As we're know most of the characters from part 5 has the name based from food. But I found a hidden food reference in part 5. In King Crimson VS Metallica arc. At the end of the fight Risotto use Metallica to control Aerosmith. That thing is a food reference. In Italy there's a food called "Arancini Di Riso" which is deep fried risotto that took a shape of a round ball. The reason why it was called "Arancini" because it looks like an orange. (Risotto using his stand to control Narancia's stand = Risotto and Orange = Arancini Di Riso)
When part 5 Jojo anime started: Oh cool, they got Deku’s voice actor to play Narancia When season 4 BNHA anime starts: *I GET TO HEAR MY BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY’S VOICE AGAIN!*
Narancia's reaction to Abbacchio's death had me crying for weeks - one of the most impactful things I've seen in pop culture, and for reference I'm a woman in her 50s - the power of anime.
All of the Part 5 kills were brutal, but Narancia's death broke me completely. He was just a kid. He didn't get a final message or moment of glory. He was just... gone. And watching all the other characters grieve even though they knew they weren't safe was devastating. I realized something else, so let me make this extra sad. Something I've always loved about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, especially in Part 5, is the concept of fate; stand users attract other stand users to a mysterious destiny. But this concept of "gravity" could just as easily be attributed to another phenomenon: empathy, and the knowledge that you are not alone in your emotions and experience. All of the members of Bucciarati's gang have suffered misfortune (which are explicitly symbolized by their stand powers), but they nonetheless find comfort and support in each other. Narancia only ever wanted love and appreciation. Even though he's almost an adult, he's treated like a dumb child by everyone around him. And to be fair, he acts like one much of the time... but he has clear reasons for that. He never learned how to be anything else, because he was mistreated by his father, betrayed by his previous friends, and lost his chance at a better future. That is, until the gang found him. Fugo gave him a second chance as his tutor, Buccellati gave him the kindness that his biological father never did, and Giorno steeled that kindness into the resolve they needed to reform Passione. Perhaps most importantly, Giorno treated Narancia with respect, listening to his ideas and even defending him when the rest of the gang berated him after the fight with Formaggio. That respect is *extremely* important. Remember the boat scene? Remember how Narancia was only able to make the decision to follow Bucciarati after realizing just how much in common he had with Trish? Remember how this boy with severe abandonment issues turned that trauma into the willpower to push onward? Remember what he said: "Trish is me! The wound on her arm is my own!" Now. Think about his death, the one time in the entire part that Giorno shed tears. Think about how Narancia's last words about wanting to go back to Napoli and eat pizza are a reflection of Giorno's thoughts on the plane. Think about how both of these boys were severely neglected in their youth and only saved through the kindness of a gangster. Think about how Narancia is physically and mentally stunted, while Giorno was forced to grow up far too quickly. Think about how Giorno's resolve was set in stone from the beginning, while Narancia had to grow into his own resolve through his empathy for others... empathy he was never given until he met his found family. And think about how, for those few moments after he was killed by King Crimson, Giorno's soul could coexist in both bodies. *The wounds on one were the wounds on the other.*
Part 6 is relatively well written. The stakes are just changed from part 5 and instead of stands being given to experienced killers, they are given to mentally ill people with no limits. All of the protagonists have extra bizarre backstories, so it's harder to find them compelling or relatable. Part 5 is about fate, part 6 is about destiny. It also has just as many plotholes as any other part. Aside from two questionable fights, everything in the part has a purpose. Hopefully when the anime comes out people won't say it's the worst all the time, just like what happened to Part 5. I'm just worried about how they will animate the fights, which would probably take considerably more effort than any other part for just the sheer amount of stuff that happens.
Not gonna lie when asked by a friend which JOJO was my least favorite,I had said Giorno He asked why and I basically said that the rest of the characters basically overshadow Giorno throughout the entire series Pro:It keeps the story fresh and nice as it doesn't pull a Nartuo and forget about half the cast Con?:I don't know if it is just me but in comparison to the other JOJOs,the MC feels a bit lackluster due to how the spotlight is carried by the entire cast instead of just that series's JOJO
I’ve never had an issue with how giorno was handled in part 5. I did wish that him being dio’s son was something that got expanded upon more than just making up a of his personality. He’s the son of the most iconic villain for crying out loud

