I love watching your videos. I never feel like you’re trying to sell me something. You are purely doing these videos for your enjoyment and our education. I thank you very much!
Donna - because of health issues, l can't actually quilt....but l'm right along with you on every project! Many heartfelt thanks for bringing the joy of creating with fabric to so many folks. God bless.
I love both quilts. The one with the white strips has lighter colors in the squares while the one with the black strips has mote darker colors in the squares. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Finally, something I can do with a panel I've had for years but just go blank trying to figure out what to do. I love your tutorials ! Thank you so much!!!
I can’t decide...they both add something that draws out the panels charm. Using the black with the prairie scene at dusk/evening was definitely the wise choice, it adds to the subdued feeling. While using the white helps brighten the hummingbird panel giving it a light joyful feeling.
I so look forward to your new quilt each week. You are so gentle with each remark or action (except when you toss the material at your son). I wish I lived closer to you and the store.
I used to live in the same town...yes, the credit card got a lot of use!😂. But now that I don’t live near her, I have a really good backstock of fabric and kits! I also love to watch her videos that show her outside in the beginning so I can see a little bit of my “ home”. Thank you Donna for your videos. Keeps me connected to Grants Pass!
This patten is awesome! I have several old panels that would make perfect charity quilts for small people. We are supporting a group for abused children and I can put what I have to good use. I love the upscale use of the charms! No waste is great!
Great idea! It would be awesome to play around with border fabrics and dimensions to create a "Library Window" version, with 'bookshelves' framing the top, bottom and sides 😀
I’ve always been a fan of pointillism, so these were very appealing to me. I think the choice of white or black slashing is purely an individual choice, as both of your projects are beautiful. I also love those patchwork borders. Thanks for another great video, Donna! Love Jordan Fabrics! ❤️
Incredible!!! This was just beautiful. I would love to see a winter scene like this, of course, done by Donna. It would make a beautiful winter wall hanging.
I can’t decide on which of the two I enjoy more. Most likely the hummingbird panel since I love the hummingbird and morning glories. Thank you once again for all you do for us!❤️. Finally, thank you for you generous opportunity to enter your giveaway!
I like them both for different reasons. If I were to choose one I would pick the white because that is the color I have in my own home and is comforting to me.
I love these! I think the white looks good on the panel you selected because the panel is predominantly light colors. The black looks good on the panel you selected because that panel is predominantly darker colors. Keep up the great videos!!
They both look beautiful! I’d opt for white but that’s only because we have white window frames in our home so it’s easier for me to visualise. Many thanks for a great tutorial 🙂
The darker one sets the colors off more. Like looking through a screen door. I saw a painting once of the sea, but with billowing white curtains to frame. It looked like you were just getting ready to step out the door onto the ⛱ beach.
How do you get your fabrics to match so evenly at the beginning and end of your stitching rows without using a walking foot? Yes, I set my tension on the machine, and am extremely careful not to pullor stretch the fabrics. Any assistance is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Every time I see that ironing board your husband made for you, I think darn I want one to. If Matt ever decided he wants to make them for sale, you have a guaranteed sell here. Another wonderful video, and I ended up buying both, as I could not make up my mind. Very beautiful. You are an amazing teacher. Thank you.
They are easy to make. Get a sheet, 4 x 8, not plywood, but something about 1/2 inch+ thick. Get the lumberyard to cut it. My friend and I chose to go with 2 pieces at 2 x 5, and 1 @ 3 x 4. Take them home. Cover with a layer of thermal batting and then 2 layers of cotton batting. Secure underneath with a staple gun, layer by layer. Make a cover out of some of that “ ugly” cotton fabric. You are done. Both of the 2 sizes will balance on your ironing board, or go on your cutting table. I use my cutting mat on my ironing surface.
I usually like Black because I makes everything POP! However, I like the white one this time, I think because I love the panel as well. Both are beautiful! Thank you for wonderful tutorials, Donna! I appreciate you more than you'll ever know. Marlys Cordes
Good morning Donna, Matt and all at Jordan's, for me i feel that it would depend on what colour of windows i have at home, then it could be me stepping out of my french windows into a nicer back garden than mine, lol. Both quilts are lovely Donna and so vibrant in colour, reminding me actually of the Kaffe Fassett line of brights. Thank you for bringing such sunshine into our lives because i think we could all do with that moment of bright and happy things to look forward to. Have a great day flower and i hope that the sun is shining wherever everyone is. Crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil Village, Scotland
I like both. The white seems to lighten up the hummingbird, where the black darkens the house and field....Both are beautiful. Wonderful job and excellent video.
