This just seems slapped together last minute. For a club like Real Madrid to have this be their hospitality package is insulting to the sport. If I wanted that experience, I would have just gone to a bar and had wings before the game and walked to the stadium afterward in a regular seat and it would have probably been similar.
Hospitality at big clubs is the only way to get tickets for most people. It's just a scam

I would agree with your assessment at the end of the video. I was in Madrid in 2018 when River Plate was playing against Boca Juniors in the Copa libertadores final. From my personal experience, I had similar complaints for like you had. I guess not much has changed.

Been in Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla. After years of visiting Milan, Turin and Rome I can just say the atmosphere in Italy is much much better. Don't loose money on buffets costing 550 Euros. Just go to Milan and San Siro for much better experience.

I was at the exact same game as you, also in hospitality but in a different section of the stadium. Luckily my hospitality area was only a 2mins walk from the stadium. I totally agree with you, it is definitely not worth the money. You end up paying 300 euros and all you get is a meal before the game and standard seats up in the clouds. You don’t even get any food or drinks in the stadium whilst watching the game, you have to buy everything.
Real Madrid has the hospitality in the hotel because of the Bernabéu renovations. The hospitalities will be inside the stadium again once the renovations are done and it's going to look ultra modern.
Will they still be seated 35,000 feet above the pitch though?

@@zeejoo There are several types of hospitality in Bernabeu and they buy the cheapest. Btw, The hospitality that offers a panoramic view is not the place they are sitting.
I was at this game as well! No hospitality or anything but really enjoyed the impact the full stadium has.

"Whistles and moans are louder than goal celebrations" is actually a thing in La Liga matches and Spanish football in general and it's a cultural thing. Spanish people love drama and confrontations and they always voice their opinions as loud as they can, be it tellin the waiter the coffee is cold, paella is bad and things like that. Spanish people love drama and live for the drama. I live in Valencia and don't get me wrong, the noise is always immense when Valencia score, but when the ref fucks up, the noise can be deafening.
A football match for a Spanish person is 90 minutes of constant expression of how you feel. Whistles and moans and expressing your anger in a football match is basically Spanish culture in a nutshell. And that's why I frigging love this country.

Did Real Madrid Hospitality 2 years ago. It was in the NH Hotel Eurobuilding near the Bernabeu. Thought it was great.

There are lot higher levels of hospitality offered at the Bernabeu. This is one of the cheaper ones.

My brother went to Bernabeu for a Spain national team game and he said it's impressive.
Anyways, Bernabeu and Madrid fans are a bit cold for Madrid games. We call them "piperos", which means they just sit and eat.
If you are looking for more warm stadiums, you should visit mainly north stadiums (Navarra, Basque, Galicia or Asturias). Maybe south (Sevilla or Cádiz) are ok too. We envy English football. Many Spanish people support Barça or Madrid just to win.

Great video lads, on the Madrid went there back in 2018 against Almeria didn't enjoy it at all. Obviously not a big game but you'd think going to see Real Madrid at the Bernabau would be an experience but it wasn't. Was looking forward to going to see the stadium renovated but after seeing this I'll pass
I get what he means about the outside of the stadium, there's nothing to really say that it's the Bernabeu and to me it just isn't nice to look at. I was a bit underwhelmed inside too, preferred nou camp, Getafe's stadium and Espanyol's stadium.

The hospitality package typically costs 2-4x (depending on opponent/competition/etc) times more than that and you get a lot more and seat more in the middle section of the stadium. Also the hospitality area is in the stadium but due to construction its at the hotel and costs less than normal

Was at the same match but a tier lower , with a decent view . Sat next to season ticket holders but felt like they were there to be entertained rather than support the club .Would have been a better choice to go the irish rover pub before to watch liverpool chelsea . Love the suits & trainers lads , pure class.

Elis is spot on clubs like Madrid, Barca, United, Liverpool, Arsenal etc have been massively sanitised by tourist fans that add nothing to the atmosphere or the club in general other than financially. Hate clubs like Madrid
English clubs aren't like that

Northern stadiums are the closest to English football. Even in lower tiers.
This one I enjoyed a lot because it’s actually telling me something new.
I feel that the 'Magpie Club' at St James's Park is better. It has great buffet food, you get free bets, and your seats allow you to see the players, their padded and about halfway down the stand. Although, I advise just booking hospitality. Expensive though.

Go to Lech Poznan... I had gold VIP booked for a mates stag do for a sat kickoff. They moved the game to the Friday the week before we went so never got to go ..would love to see what they offer

I was looking up real madrid hospitality lately and I kept seeing the 20 minute away hotels and the high up seats and kept thinking surely this isnt it. So it's good to get the confirmation that it is abit rubbish, surely with a new stadium they'd have world class hospitality but apparently not

Went to madrid last year went to a game (all be it not hospitaltiy) and had a stadium tour (which can i add was just throuhj the museum our in to a stsnd then leave as there was construction on so didnt get to see any of the behnind the scenes stuff which you normally pay for in a stadiim tour)
However went to both an atletico tour and game and it was 10x the expirance tour was an actual tour stadiim qas nice and the game had proper fans but also loads of like pre game stuff outside the staduim whoch was nice music and a few stuff for kids so saved the trip tbh

If you want atmosphere I would suggest you come and watch Southend United! We have a great away following!
It also matter what team its against. A hospitality ticket against bacelona for example would most likely be at least double that.

I paid a little under 150 € for the Madrid vs Celta game and was right next to the “ultras” and by the goal. Great experience

People in the comments and I've also heard this many times in real life, tend to say that the atmosphere at the Bernabeu and other similar stadiums is dead.
Sorry to disappoint you there. If you're going to a Sevilla game (during a season in which Sevilla is fighting relegation), that's exactly the atmosphere you're going to get. What people can't understand (and I'm not saying that with arrogance) is how fans of this club have been spoiled. If you're not a Real Madrid supporter, you don't know what's it like to have that 14 patch on your right arm in the Champions League, you don't know what's it like to have won 3 UCL in a row, 5 in 10 years, 35 La Liga, 8 Club World Cups, 20 Copa del Rey and so on. People in Madrid are used to WINNING, lads. A draw in the Bernabeu is the equivalent of a loss (regardless of the opponent), because Real Madrid WINS A LOT! The easiest thing in the world is to get accustomed to winning, it becomes 2nd nature. That's why the people in the stadium are so inexpressive, because they are the equivalent of wealthy people seeing Lamborghinis. For someone who can't afford it, it's always a special event, and there's always the hope that one day, somehow, MAYBE, you will get that Lamborghini. For the rich, Lamborghinis come with all the problems in the world (just a figure of speech).
Go to the Bernabeu when an El Clasico is played (if you can get tickets). Go see a Champions League semi-final when a "remondata" is required, then talk about the atmosphere 😉.
