    I realized after watching Donna for 3 years that she uses a simple trick to keep her threads from gumming up under the feed dogs when starting a sew line! I now hold my threads with my finger when starting, thus preventing them from being pulled into the machine. Thanks Donna!

    You are the best teacher!!! I’ve learned so much with your tutorial. Last year i bought a sewing machine because i Love hand embroidery, i made some table runners and cushion, searching on RUclips i watched your tutorial by accident 😊 and i felt in love about the world of patchwork and quilting. I year later i ve made table runners and lots of cushions using the techniques that i learned from you. To day , i got my own mini businness mixing both techniques (embroidery and quilting) 🎉 im so happy, because Here in Chile, patchwork and quilting aren’t popular, so is an advantage for this project… there’s a big challenge on my way now. 😊 thank you for your Passion and commitment with your followers and the way of teach is so neat. Thank you very much, regards from Chile 🇨🇱. Yasna

    Miss Donna, would it help the quilt along all four sides to add a small border using the background fabric to help the triangles float instead of them almost looking like an afterthought? Thank you for the giveaways and for the videos. I enjoy your teaching methods. Do you all make any blooper reels? Those would be fun to see. Just a suggestion. 😁🤣

    • @jordanfabrics8380
      @jordanfabrics8380  Год назад +2

      You certainly could add a border of the background so the quilt floats. We do not have a blooper reel - not because I don't make blunders, but we usually delete the goofs as we go. I'll make a suggestion to James for future video ideas!

    Good afternoon Donna and all the Jordan "Family", The fabric that you chose today Donna is gorgeous, so beautiful and the colours are wonderful. I love how you kept the colour families together when making the large pieces, the patterns just complimented each other lovely, the aqua and lilacs are just so beautiful together. The quilting design looks so flowery at one angle and yet you can see the beautiful butterflies at a different angle, with the lilac thread just being the perfect choice for me in finishing it off. I think i would love it to be bigger to go on my 5Ft kingsize bed, i do like my bed covers to drape down the sides quite a fair bit. Thank you lovely lady for yet another wonderful make, in wonderful choice of fabrics. Crafty hugs, Norah, GLenochil, Scoltand