@@bugjams gotta love the whole mentality where a guy and a girl having a remotely positive interaction means that they're without a doubt romantically interested in each other
That was a pretty neat connection between Narancia and Keicho in the form of their Stands; both of them seem downright ridiculous even compared to other JoJo Stands in that they're literally fucking toys (toy plane, toy soldiers)... but they're toys armed to the teeth with military gear that'll cut enemies down with the unmoving coldness of a hunter. Another odd similarity is their ambition (or lack thereof); Keicho mentions that he can only start living his own life - not worrying about his father's state, finally putting down the Bow and Arrow and ending his hunt for Stands - after he's found a way to euthanize his father, similar to how Narancia only ever mentions his own dreams of schooling and eating in his hometown when he thinks their struggle against Diavolo is finally over. Both of them could easily chase their own lives and dreams, but have put them aside in favor of someone else's needs (or at least, what they think is someone else's need): For Keicho, it's ending his father's suffering, for Narancia, it's helping Buccellati see his mission through. But, ironically, they're almost polar opposite in their core attitude and personality; Keicho has an aesthetic of a military general, making strategic and methodical decisions to take enemies down with a procedure of steps, while Narancia couldn't be any more different with his wild, unfocused fury and excessively messy fighting style of "shoot-it-and-blow-shit-up-until-it's-dead" befitting his childish side. Even their similarly-formed Stands reflect this: Bad Company's defense formation can shoot down sharp nails thrown by Crazy Diamond with ridiculous precision and accuracy (Keicho himself has good enough aim to shoot the Stand Arrow into Koichi's neck from the second-floor of his house), as opposed to Aerosmith which is infamous for its machine guns' bad aim and Narancia's habit of just shooting in the vague direction of what MIGHT or MIGHT NOT be an enemy. Even their positions within their respective groups are almost yin-yang, as Keicho is very clearly the "captain" of his family and the one who makes the decisions to take care of Okuyasu and his dad, while Narancia is known for his inability to make his own decisions and almost totally reliant on his superior Buccellati for orders in a similar vein to a soldier. In fact, it's almost similar to Okuyasu's need for Keicho to order him around to keep him from getting into trouble (at least until RHCP). In other words, Keicho is much more of a "leader" or "commander" to Narancia being a "follower" or "soldier" in their groups. Perhaps it's this small difference that made the split between Keicho becoming a cold general and Narancia becoming a righteous hero: even though both of them were robbed of a proper childhood and had no one to look up to for most of their years, Narancia was still able to find a good authority and parental figure in the form of Buccellati to guide him and keep him afloat, enabling him to still be a childish snot even at 17, while Keicho had nobody to keep him from going down his dark road and was forced to become a responsible adult without any guidance before he was even a teenager let alone a young adult. Holy crap, sorry for the huge amounts of text (for anyone who bothered to read this far), but these two are my among my favorite characters throughout JoJo, so to see they share so many striking similarities and yet also have remarkable polarizing differences is amazing.
The only silver lining in narancia's death, he never had to see bruno the man he looked up to and belived in more than anyone else die for seemingly no reason just to learn he set out on the mission to kill the boss knowing he was already dead, im honestly not sure how narancia would handle that
hey man i j. i just wanted to say 😔😔 narancia has always been a huge comfort character to me ((a lot of things i’d rather not talk about here as they’re not really things i like to remember, but if you look at his backstory i’m sure you could get an idea. a lot of family issues, a lot of betrayal.)) this video is really beautifully put together and it really does a wonderful job of explaining him as a character. he’s so complex and he has so much depth and this really just does a great job of putting it all together. this probably sounds really dumb to somebody reading it but narancia is really just a very important character to me and since i see so much of myself in him it really just means a lot to me to see him represented so well in a video so thank you 🖤🖤🖤
I remember feeling so confused by narancia's death, like I thought it was sad, but it was so sudden and out of nowhere, with it having to be dropped soon due to the plot's progression. It didn't have that grindy, painful reaction we saw from abbacchio's or the build-up and beauty of bruno's death, so I had always thought it to be random and more shocking than sad. But with this video's context it really is something else. Both the minor and major details to it that meti brought up have really made me 180 my views on it. I can totally see why he said its the best from a writing perspective (although the music and voice acting of abbachio's hit me harder than I ever thought it could, so that'll probs still be the best one in my book)
I have a feeling if Aerosmith ever got a Requiem, it would either be a larger fighting plane with Smith pilot that can actually fight alongside the plane or a humanoid with plane motifs they can do the multiple punches. Either can be a sign that Narancia has matured as a person and a fighter.
Narancia's death hurt me. But what hurt me more was his reaction to Abbachio's death in the anime specifically (since the manga did not emphasize it as much).
Daily Reminder that Narancia's death is the first time we've seen Giorno genuinely cry. Previously, he just shuddered in fear, not crying at all. But here? He actually weeps.
✮ "He is truly one of the most innocent people, sure! A violent dumbass! Yes, but basically a child & very important to everyone's lives." Love all the details you put through out all the video but there is always a perfect line that makes it more entertaining!
Thanks for making me cry, ughghghhgh. A lot of details I didn't know about Narancia! These vids get better and better, and I can't wait for more. Also props for recommending Oceaniz' vid! It's a brilliant explanation.
i think the most heartbreaking thing about his death is that he really is so childlike. he's faced so much, I mean. imagine your current friend group. perhaps you've been with them for years, practically grew up together. you are betrayed by one of them, and then all of them turn their backs on you in an instant are you are left alone. not to mention the whole eye thing must have been terrifying, and he had pretty much given up life at a very early age. when he joins brunos gang he finally gets that real family and friendship he wanted. his last words are so heartbreaking, he was so young and, unlike the majority of jjba minors, acted like it aswell. all that happiness and potential his future held was taken from him. he deserved so much better and he was one of my favorite characters, and kind of the reason I got into jojo
I was so devastated when Abacchio (Abacchio? Idk) died. It was too fast. Too easy. His life was worth more than that, I thought. There should've been a fight. And that's the same thing that made Narancia's death so sad for me. Jojo's has always settled things through conflict. Even with other impactful deaths like Ceaser or Kakyoin they died fighting. To take these characters away from us so easily, like tearing a paper in two feels like an injustice, and that, more than anything, is why I wanted Diavolo to lose. For the fight they never had.
Naracia was probably fated to die Young as if he wasn't introduced to the gang his eye would've been the death of him and because he did join the gang he died at the hands of king crimson
Narancia is a fucking precocious angel. He’s the kid brother we all wish we had. Most of us probably have a friend group with at least one friend in it who is like Narancia, he’s pretty my much everyone’s kid brother who you can’t stay mad at and want to be friends with, and who’s just innocent but also not at the same time. That’s Narancia to me.
Watching golden wind for the first time be like Narancia: Once we get back to Naples, I’m going back to school! Me, already tearing up: STOP, PLEASE STOP TALKING IM BEGGING YOU DONT DO THIS

