity to learn new things, and become qualified for new things to grow mature etc, Blenders are a symbol of how we can create harmony from these so far sounds like needing to make peace with something going on in your life and move forward
Since there is a subreddit for the sesh, maybe we could use it to post aita or other stories in it and then whenever you feel like doing a video on these you could look trough it?
That way everyone would have the chance to be featured, even if they miss your post :)

Listen I shower about twice a week and no one would ever know. I don't stink. When I was younger I needed to shower every day. I think a lot more people shower less than we think because it's just not talked about.

Hey ladies I'm a dream fiend I love hearing about them and trying to interpret them so I read a lot of books about it and here's some stuff I found for y'all specifically;
Stabbing-Being stabbed symbolizes vulnerability - Feeling like you're being stabbed in a dream can be a sign that you're feeling vulnerable in waking life.
Being chased- anxieties in waking life you may be trying to avoid or a situation you're running away from or it may be time to face a problem head on.
Zombies-Running from zombies can mean you’re running from your problems. A horde of zombies chasing you usually symbolizes real-life issues that you aren’t facing or addressing. These issues are likely causing you stress, but something is stopping you from taking them on. Also, talks a lot about big life events and times of transformation etc.
School-Dreaming about school points to feelings of inadequacy and anxieties about your ability. If you are no longer in school, such dreams may point to unresolved childhood issues. The dream may also reflect a life lesson that you need to learn.
Car-To see a parked car in your dream suggests that you need to turn your efforts and energies elsewhere. You may be needlessly spending your energy in a fruitless endeavor. Alternatively, a parked car may symbolize your need to stop and enjoy life.

Regarding the dream, I wonder if some of the physical sensations were manifesting in your dream while irl you were in pain from your arms falling asleep under you, or you were clenching your muscles, etc.
Oh, and lastly, the blender represents change. Anything that goes in the blender will change. You just bought a house and are getting married, and turning 29. That’s a lot. A lot of times our bad dreams/nightmares can simply represent trauma we’ve experienced in our lives, as well as internal insecurities/anxieties.
I can relate so much to janelle with the bad dreams all the time, I can remember one that felt so real, it was just after a friend of mine passed and I was running through this apartment and when I got to the suite his mom and sister was there and we were all crying because he was no longer with us and then he walked into the room and just said “guys I’m not dead” and then I woke up.

The way to fix the child at wine night problem is to NOT censor yourself around the child. If the parent doesn't like it, they can realize the error of their ways and leave. I'm a parent who doesn't expect anyone to cater to my kid, and it baffles me when people do. If my kid has to accompany me to a "date" with friends, he's taking his Switch and headphones and he's ignoring us lol.
The dream: it’s possible you’re running away from something internally; there may be something you’re suppressing or denying. The more you try to escape what is right in front of you, the more you self sabotage (aka, the blender). Omg some of my worst and repetitive nightmares are very similar to your dream story about school. Sometimes I can’t find classes. Or the classes keep changing and I feel like I need to leave and I can’t figure out how to get out and all the other kids are super mean.
Mine is similar but where I find out I didn't actually graduate high school because there was 13th grade that I didn't complete and they make me go back at my current age (34) lol

In general, especially for me because I'm highly susceptible to Psychic energy and stuff, about a week before the full moon, my sleep and dream's are insane, but ESPECIALLY when it's a blue moon, or some other "fancy" kind of moon, and it drives me crazy.

I remember being scared of getting older at 26, it really hit me I wouldn’t be young for that long. Now at 34 though, I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed my thirties way more then my twenties and I give less f*^%s lol. I’m no longer afraid of aging and embrace it. Also, love that Kendall and Josh spent time in Tahoe. My backyard basically, as I’m in Reno!Love our cold blue lake and glad they got to vacation there.

Janelle! (I hope I spelled that correctly) I have endless ptsd dreams/nightmares and what you described sounds similar to some dreams/nightmares I have.
At the base, and my interpretation is that there is some unprocessed trauma that you are running from/ignoring/not paying attention to. Something that is begging to be dealt with.
And potentially a lack of safety in some situations.
The more I listen to the sesh the more I feel like I really relate to you so I hope this helps at all.

I know sometimes aging can be scary especially for someone who fears death. But think of it as a blessing that you are one of the fortunate ones who woke up this morning. Many don’t make it to thirty. As someone who worked in the funeral industry for years, I now view aging as a blessing.

