I love the Moore’s and love the Piney.
Haven’t been up this summer yet but I need too asap. Last trip I did Heltons to twins at 5’ and it was more than I bargained for 😆 but it was awesome. I had a whitewater yak with a skirt. It was a blast but I am not a big white water kinda guy 😊
I mean, I like a lil bit of rapids but the rocks scare me bad. The Mother was terrifying for me lol….
    Definitely, “know before you go.”
At that level y’all did it is a quick ride from Long pool to twins
    Great video :-)

@WholeOtherLevelOutdoors Yeah man, Helton's is a blast....but we did it in a whitewater raft. I don't have a whitewater yak, but Helton's looks pretty intimidating to me unless I'm in a raft. The Mother was super fun that way!

Parked down at the Moore’s at 164 today. Don’t think I have ever met nicer people. Hoping to be back when it’s a little warmer haha

Yes, really great folks at Moore's. Definitely get back there in May and hit the Piney with them if you get a chance!

15:52 do you think it would be lower and less choppy in early June? How far away is it from Dardanelle is the water pretty murky?

Usually by early June, the river is a good bit lower than this. How clear or murky it is depends on how soon you go after a big rain - the more time that goes by after a big rain, the more the river clears up. Google maps says Long Pool Rec Area is 44 minutes from Dardanelle. Please see the link in the video comments above to our blog article that has all the details you need to plan a float here. Thanks for watching!
