@@Kewickviper Essentially it's "amateur" NFL. Universities field teams that compete across several divisions with the highest being Division 1 FBS which is where the top teams play. Although it's actual university students playing, teams have huge fanbases as these are typically the premier schools within a given region. These games draw much larger crowds than the NFL and a lot of times have bigger fanbases as well. Our college football fans are probably more similar to English football fans than our NFL fans would be. Also Louisiana College's soccer team was and is truly terrible. They often go entire seasons without winning a match.

That is impressive but it isn't the high end at Man City (I had a season ticket at City over 18 years from 1995 - 2014 and was used to living life in the South Stand near the away fans). Last season I had the fortunate opportunity to be invited by Robinson's brewery to their suite in the Chairman's lounge. We had a circular leather booth with a waitress dedicated to our table. To put it into context, the next best table we could have had was by buying the club, (about 20 feet away behind a black glass screen was the Chairman of City and owners of Fulham). My match seat was on the front row of the second tier about 8 seats from the Chairman (Khaldoon Al Mubarak) and the Fulham owners with carpet on the floor and heated leather seats. It was the best football experience of my life. The food and drink was an incredibly high standard and the whole experience was a day I will never forget. Thankyou Robinsons Brewery.
