I lost my s**t at 3:45 when I recognized those two silhouettes!!!! I’ve watched the most recent episodes of Golden Wind and couldn’t believe I didn’t recognize them! Ciccolatta and Secco were the ones who had Sorbet and Gelato killed!!! Ciccolatta is the one with the bloody blade while Secco is that hunched second figure in the back, probably recording the whole thing!!! This must’ve been before Diavolo realized they were too much and fired them. They were his personal executioners for those who stepped out of line!!! Heck, Ciccolatta probably got permission from Diavolo for Secco to record by convincing him he needed proof of their targets’ deaths when really, Ciccolatta just wanted to view those things over and over again.
I love these kinda Stand guessing videos! Not exactly the same thing, but something I think could be really interesting is what would each Stand in Part 3 be named for as a musical reference? Like if Araki had decided to use musical references for Stands from the start, as opposed to the Tarot first.

At least one of their Stands should be an offensive type, or capable of offence. It's weird that two Stand users who specializes in intel gets put in a group consisting of hitmen. At least one of them must be capable of causing damage (even minor attacks such as Moody Blues' punches). My bet is that Gelato's stand specializes in information gathering while Sorbet's stand finishes off witnesses or targets. Kinda make sense when you think about Cioccolata and Secco choosing to slice up Sorbet, because they knew Gelato couldn't do a thing with his stand.
I really enjoyed this. I love the amount of thought you put into these two and I've never seen someone talk about these two as much as you have. I'd love to see more in-depth guesses about about stands of characters without them (on screen).

As it is a byproduct of the stand and not the stand itself, damage caused to it won't be transferred over to its user. The user won't be able to control other stands although they may be used by the brainwashed target towards the user's goal.
God your stands are honestly amazing. You dont just take a cool song or a cool power, you create a theme and design for a stand that takes so little but feels like it's cannon from how well thought out it is
Gelato stands remind me of a homemade Stan I made called “ just want to have fun”. That’s an informational type it’s in the shape of a camera want to take the photo it comes out like a Polaroid and after it develops The stand user knows the person stand and stats no it Hass to have a clear picture of the persons face and the stand has the same endurance of a camera so one Punch could probably break it and break the users arm

States: C in destructive power C in speed B in range D in durability A in precision A in developmental It:s a medium range stand that looks to be a tall figure with a slender frame and camera parts fused in it's body with it's right eye having a video camera lids and the left having a regular camera and buttons all over it's body. Ability: It can allow Hayato to see any video or photo at any angle he wishes by hopping into it, looking for any detail and focus at will when he notices this. But doing so keeps it from doing anything other then move around area and can not defend him in any way when it's using this power.
Want You sounds pretty fascinating in all the possible flaws it could have. If the piece of evidence is damaged, how would it look if Sorbet entered to it? What would happen if the memory is not well remembered by its owner? Etc, etc
The fact that he can't move while hes using his stand become more interesting when you remember that he was cut in peaces one by one and fell most of it, this becomes even easier with an inmobile person

the most we see him do is collection for crime on the street corner he patrols, that's not something you probably would see a capo, assassin, elite guard, or maybe even a gang leader might do (he doesn't even try to use a stand either, just his shovel). Plus, the boss only cared about Luca's death in that it felt like an insult, he couldn't care less about Luca dying and ordered it himself implying he was either unimportant or the boss just fdlt waiting for him to heal from a wound like that would be idiotic. None of these say he's important or not on their own, but this is almost all the info we have past the list of capos from the Passione structure chart which tells us he likely wasn't a capo at least (though again that seems common sense for him not to be for varying reasons)

[ Modern English ] (the band that made: I'll Stop the World and Melt With You) Power: D Speed: D Range: E Durability: A Potential: D Precision: C It only truly activates when the two of them are within eyeshot of each other. Sorbet as the head of the Stand, while Gelato has the floating torso.And what it does is that it has the ability to melt any object either of them touch into water and revert it back again instantaneously. However, the melting process is slow, and the object will only melt as fast as an ice cube in the palm of your hand. They both use it as a Stand to smuggle weapons, equipment, letters, and phones for La Squadra. Or, when they're assassinating, by turning objects into water and tricking their target into drinking it, so it'll rip them apart from the inside out after they deactivate the effects. The head gives the user the melting ability, but the torso has the reverting ability. Head belongs to Sorbet, and Gelato, the torso.
Want You Requiem + Chained to You Requiem: Sorbet can now change the past through the gate, instead of being just a spectator, creating this way an alternate timeline, granted he used a picture from Gelato (who can now enter the portal as well). The picture now allows for both of them to travel between the timelines, using information gathered in one to decide the next step on the other and vice-versa. Idk, I think it would be fun to have two Requiems which need each other's ability to be complete, and I think they are the perfect characters for that
Theres a fanfic on ao3 called "bespoke" and its mostly about rookie cop abbacchio and how he gets to know the entire gang before joining them and has a fantastic plot, like a prequel to vento aureo with lots of clever references, and it also has sorbet and gelato who are more than a little involved and their stands are fucking fantastic in it. I definitely recommend reading it, its very funny and well written. The stands and the some of the og characters are great and la squadra is invited to the wedding of the lady who designs their outfits.
I figured these two either didn't have stands or they had non-combative stands even though they were in the assassination group, seeing as Gelato could do nothing while he was forced to watch Sorbet die. I like this idea that they had more investigative powers, since it makes more sense as to why they're in that squad if they clearly didn't have combative stands.

