I'm glad you are 'out there' with your tutorials and providing the information for people to understand how simple piecing can be. Yes, it can be time consuming but that is what most of us want: to be creative and have something productive to do with our time. My friend would love this quilt and her dog would love one of your give-aways. Thanks again.
Donna, I just love your videos. Im older than dirt, and just started trying to make quilts this year.I have learned so much from your videos. My goal is to make quilts throw size, for each one of my Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren. Hopefully, I'll accomplish this by Christmas. Thank you again. Dottie Winnie
Wonderful video! That quilt block reminds me of Pennsylvania Dutch patterns seen on barns. The small stars add enormously to the overall pattern. Very beautiful quilt!
OK, SOOOOooooo, I'm not 'going to have this done in an hour for the shower,' but I guess that means I have to keep it for myself, right?!?! LOL It's beautiful and SO INTERESTING to look at w/the larger and smaller stars. Those little stars are SO CUTE! Thank you Donna, son and team for putting these videos together. You taught me how to quilt and I'm so grateful!
Donna did it in less than 30 minutes… an hour should be plenty of time! LOL. I made a signature quilt for my daughter when she went to college. I finished it after she was there 4 months. ;)
I love how you take a very daunting looking quilt and break it down so that it seems much easier and less scary . Thanks so much for your insights and cleverness you share with us!
Love this quilt Donna. Boy, you have a lot of patience cutting and sewing all those pieces together, but the end product came out beautiful as always. Thank you for teaching and sharing. ❤
Hello Donna, once again a wonderful clear tutorial, your instruction are so clear , l have too learnt so much from your tutorials. Kind regards heather from Melbourne Australia
Oh, how I wish that my cut-off tips and poor matching seams didn't cause me to get discouraged. This past week I took the seam ripped to one block that was "not perfect". Still didn't match all points up. Have decided to put appliques on some places to hide them....
@@gogrannygo4431 Just remember: No one will refuse a quilt you’ve gifted them because the points don’t match! They’re just delighted you made them a quilt at all!! (& if they’re not, those folks just aren’t “quilt-worthy”! 🙂)
@@HRHDMKYT Your comment made me tear up a little. It's so sweet. You're absolutely right: I should only gift to quilt-worthy people. Thank you for this gentle reminder to do my best even if it's not my idea of perfection. ❤
It’s always a good day when I go to RUclips and see a new video by Donna. I find watching her videos very relaxing. I have become much more organized in my quilting from watching Donna. I also enjoy watching Matt cut fabrics. I love cutting scraps into usable precuts
No better way to start the day than a new Jordan Quilt Tute! I always learn something I can use and it is great to see the variety of quilts there are to make!
Love your videos each week. It has inspired me to make many of them. I like the way you teach us , very clear, no rushing , on the cutting, pressing and piecing. Makes the complicated looking pattern so much easier to do. Thank you Donna and family.
The only thing a more experienced quilter might do is a bunch of chain piecing per step and less chopping of thread as shown here. If you had everything well organised with labels, step 1,2,3 etc it would go faster overall.
I always wait for your new videos...but this time I had to wait patiently for a long time! But equally enjoyed this new video...God Bless you and your family Donna!
I love those small stars also. This has the look of an older quilt, with that light background. I have never seen this pattern before. Thank you for this wonderful video. I wish my mother were still living to watch you make your beautiful quilts.
When you chose the teal green grunge for the accent color, I thought, "ooohh, Jordan, I don't think that's going to look good..." I was WRONG. It looks fabulous and I love it!
Whew! It's a fantastic quilt, but what a lot of pieces. No wonder you were gone so long. I really like your way of teaching and I especially appreciate your uncluttered working space, which makes it easy to zero in on the construction of the block. Kudos to your videographer! You are always in focus and there is great attention to getting the closeups just right. Thanks!
You make my day. I love the lesons you teach. I have made five quilts so far and three more at different stages of complete. All this year because I found your utube videos.
Thank you for the new video. Wow that seemed like a lot of work, but you made it look so easy. Love all of your tutorials. My hubby and I always look forward to watching them. Nancy and Earl
Thank you for taking your time and showing us the process of quilt making. I have watched every video you have uploaded, a few of them several times. I love how you take the time and effort to walk us through every step. I especially love when it is a quilt you have designed yourself. The quality of your videos and the information in them is top notch. Your nice calm and thought-out process is fantastic. I hope you never get tired of making videos, and hope that it is something that you still enjoy!
Wow Donna, what a beautiful quilt and the colours are amazing. I don't think I would have the patience to make this but so enjoyed your simple way of showing us how it's done Thank you to your son for great camera work too xxx
Wow alot of precision work and quite a challenge but would be exciting to make! So pretty! Love the cornerstones and sashing. Nice winter project. Thank you Donna and James!
This quilt takes my breath away, it's so beautiful and, in my opinion, that's an heirloom worthy quilt. It's spectacular! Donna you really made a bunch of cut up fabric into something that is almost whimsical. Bravo to you Donna! Well done . I think I need this pattern in my life.
Boy howdy!!! Your instruction is great!! This would be a hard quilt for me but I aspire to do them one day!!! I tend to do the easier patterns….I know I should move on and do one of these because the pattern is wonderful!! (You make it look so easy!!) Thank you for all your tutorials….you are THEE BEST!!❤️❤️❤️
I think this pattern produces a lot of scraps (the pieces for the inner surround prints likely only use half a layer cake square), so you could probably make this pattern with leftovers from other projects.
WOW SOOO VERY PRETTY 😍 💕 💖
Luv this quilt. I enjoy your videos. You're awesome !!!
Glad to see that you are doing advanced quilts. Way too hard for me. But I love to watch them anyways.
What a stunning quilt
Wow that looks like a very involved pattern. You did a lovely job. But beyond me for sure.
Beautiful Donna love ❤ the colors.
That pin trick is a great idea.
Fabulous as always
I look forward to watching your videos not only for learning more about sewing quilts but to see the beautiful manicures. 😀
Was looking for a block with stars... planning a quilt for my grandson. You make it look so easy... 😊 Thanks Donna 🎉

Well this morning me is beyond my skill level but I do enjoy watching your videos. Thank you!!
Thank you for demonstrating an intermediate advanced quilt on your video tutorial❤❤
If I attempted this pattern, I would be seeing stars for the rest of my life.
I really like Fig Tree patterns and fabric and this pattern doesn’t disappoint. Thank you, Donna, for another fantastic tutorial. Barb from Buffalo.

Beautiful quilt but I am never going to do one with this many tiny pieces. Glad there are those who will. lol
WOWZA Ms Donna!! You challenged us with this one, beautiful job!!!
Beautiful and stylish
