I thought this was way too complicated at first, but Donna made it so easy to follow, and it turns out I was scared of the secondary design that you only see once the blocks are combined! I love that it's all HSTs and strips in the end, will be ordering the design for my winter quilt making!
I’ve done two quilts (as a beginner) with the tube strip technique and they are really fun and easy! Donna has done tutorials on several of these patterns and they’re always so fun to watch and learn from.
I have the large Strip Tube Ruler from "Cozy Quilts"; it's very easy to use & the hst's come out perfect! Love this quilt ( it's at the top of my list).
As soon as you showed the quilt I thought that would be great with the Collection of Morris fabrics that I have, so I was really surprised when you selected the same fabric!

I love Donna's piecing tutorials but the thing I appreciate even more about your videos in particular is showing the machine quilting. Choosing the thread color and design is something you don't often find on other quilting tutorials, and watching that machine work it's magic is so mesmerizing! I am guilty of sometimes just skipping to the end to watch the quilting. Keep up the good work Jordan Fabrics! ❤️

This is one of the prettiest quilts that you have made! I am blown away at how it turned out because I was unimpressed at the choice of fabrics when this video first started. Boy, was I wrong! The pieced border really did the trick, changing a so-so quilt into a show- stopper! You are a master at paring fabric collections with quilt patterns. Thank you for sharing each week!
Love the choice of fabric Donba made for this quilt, it's beautiful. Donba every time you make a quilt, iether the pattern or the fabrics make me think "that would be nice for one of my family".
If only I could have mine quilted on a longarm but it's too expensive here so I usually do straight or wiggly lines to finish mine. Thanks for sharing your inspiration and knowledge. 💐👏

The fabrics are amazing, colors perfect and the fabric patterns are so Art Nouveau - they remind me of Aubrey Beardsley's work. I never thought they would work together but they absolutely do - and the quilting pattern just added another dimension perfectly. Your ability to put things together while it has been polished by your experience - it must come from the heart. Thank you Donna! I love what you did here!
Love this pattern... I have a goal of completing quilts for my sons this year and this pattern will most definitely work for one son, using his favorite coastal theme. Thank you Donna for continuing inspiration.
Toni, great idea! BTW, if you don't have the "Strip Tube Ruler by Cozy Quilts", it's a must have! I have the larger size (it does everything in smaller & larger HST's vs. the smaller ruler).
