  • Come join us as we float 20 miles on the Current River in southern Missouri. This will be a 2 day floating and camping trip, stopping somewhere on a gravel bar near Pulltite to camp overnight. We are putting in at Akers Ferry and pulling out at Round Spring. This is my first time floating the Current River and hear there are some awesome springs (Pulltite Spring) and caves (Cave Spring Cave) to check out along the way. We're gonna do a little fishing, fix some delicious meals, chill, and just enjoy each other's company. This should be an incredible float trip on the Current River!

The Ozark National Scenic Riverways is a special place. One of my favorite places to visit.

The cave ends in a nice lagoon. For years we stopped just after you in a dry dead end.wonderful accoustics. A local told us about a way to go further. It was worth it and is one of my favorite spots. A lagoon,in a cave,on a river. Really cool place

That's awesome! Now I kind of wished we had tried going further. But it was getting a little unnerving being that far back and not knowing what lies ahead. Perhaps next time! Any tips on how to proceed further?