although the stands feel good, they were in the assasin scouldrom so no attack power seems unlikley especially since of how heinious criminals they were and that they "defined the rules of the gang"
I honestly thought at first that Sorbet and Gelato were Tizano and Squalo because I didn't remember the names. I assumed it was a fake-out death of some kind, and I only found out when I looked up the La Squadra wiki page and saw they looked different.
I have a jojo DnD campaign with my friends which is based off the concept of Risotto winning his battle with Doppio where we came up with stands for Sorbet and Gelato. I came up with [MANEATER] for Gelato, where you can track anyone in a citywide length but with the downside of them feeling like their is someone watching them, which lead to Diavolo finding out that they were looking for his identity. The stand shows itself as a map on his arm, like a mix of Aerosmith’s radar and Chocolate Discos arm thing. For Sorbet I made [SOUNDS OF SILENCE] where if a small dart is placed on someone then you could control their 5 senses for a short period of time. We based the names off of hall and oats and Simon and Garfunkel, two famous male duos like sorbet and gelato.
Now I'm getting theories inside my head. Jesus Christ. Illuso called Formaggio's stand useless and then talked about Sorbet and Gelato. Then Formaggio said "And you called my stand useless." to Illuso. They're stand users but not for fighting. They might be using guns and knives, pretty cool for a stand user (like me, Prosciutto!). It:s a medium range stand that looks to be a tall figure with a slender frame and camera parts fused in it's body with it's right eye having a video camera lids and the left having a regular camera and buttons all over it's body.
Ability: It can allow Hayato to see any video or photo at any angle he wishes by hopping into it, looking for any detail and focus at will when he notices this. But doing so keeps it from doing anything other then move around area and can not defend him in any way when it's using this power.
Want You sounds pretty fascinating in all the possible flaws it could have. If the piece of evidence is damaged, how would it look if Sorbet entered to it? What would happen if the memory is not well remembered by its owner? Etc, etc

@@blackpants7385 probably just bad memory, we see Star platinum punch a shark from her perspective and he's invisible but they might've assumed yellow temperance and wheel of fortune being vidible to her meant she could see stands because they forgot that since Wheel was a bound stand (meaning attached to a physical object) and Temperance used eaten physical material to shapeshift they were visible to normal people

How do we know Luca was just a common grunt?
the most we see him do is collection for crime on the street corner he patrols, that's not something you probably would see a capo, assassin, elite guard, or maybe even a gang leader might do (he doesn't even try to use a stand either, just his shovel). Plus, the boss only cared about Luca's death in that it felt like an insult, he couldn't care less about Luca dying and ordered it himself implying he was either unimportant or the boss just fdlt waiting for him to heal from a wound like that would be idiotic.
None of these say he's important or not on their own, but this is almost all the info we have past the list of capos from the Passione structure chart which tells us he likely wasn't a capo at least (though again that seems common sense for him not to be for varying reasons)

It only truly activates when the two of them are within eyeshot of each other. Sorbet as the head of the Stand, while Gelato has the floating torso.And what it does is that it has the ability to melt any object either of them touch into water and revert it back again instantaneously. However, the melting process is slow, and the object will only melt as fast as an ice cube in the palm of your hand. They both use it as a Stand to smuggle weapons, equipment, letters, and phones for La Squadra. Or, when they're assassinating, by turning objects into water and tricking their target into drinking it, so it'll rip them apart from the inside out after they deactivate the effects. The head gives the user the melting ability, but the torso has the reverting ability. Head belongs to Sorbet, and Gelato, the torso.

Want You Requiem + Chained to You Requiem: Sorbet can now change the past through the gate, instead of being just a spectator, creating this way an alternate timeline, granted he used a picture from Gelato (who can now enter the portal as well). The picture now allows for both of them to travel between the timelines, using information gathered in one to decide the next step on the other and vice-versa. Idk, I think it would be fun to have two Requiems which need each other's ability to be complete, and I think they are the perfect characters for that

Theres a fanfic on ao3 called "bespoke" and its mostly about rookie cop abbacchio and how he gets to know the entire gang before joining them and has a fantastic plot, like a prequel to vento aureo with lots of clever references, and it also has sorbet and gelato who are more than a little involved and their stands are fucking fantastic in it. I definitely recommend reading it, its very funny and well written. The stands and the some of the og characters are great and la squadra is invited to the wedding of the lady who designs their outfits.

I figured these two either didn't have stands or they had non-combative stands even though they were in the assassination group, seeing as Gelato could do nothing while he was forced to watch Sorbet die. I like this idea that they had more investigative powers, since it makes more sense as to why they're in that squad if they clearly didn't have combative stands.

Sorbet's Stand: Entering the Time Wound in Skyrim. You go into it with the Elder Scroll, like Sorbet's Stand, and your now in the past, spectating the past without being able to interact with it.

I honestly thought at first that Sorbet and Gelato were Tizano and Squalo because I didn't remember the names. I assumed it was a fake-out death of some kind, and I only found out when I looked up the La Squadra wiki page and saw they looked different.
I have a jojo DnD campaign with my friends which is based off the concept of Risotto winning his battle with Doppio where we came up with stands for Sorbet and Gelato. I came up with [MANEATER] for Gelato, where you can track anyone in a citywide length but with the downside of them feeling like their is someone watching them, which lead to Diavolo finding out that they were looking for his identity. The stand shows itself as a map on his arm, like a mix of Aerosmith’s radar and Chocolate Discos arm thing. For Sorbet I made [SOUNDS OF SILENCE] where if a small dart is placed on someone then you could control their 5 senses for a short period of time. We based the names off of hall and oats and Simon and Garfunkel, two famous male duos like sorbet and gelato.

They're stand users but not for fighting. They might be using guns and knives, pretty cool for a stand user (like me, Prosciutto!). And like couldn't fight Cioccolata back because of no guns and knives.

If their actual stands' names are I Want You and Chained To You, then their Stands' localization names would probably be something like I Need You and Bound To You.