Hey *I'm back*
I actually thought Narancia's death was telegraphed. He was basically giving a "1 week from retirement" speech right before he got got.
Most of the members of bruno’s gang is well written if were gonna be honest
Most of Araki's work is written well tbh
@Nio37 ahem.. I said "Most"
Part 6 is relatively well written.
Not gonna lie when asked by a friend which JOJO was my least favorite,I had said Giorno
He asked why and I basically said that the rest of the characters basically overshadow Giorno throughout the entire series
Pro:It keeps the story fresh and nice as it doesn't pull a Nartuo and forget about half the cast
Con?:I don't know if it is just me but in comparison to the other JOJOs,the MC feels a bit lackluster due to how the spotlight is carried by the entire cast instead of just that series's JOJO
I’ve never had an issue with how giorno was handled in part 5. I did wish that him being dio’s son was something that got expanded upon more than just making up a of his personality. He’s the son of the most iconic villain for crying out loud
I’d never even considered the fact that narancia died completely alone, I blame you for this newfound additional sadness Meti, you truly are three bad guy
Sometimes I feel bad for the fate Diavolo is suffering.
Then I remember how he killed Narancia...
And then our pity evaporates

Narancia is one favorite characters in Jojo of time because of how he is and how I relate to him. Seeing this video just makes me appreciate his character even more and I even got into listening to Aerosmith because of this orange boi
Didn't you already do a "Beauty of Trish" video last year?

I found it interesting that he was one of the closest ones to trish before he died
Kinda made he hate that Trish started flirting with Mista right after. Like I knew Narancia wasn’t her type of guy, but come on... she had to know he had a crush on her, and it’d be super weird if someone else just started flirting with you right after someone who liked you died.
@@bugjams I don't think he had a crush on her and I don't think she was flirting with Mista either

