- Welcome to Masters Week!
But before we get to that, Bill has a breakdown of the Project X IO irons shaft, which turns out could be a good fit for my own golf swing.
Then, we get into a few of our favorite Masters-themed releases including the new TRUE Linkswear shoes and a couple Asher glove drops.
Finally, I was lucky enough to play another historically significant golf course earlier in the week in the Chicagoland area and give my thoughts on the experience and the beauty of great golf course architecture. - Спорт
I used the PXi and now have the IO and LS in testing. The IO has the best feel of the three and is perfect for my smooth medium tempo. Good review!
Can I borrow some of that smooth medium tempo? I could definitely use it! Thanks for watching!
Recently had a fitting, where my 7 iron speeds were in the low 90s. The club fitter put me in a Project X IO 6.0. He said that with my tempo and that to allow me to release the club easier, this shaft would work. I really liked the shaft in the fitting, but wonder why we wouldn't demo a X shaft especially when these play a little softer. Any thoughts?
Tough to say without seeing your numbers and swing. I'm *guessing* it had something to do with a combination of those two things? Did you test other shafts with a similar profile as an X shaft? Maybe the fitter was making an assumption based on that?
@@ThatRangeLife He didn't and that's what's concerning me. I took a lot of arms only swings with the 7 iron, with speeds at 84mph, carry of 160 to 165. Ball was launching at 16.9. He didn't have me take a lot of full swings. Worse comes to worse, if they come and spin out too much, just have to change them out, I guess.
@@jonathanthompson6539 Yeah, for sure. And maybe try a different fitter. haha
@@ThatRangeLife 😂😂
Would you say this shaft plays to a stiff+ like the other project X shafts or true to just a stiff? In the 6.0 of course.
I’ll differ to Bill. He’s the shaft expert.
Neither unlike most of the other project X, it plays just a touch softer than its Flex
That’s funny!!! C’mon Scoob!! @11Scooby71