Oo! I like them both...but the cabin and tree quilt I believe speaks to me..l love the wild colors..and the black seems to add to the peacefulness of the subject...🙋🏼♀️🌻🐝
Hi Donna, Once again I marvel over how beautiful your quilt construction turns out. I love both of these panel quilts equally. I really do think think that you chose the correct color for the window trim to separate these panels. The beautiful flower scene looks perfect with white, as does the lovely country landscape look well suited with black. Thank you for such an entertaining and easy to follow quilting tutorial. I just love your channel and am truly grateful for all of the things I have learned. Sincerely, Anita ❤
I gasped with awe when you turned over the first panel to reveal the black..... ooooh! Wow the black is stunning and to me shows up 100 times better than the white.... while I love the white the black speaks to me.... love all your work Thankyou x
This may be really silly, but when I watch Donna's videos, I also enjoy seeing what pretty manicure she's got each time.
Me too. That's the first thing I check out. (:)
Dashing Diva press on nails that you can do at home.
No way! They always look so good.
Me too!
I agree, her nails are always impeccable
I love the hummingbird panel so much with the white sashing
Thank you Donna
The white gives you the illusion that it’s daytime and the black gives the illusion that it’s nighttime, so I like both.
I like the white cross pieces better, looks more like the French door as suggested. Love this one, Donna! Thank you!
I love watching your videos. I never feel like you’re trying to sell me something. You are purely doing these videos for your enjoyment and our education. I thank you very much!
I can't decide. I like them both equally.
I like the hummingbird, bright and beautiful, just like you. Thank you.
Wow, thank you!
A “Donna’s” tutorial a day keeps a smile in Your face☺️
AMEN to that!!! Always a breath of fresh air.
The black is my favorite. I could watch Donna quilt all day.
I really like the black , it made the colors very vibrant!!
Aren't you the Wizard, what a delightful idea. You always are so inspiring, thank you for your creatively and sharing it with us .
both are too lovely to decide which I like best
What a clever idea, Donna! Those panels are gorgeous! 🤩
They are both beautiful. I think I prefer the one with the humming bird. Your tutorials always make me happy. Love your teaching style.
what a great way to use a panel, I have some I will make for charity quilts, perfect size. Thank you Donna.
Love how your nails change colours through all your demos
Lol - I’m the direct opposite! And I personally hate the 1 mail a different colour!!! Argh!!
@@debbie1_b then you would hate mine all five are different colour. This round was pastal colours for Easter.
Me too I love it! The accent nail!
@@sheraleemurdie3637 lol that look I’d probably like 👍🏻 just the 1 nail annoys me 😂😂
I only noticed her nail polish when I read your comment. Actually the colours are so nice and suit Donna's skin tone 😍
I love the house panel best. But of course anything you make is beautiful Donna.
Finally, something I can do with a panel I've had for years but just go blank trying to figure out what to do. I love your tutorials ! Thank you so much!!!
Love both - white looks like daylight and the black a night-time view. Great video
Love both, really hard to decide. You can’t go wrong with a “Donna” tutorial.
Love the black!! LOVE WATCHING!!
I can’t decide...they both add something that draws out the panels charm. Using the black with the prairie scene at dusk/evening was definitely the wise choice, it adds to the subdued feeling. While using the white helps brighten the hummingbird panel giving it a light joyful feeling.
They are equally beautiful!
I so look forward to your new quilt each week. You are so gentle with each remark or action (except when you toss the material at your son). I wish I lived closer to you and the store.
I sometimes wish I lived closer too, but my credit card is perhaps in better shape because I don't!
I like that pretty fabric
I used to live in the same town...yes, the credit card got a lot of use!😂. But now that I don’t live near her, I have a really good backstock of fabric and kits! I also love to watch her videos that show her outside in the beginning so I can see a little bit of my “ home”. Thank you Donna for your videos. Keeps me connected to Grants Pass!
I love how both turn out, but I like the white with the hummingbird 🥰
I actually love them both. Thank you so much for the great content and for assisting the sewing quilting community! May you all be blessed!
This is really great one is night one is day so windows are great just as they are !!! I love both ❤
Thank you, Donna, for another beautiful project! I love your teaching style. 💜
I prefer the white!
I love your videos!
