I had the ProjectX 6.0 Rifle in my T150 irons. I really hit them good at the fitting. But after I started to feel that the shaft was totaly dead. I did a shaft fitting and ended up changing to the c-taper lite 115X. I can feel the kick in that shafts.

I Owned 223's with LZ 6.0, always felt "off" and loose in the start of the swing. Then owned Apex 21 pro's with S400, great feeling but a little heavy feeling after 18 holes. Tried some Ping i230 and wanted to try lighter shafts DG105 , Love the heads hate the shafts.
Sold the Apex's, changed the shafts in the 223's to PX 6.0 and have better dispersion but not as much pop. Then PXG fitter had me try 317t with DG115mid, felt good but wasn't sold on the numbers I was seeing (felt a bit fast). Then a Titleist fitter put me into T150 with PX 5.5, then Mizuno shaft analyzer put me into KBS 120 S (SS1), and NSPro 120x, out of them all the 120x felt stable with speed. I've put the NSP 120x in my 223 and it felt decent at the range but not sure I should change all the shafts.
I have a fitting scheduled with The Tour Van on May 1st, maybe those guys can finally figure out what works best for me.

I hate to be that guy, but if you went to 4+ fittings then tried 7 different shafts as a result and none of them felt quite right - either all of those fitters suck and had you in the wrong weight/stiffness/torque category…or the “feel” issue isn’t due to the shafts but rather the only constant between all of those switches^

@@LegacyAirTech I have been changing my swing to a more rotary so my feels are changing. The Mizuno shaft fitting was the best and I've known the fitter from when I first started (although Mizuno does not use a ball measurement device). I've heard a lot about The Tour Van as he has fit Pro's Mcilory, Molinari, Duval, Foley...etc. So I decided that he'll know what's up and what is the best.

The PX looked to spin just a little more... and dispersion, and distance control were not as good as the DG. I don't see any performance gains with PX here at all. The only reason to choose PX here would be if you wanted a more boardy feel.

For what 7 iron club head speed and tempo would you recomend the PX 7.0 shaft??