So basically
I, Narancia Ghirigia, have a dream.
The only silver lining in narancia's death, he never had to see bruno the man he looked up to and belived in more than anyone else die for seemingly no reason just to learn he set out on the mission to kill the boss knowing he was already dead, im honestly not sure how narancia would handle that
Is freak out when be saw Abbachio’s death was so good in the anime
13:00 “his death came out of nowhere”
Yeah like I couldn’t see it coming soon after that school pizza speech he did first... lol
That’s anime only, bro...
Sadly the anime made his upcoming death much more apparent
“Narancia Ghirga is the loudest and most aggressive member in Bruno’s gang”
Fugo: are you challenging me?
He said "one of the"
hey man i j. i just wanted to say 😔😔 narancia has always been a huge comfort character to me ((a lot of things i’d rather not talk about here as they’re not really things i like to remember, but if you look at his backstory i’m sure you could get an idea. a lot of family issues, a lot of betrayal.)) this video is really beautifully put together and it really does a wonderful job of explaining him as a character. he’s so complex and he has so much depth and this really just does a great job of putting it all together. this probably sounds really dumb to somebody reading it but narancia is really just a very important character to me and since i see so much of myself in him it really just means a lot to me to see him represented so well in a video so thank you 🖤🖤🖤
I WANT TO SEE MY LITTLE BOY (here he comes)
This guy so cute
I wish i could meet a guy like him
Me? If so haha I'm back also I went back to school im still kinda ded tho
Narancia Ghirga NARANCIAAA!!!😭
And his stand 『Dude Looks Like a Lady』
I'm crying in the club about my boy again. I freaking love Narancia, and your analysis is fantastic!
Narancia's death hurt me. But what hurt me more was his reaction to Abbachio's death in the anime specifically (since the manga did not emphasize it as much).
What if we changed Meti's name to Meti [Is The Bad Guy] on Halloween.
Daily Reminder that Narancia's death is the first time we've seen Giorno genuinely cry. Previously, he just shuddered in fear, not crying at all. But here? He actually weeps.
When you realize Narancia's Stand Aerosmith has a radar ability so he can watch out for those snakes
✮ "He is truly one of the most innocent people, sure! A violent dumbass! Yes, but basically a child & very important to everyone's lives." Love all the details you put through out all the video but there is always a perfect line that makes it more entertaining!
Everyone please pray for meti
Nothings wrong, he just can’t keep an intro
Thanks for making me cry, ughghghhgh. A lot of details I didn't know about Narancia! These vids get better and better, and I can't wait for more.

Would love it if you considered doing an episode on Giorno.
The Glory of Giorno Giovanna is something eager to see for basically a year, i would honestly lose my mind if i saw it in my notifications.
giorno with his hair down is going to appear in my nightmares, i can feel it
Bucciarti's face at 11:34 always makes me smile
saddest death in all of the anime so far, and unless DP makes some huge changes in SO's death, it won't be surpassed until SBR gets animated
I really really want to know how the other members passed the lighter test. Giorno barely passed it like 8 times.
i think the most heartbreaking thing about his death is that he really is so childlike. he's faced so much, I mean. imagine your current friend group. perhaps you've been with them for years, practically grew up together. you are betrayed by one of them, and then all of them turn their backs on you in an instant are you are left alone. not to mention the whole eye thing must have been terrifying, and he had pretty much given up life at a very early age. when he joins brunos gang he finally gets that real family and friendship he wanted. his last words are so heartbreaking, he was so young and, unlike the majority of jjba minors, acted like it aswell. all that happiness and potential his future held was taken from him. he deserved so much better and he was one of my favorite characters, and kind of the reason I got into jojo
For the fight they never had.
your choice of music is always amazing.
so basically Narancia is Keicho's psychological problems mixed with Okuyasu's cluelessness
Naracia was probably fated to die Young as if he wasn't introduced to the gang his eye would've been the death of him and because he did join the gang he died at the hands of king crimson
Ducky Here
Maybe but if he stayed and didn’t become a traitor like fugo maybe he would of had a chance
Ah, my favorite jojo character
Orange Gray
Narancia is a fucking precocious angel. He’s the kid brother we all wish we had. Most of us probably have a friend group with at least one friend in it who is like Narancia, he’s pretty my much everyone’s kid brother who you can’t stay mad at and want to be friends with, and who’s just innocent but also not at the same time. That’s Narancia to me.
I remember getting so excited when I found out Narancia's stand was named after one of my favorite bands 👌
Watching golden wind for the first time be like
Narancia: Once we get back to Naples, I’m going back to school!
Me, already tearing up: STOP, PLEASE STOP TALKING IM BEGGING YOU DONT DO THIS

Yeah that death scene just disrespectful I knew the second a character stars talking about bettering themselves while they're not fully out of danger get the tissues ready you finna a cruy

Honestly even though I knew that his death was coming due to accidentally spoiling it for myself, it still felt like a huge punch in the gut. He was a character that I personally really relate to. The main things about him that I relate to is his dependence on friends and those he cares about to make decisions and the betrayal he faced in past friendships. Plus I also feel like our personalities are similar in certain aspects. He was my favorite character on the main team and seeing him on those spikes hurt like hell.
