Your videos are so educational, as well as entertaining. Thank you. Btw, I've seen many historic mills, but the one in this video is the best restored mill I have ever seen.
John, thank you so much for this video. I grew up in Rolla and explored Clark National Forest in my youth. Canoed the Current River a number times, and this stretch of the Jack's Fork once. I live in upstate New York now, a pretty area but less wild. I didn't know of the mill (probably not restored during my day, 1960's-70's) and to my knowledge there were no wild horses around then. You brought me back home for 21 and a half minutes!
Hi John....coming to you all the way from Atlantic Canada. I'm just outside Saint John, New Brunswick...just about 100 miles north of Calais, Maine. I just found your channel today & love your videos....have watched about 5 so far today! Just got my '23 KLX300 Camo around the middle of July...I love all the excursions that you go on...I'm 71 now & don't want to slow down or quit riding just yet even with 2 new knees & kneecaps, as well as a complete new left hip. We also have beautiful country & backroads up here...I've had a Tw200, Suzuki 185, Yamaha 125, 2-KLR's 650, Kawasaki klx250s & have settled on the KLX300 & a Suzuki dl650 V-strom and love them both. So you have a new member to your channel & keep up the great videos!! Thks!
That road is my favorite ride in the Ozarks, been through there several times. Glad to see you finally made it through this time. All the horses? Those are from the Cross Country Trail Ride, You went by the gate just at the edge of Eminence. It's a big event at the first of every month. On another note, the National Park Service has been trying to close the road between Alley Springs and Eminence for some time. It is a county road, and thankfully the locals and the county commissioner has fought to keep that road open, and keep it a county road. Let's keep that road open to the public.
Good to hear from you again.. I did not know they were trying to take our road away from us... that would make less of the river available to the public... I see campers in there... they probably do not want people camping along the river... looks bad to the floaters I suppose.... thanks for watching... keep safe out there... :)
Enjoyed the video John. Beautiful ride. What's the spring you went to that powered a mill and the old post office still stood and the woman who owned it gave you a tour. Enjoyed the video John and RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!
Good to hear from you sir, I believe you are referring to Topaz Mill on the North Fork of the White River. It was a very cool old mill... thanks for watching... :)

Very cool areas on your side of mo. Keep up the good work. Also. It takes some effort for an opossum to get ran over. Had me laughing. Good job.
