I absolutely love it when you show more than one quilt done of the same pattern. It’s so helpful and fun to see different layouts and colors. Thank you!
My thoughts exactly. Jenny has keptbmy family sane through this pandemic. Everybody is learning to quilt at our place. Its fun and a great family activity I would have never thought I would give a rat's raggedy about! We found out how cool the quilting community is.
I am taking a zoom tutorial this morning with the sisters. I love the different layouts for this quilt. Watching your tutorials, which they suggested, is so helpful. Thanks
Every time she brought out a quilt, I’d think, “oh! That’s my favorite!” Then she’d bring out another one! All are just gorgeous! Thanks Jenny and MSQC! Love this tutorial. As always!
This one is going on the list! I also love that Jenny is a lefty like me, it is a rare treat to get walk-throughs and tutorials that I don’t have to mentally mirror right away.
Love star pattern quilts but especially love it when Jenny teaches us how to make a complicated looking block and She makes it easy to understand. The block resembles the hunters star to me, which is also a favorite. Love the quilt show at the end too. All those beautiful colors and amazing quilting designs, Awesome. Thank You Missouri Star and Material Girlfriends :)
Wow, how beautiful! I love that you highlight other's creations, Ms. Missouri Star Quilt Co. It's awesome! Those are gorgeous quilts, so many interesting varieties. Gotta make one!!!!
Thank you Jenny and Natalie and Material Girlfriends for a great new Star quilt tutorial. I loved all the different ways to make it! All the quilts are very beautiful!! Again thank you!
I’ve always loved the Hunters Star block. There’s a great ruler from Studio 180 Designs (Deb Tucker) that makes a slightly oversized block with all the trimming lines for squaring the blocks. The method in this pattern allows you to make a scrappy star so both ways have their use. Beautiful quilts. TFS Jenny!
OMGosh! Another beautiful pattern to add to the list! I love all the fun colors and especially the prints on light background fabric! Way to go Missouri Star & Material Girlfriends!! 🥰
Jenny thank you for highlighting the Material Girlfriend block. I have many of their kits and patterns and I just love them! This quilt has so much movement. It’s adorable.
What a fun block and the variety of quilts made from it are amazing. Thank you Jenny for introducing us to the Material Girlfriends and breaking down the block construction.
Love Missouri Star Quilt Co & Love the Material Girlfriends! Lisa and Lora (The Material Girlfriends) presented at my Guild this week and I am making the "Forrest Fire" (orange & black) colorway - It is so gorgeous! Thank you Jenny for featuring the Material Girlfriends and their Confetti Hunter Star Quilt Pattern!!
Oh my gosh!! What great examples & I LOVE Lori Holt's lines anyway but the ones the Material Girlfriends did are amazing! Such different layouts that I wouldn't think of.
Jenny, you're killing me! LOL! I also stay up late to see the latest video. And your showcasing of other quilters like Fabric Cafe and now Material Girlfriends is another reflection of your big heart.
These samples that they sent for Jenny to share are THE MOST GORGEOUS quilts I've seen on here ! How wonderful ! Thank you, Jenny, for bringing us this design !
What a great tutorial! I especially like the variation with the light blocks all in the middle and the darker pieces on the edges; kind of a traditional meets modern look. Don't even need to add a border, it does it all by itself! Another pattern to add to my growing "to do" list.
Wow, just amazing. It’s like I have to study the quilt to take the piecing technique into my brain. Love the different colour combinations. Thank you for sharing. You guys are one of the best. 👍❤️😊
I love this pattern. I am so glad you showed this. I will need to get the corner tool. I usually avoid blocks that don’t totally line up because I am too new to quilting. I am glad they sent all the quilt examples because it gave me more quilting possibilities! Thanks for the great demo!
I’m going to make this one with a mix of brights with black for the background. Great pattern, and I have the 2.5” ruler and the same rotating mat! I’m excited to get going on it. Thank you!!
I love this and made one block to try out my color combination. My sewing group said this is also called Hunter Star block. I didn’t even see that but it’s one of those I never thought I’d be able to make. Thank you so much for teaching this!
Now, I don't normally like holiday themed quilts, BUT... that orange and black quilt was stunning! I guess it doesn't have to be considered a Halloween quilt though. LOVE this idea!!!
Desde hace 8 años hago Quilts por tu culpa!!!!....busqué en youtube y me atrapaste..".it's a fun proyect" it's an esay quilt"..tu y.tú sonrisa me cautivaron.. He visto muchas presentadores, maestros, he aprendido de todos ellos. Pero de vez , en vez, vuelvo a ti :"La mamá de todas!" Hoy te noté cansada y un poco delgada ? Espero que sólo sea una percepción mia o un día muy ajetreado para ti. Deseo que estés muy bien de salud y así sigas por muuucho tiempo. Eres de las mías!
Wow! You know math GENIUSES think in shapes too but they don't think in colors! And they don't have to make perfect seams or sew the shapes together. Gee, Jenny, you are REALLY smart!❤🙋