You are the queen of finger pressing!
I never used to do it but now you have converted me.🤩
Just stunning! My favorite is the first one with the hummingbird, such rich beautiful colours
Thank you Donna you make it easy to follow your directions on how to . Ive learn something every time
This patten is awesome! I have several old panels that would make perfect charity quilts for small people. We are supporting a group for abused children and I can put what I have to good use.
I love the upscale use of the charms! No waste is great!
That is a wonderful idea, and the kids would love this size because they would be easy to cart around!
very nice both of them, one is like daytime and one looks like night, thank you
Both are beautiful, thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Love the white, it looks like a window 🪟 that I could open.
I liked both versions-black or white but I think even a contrasting color like red yellow or even purple would work also.
Toujours un plaisir de vous suivre. Continuez MM
Great idea! It would be awesome to play around with border fabrics and dimensions to create a "Library Window" version, with 'bookshelves' framing the top, bottom and sides 😀
I love this! Turned out beautifully. I prefer the Black 💕
You make sewing an art form. Beautiful!
Enjoying all the video’s. White sashing reminds me of a day in spring, the black sashing is evening in spring. Both are beautiful.
I’ve always been a fan of pointillism, so these were very appealing to me. I think the choice of white or black slashing is purely an individual choice, as both of your projects are beautiful. I also love those patchwork borders. Thanks for another great video, Donna! Love Jordan Fabrics! ❤️
You are the best teacher!
Those are so pretty.. I can't decide ..both are gorgeous! 👍💕
The white was perfect for that panel, and the black went well with the other panel.
This is going to be great for all those Christmas panels I have!
Love them both!
Incredible!!! This was just beautiful. I would love to see a winter scene like this, of course, done by Donna. It would make a beautiful winter wall hanging.
I love to watch you make beautiful quilts
Love these!! I prefer the white. Thanks for the pattern!
I can’t decide on which of the two I enjoy more. Most likely the hummingbird panel since I love the hummingbird and morning glories. Thank you once again for all you do for us!❤️. Finally, thank you for you generous opportunity to enter your giveaway!

It’s so beautiful that I ordered the kit before you even got started. 🥰
I love watching your videos, Donna. Thank you. I like both, but I think if the black one had a black binding it would look even better.
White, I normally like black but the white is so sharp. Thank you again for wonderful tutorial.
I love the hummingbird!!! But I think I like the black background a little more. Both are beautiful as always!!!
I really like the French door! I made a quilt out of the cabin panel and. So happy with it!!
I normally like black, but for this quilt I like the white!!
The hummingbird white sashing option. Great job, as always.
SUPER NICE! Thank you Donna Jordan!!
They both look beautiful! I’d opt for white but that’s only because we have white window frames in our home so it’s easier for me to visualise. Many thanks for a great tutorial 🙂
Such a marvelous idea Donna! Thank you!

Great idea...Billowing curtains...how to achieve that look on a quilt...?
@@ellaliddle1591 ++++
Like them both very much however. The baby hummingbirds in my backyard would lovethe colors from the white one better🌸
Beautifully done🌸
I love them both. You are such a great quilt maker and great teacher.
Love this idea. I prefer the white sashing this time.
How do you get your fabrics to match so evenly at the beginning and end of your stitching rows without using a walking foot? Yes, I set my tension on the machine, and am extremely careful not to pullor stretch the fabrics. Any assistance is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
You are a great teacher and I enjoy your videos. Thank you!
White framing. Will be doing this with a panel I have on hand!
Ahhh superbe !! Merci Donna ! I The dark one it's my ''préféré'' Have a nice day to you and Matt and thank's for the Giveway !!
I think you chose appropriate sashing for each panel.

I like the white one better, but I like that whole panel much better. Both are beautiful.
Donna please show us how you would hang these panel quilts up on a wall!
I used curtain rods and clips from Walmart to hang 2 on my wall.
I use push pins to hang up the smaller quilts in my house.
I agree with every one each time I feel I can a new quilt thank you Mrs Jordan
I love the white trim on the quilt. Both colors are gorgeous but the white is outstanding IMO anyways...great job Donna.
LOVE THE POP OF THIS!!
This would look great in attic window blocks
I usually like Black because I makes everything POP! However, I like the white one this time, I think because I love the panel as well.
Both are beautiful! Thank you for wonderful tutorials, Donna! I appreciate you more than you'll ever know. Marlys Cordes
