I’ve never been camping that way but wanting to try it now since I’ve had 4 knee surgeries Looks a little easier on the knees now I can’t backpack anymore
Really enjoying these videos. Thank you for making them. I float the Jacks and Current yearly. It's time to kayak and spend the night on the river. All these videos are fantastic in getting me started in the right direction for the adventure. The fact that you get 8 others to go is awesome!! Good friends, good times.
I have been floating Southern Missouri rivers for the past 35+ years and never, will I ever, tire of their beauty and wild nature. Great video! Everyone on your crew is hard core! That's a massive trip and courageous commitment on all parts. congrats.
You need to stop making videos....because its making my 'short list' too long! Another epic video covering a wild river. One day we will tackle it, such a beautiful place!
Jack's is like one of your hill country rivers in that it's only floatable after a good rain. We made the call on this trip 3 days out and barely scraped by! Worth it...
Awesome trip man. We just did 17 bridge to alley over the weekend and it changed in that time already. The sideways tree was turned a little but still not passable. We camped just below rymers and i had a cottonmouth mouth sleep next to my tent 😅
@OzarkMediaCo Holy crap.i don't think I've ever seen one of them. Someone told me cottonmouths are pretty populated that far up def got lucky. Def stepped over him 2 or 3 times. Glad yall were safe after seeing that many 😯
They were pretty much all in the water. It was 110F heat index so we speculate they'd all come out to swim and cool their body temps (cold blooded and whatnot).
Ciao ragazzi complimenti per il video . Dove si trova questo fiume? Da dove siete partiti? Quanti km? Dove siete arrivati? Buon proseguimento a tutti.. Grazie
Man many spots look really shallow. Were all of your kayaks flat bottom? Did anyone sport a Kayak with a keel? My kayak (Crescent Light Tackle) has a strong keel that gets hung up on rocks in shallow water and was curious if anyone in your group had such a yak, and what their experience was. I might need a different kayak with a flat bottom to run this stretch of river, which I most certainly will be doing in the future.
Only the heaviest boats got hung up. Our NuCanoes have a ton of buoyancy and sit really high up in the water, probably due to their extra width. We were definitely cutting it close most of the time, though.
Man what an awesome time you all had . Good eating & all . I just did a 37 mile kayak camping 🏕 trip over the labor day weekend myself with my whole entire family & with some family friends . It was a huge group of us like 20 people in all & 2 dogs 🐕 . I have a question buddy ? In the beginning i like the sandals you was wearing. I am looking for a pair of sandals to wear for kayaking 🛶 . What kind of sandals are you wearing ? I have been looking at Chaco's sandal because they have a pair for wide feet 🦶 . I have very very extremely wide feet 🦶 that are 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe . My problem is that my toes are Evenly straight across & very very fat & chubby as well & feet 🦶 won't fit in any close toes footwear because of how evenly straight across my toes are & how extremely wide my feet 🦶 are so i have to kayak 🛶 barefooted 👣 because of this & having to walk over top of river rock barefooted 👣 is starting to hurt my feet 🦶 . I also like in the video at 35:40 were you was barefooted 👣 kayaking 🛶 cuz that's how i have to kayak 🛶. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video buddy.
Really enjoyed your cave footage! You were much better prepared with the lighting to see all the cool falls inside. The Jacks is a great river, but often too shallow for my preferences. Thanks again and happy floating!!! ruclips.net/video/7HSKqqvI7EQ/видео.htmlsi=656JZ19MkHxxFTEy
Thanks! That's still an awesome video, shows a lot more of the cave, even if it's a little dark. I didn't even put our best shots in here though to tell you the truth! 🤣
Outstanding video! I love the cave footage. Very eerie, almost psychedelic! Felt like I was trippin back in the day!
The experience was trippy for sure. Especially how cool the cave was and cold the water was while it was 100 degrees outside!
Actually looked like a lot of fun and some what relaxing as well
Was amazing! We took a really slow pace because of the heat, so we were pretty relaxed, indeed!
I’ve never been camping that way but wanting to try it now since I’ve had 4 knee surgeries

Beautiful river ,and super well done filming, great job 👍👍

We're blessed by our friendships and our beautiful natural areas. Doesn't get any better!
Love the cave music….reminds me of the Goonies soundtrack!
Aren't you glad I didn't truffle shuffle?
As always the scenery and videography is beautiful
It's a wonderful place, didn't take much to make it look good on camera!
I like that your content is family friendly. Keep up the awesome work.
Eh, only mostly. I do have a terrible potty mouth that gets away from me sometimes. It can make things annoying editing around it. 🤣
Another awesome video with incredible music and editing, well done yet again! What an amazing trip.
Thanks for making it another great one.
Doesn't get much better than that. Amazing trip, amazing video to capture the memories. That week went by so fast, can't wait for the next one.
Let's do this every year until the end of time!
Thank you for the video scrapbook! Such an incredible trip that I'll remember forever. Need to work on my RBF before the next one though lol.
Keep it just the way it is. Somebody needs to keep these people in line!

Great stuff! Looking forward to making it over there!
Well worth the trip, can't wait to go back!
Ready for the next one, amazing job!
Lezgo!
Excellent. thanks for taking us along on the adventure. you guys eat better on the river than i do at home.
Always!
Excellent adventure and video, thank you for capturing these beautiful images, greetings from Argentina
Nice river. Good for camping and casting bro❤
We're blessed!
Another awesome adventure! Love the food menu selections!!!!
We're spoiled!
Love what you do keep up the good work!!!!
It was missing something...
@@OzarkMediaCo NEXT YEAR!!!! Good sir.
I've done this same float with 10 of my friends. One of my most cherished memories! Jack's Fork is amazing
I hope y'all still get together and paddle!
Spectacular video shot in Jam Up Cave!
What an incredible place!!
Ive floated Jacks Fork several times. Also have floated from tan vat to van burran a few times. Great trips.
We've done pretty much the whole current, too. Check out the videos!
Whoa, massive kettle upgrade at 9:00!
Yeah, the french press is a bit better for the bigger groups than a percolator.
Wow amazing job!
Thanks!
Amazing!
Thanks!

We saw more copperheads on this trip than I've seen in my whole adult life. Was kind of weird, we had to keep a really close eye on the dog.

Im extremely jealous my group has decided its to hot in the texas heat right now to go on another trip but our april trip was awesome
It was very, almost insufferably hot. Which is way we did about 6.5 miles a day 😂
WOW!!!! fantastic!!! was that solar panels on one of those canoes???
Glad you enjoyed. That's the 60w sunjack. It's pretty big, they make a smaller 40w, too.
Do weableau creek this spring after a decent rain, class 3 in certain parts according to the map.
Sounds sporty! We're not much for whitewater lol

Great video! What kind of camera are you using at the 8:30 mark (when filming the tent)?
Thanks! That's an FX3 and 50mm G-Master.
Is there anyway you can tell me the name of the dog’s lifejacket that he is wearing?
I know we got it at bomgarrs. Unfortunately, there is not a brand name on it. We sure like it.
@@OzarkMediaCo oh ok. Thank you so much for replying.
My wife has informed me it's a TERRAIN D.O.G. and that I needed to, "look harder"....🤣🤦♂️
@@OzarkMediaCo lol lol that’s so funny. Tell her I said thank u.
Was this trip recent? Is this river floatable in late summer or fall?
Jack's is really only runnable in the spring or after floods. Short windows to get out there and paddle the upper during June/July.

Upper Jack's Fork is still on my bucket list. Amazing river.
Frustrating some of the best sections of the best rivers have to be timed just right. Probably helps keep them free from a load of people too tho