My understanding of work husband and wife is that they worl so often together, everyday, that they are pretty much married and partnered at work. My dad had a work husband because he was an electrician and his "husband" was a mechanic. They were "married" because to do the job, you need both of those skills
I had a horrible dream last year on my birthday that my husband died. I woke up at 3 am crying and the entire year I was freaked out. It sucked being anxious about it for a whole year

I had a dream once in high school that Harry styles died and the band made a really sad video to inform the public of what happened. I woke up crying and immediately went to text my friend until I realized… 😂
I had a dream once that a witch was burning my hand and it really effing hurt!! I woke up in pain, and realized my hand was under my body and blood was obviously not flowing properly so I couldn't move it and it hurt a lot. Eventually everything went back to normal. I think it was my brain's idea to create this dream so I would wake up and let blood flow back to my hand.

The post about the wife and her husband Jake is so sad. He is talking to her as if it’s going to be all of her responsibility to take care of their child. It’s his child too? Why is it out of the question that he should bear some of the responsibilities? He’s accusing her of being unfit and weak when at the first sign of a fight he goes and runs off to his mother. Truly a sad situation and it sounds to me like Jake clearly does not want to be a father or a husband. I hope they can work it out but it’s not looking good

Y’all definitely right about having a gut feeling when you think something is wrong, last time I had this feeling was when MY apple watch would not stop going off, even though it was MY OWN APPLE WATCH, I just left it alone, wasn’t bothered by it at first, then my stomach just sank and I just had a feeling…5 mins later I found out my ex girlfriend was having a full on affair behind my back, (her messages were coming through my Apple Watch, so I saw IT ALL] very lovey dovey, asking the new girl on dates, admitting they love each other etc …we were together for 5 years and was about to get a place together after house sharing for 2 years. I was 15 when we met, I’m now 21 and this all came out last December. Moral of the story if you have a gut feeling, go for it 🙃

Janelle this is about your nightmare: I struggle with intense, graphic, and vivid nightmares and have for a long time. While I have no idea what they mean ( I wish I did….at least I think lol) I have found that dreams where you can experience things like pain, touch, taste, smell etc. is a state of dreaming called epic dreaming. Which is a state above lucid dreaming. It’s a very high state of dream. I have all my senses in my nightmares and dreams. If I am being harmed such as stabbing or burning or getting body parts removed, I can feel it. It’s extremely painful. Sometimes I also hurt when I wake up in the spots I was hurting in my dreams. Now whether that is is having a normal ache in our body while we sleep that our brain makes up a “ reason” for, I’m unsure. I’m still trying to learn about my sleep as well. I’m sorry you experience unsettling nightmares/dreams. I just wanted to inform you of epic dreaming as I had only heard of lucid up till recently. It is possible your pain may have come from that?

A friend of mine had a really bad cold in her sinuses and she is an esthetician so it made her job super awkward. This was before Covid.
So she was shaping and tinting her clients brows and leaning over her when all of a sudden her sinuses started to drain and before she could do anything her snot dropped into her clients eye!! She apologized to her client and of course she lied about what it was but she was positively mortified
From that point on if she ever had a cold she would wear a mask while working with a client

some things in dreams feel so real. often times sad things happen in my dream where i wake up crying and sobbing in real life because i was crying in my dream…
Usually bad dreams are your body trying to wake you up because something is wrong. Like if your blanket is suffocating you or if your hands are in a painful position.

Personally, I dont like people complimenting things about myself that I can't control. Lips, eyes, legs, etc. What I do find as a genuine compliment are things like "I love the way you did your make up today!" "That outfit looks amazing!" "I like your new hair color/style !"
Maybe it’s just me but there is nothing better at the end of the day than getting a nice warm shower with my favorite soap, drying off with a nice big bath towel, and getting in my pjs and curling up in my bed. I look forward to showering every evening. For 10-15 mins (depending on if I have to shave) nobody bothers me, I can listen to a podcast or some music and wash away all the nasty shit from the day. It’s peaceful and gets me ready to go to sleep. I think I would lose my damn mind if I didn’t shower every day. Also, I unfortunately live in FL right now and if you go out to your mailbox you need a shower so there’s that lol.
