When I was a kid we would spend many weekends floating the Current River. The water was crystal clear and very deep in parts. There would be huge trees downed in the deeper pools and I was surely afraid I'd get trapped. We put in somewhere North of Van Buren and camp at Big Spring. Spent a lot of time at Wappapelo too...and seemed most of the time cleaning weeds off the prop.
Always good food at the Dairy Shack! Being a fellow Missourian, have been there a few times :) Another great video, John! Thanks! Just a "curious viewer" question about your bikes... what makes you choose one over the other when planning a ride? They seem very similar in function, altho clearly the Tiger is better off-road. Also a follow up on the V-Strom: I believe I saw you mention in a previous video you were looking at possibly upgrading to the 1000 or new 1050. Any regrets about the 650 purchase?
Hello there sir, good to hear from you... yes the Dairy shack is always a winner... especially when one is half starved... :) As far as which bike I am going to ride on an outing I just try to switch back and forth so I am not always riding the same bike on my videos. The 650 V-Strom is absolutely a wonderful bike, I have no regrets what so ever on buying it but I am looking for a larger heavier bike that I can take on long trips out west. If I had not owned the 650XT I probably would not have even considered the 1050 as my next touring bike. I still have not made up my mind yet as to what I will get but the 1050 V-Strom is high on the list... thanks for watching. Keep safe out there... :)
