I am always excited to see what your fingernails will look like for each video. Whoever does them, they do an excellent job! Thank you for sharing. Amen
Me too. I’m always looking at her nails.
Sometimes tho they're distracting
🎉I like the brighter one
I love the Batik quilt. I like the contrast and the background isn’t a typical white or black.
Blue Prints are so much more calming. That's my vote.
Love the Batiks and bright colors
You often pull colors together that I wouldn’t think of to make beautiful quilts. I think I like the batik best but love both. Thank you for another fantastic tutorial.
Both lovely quilts, tho I am drawn to the batiks quilt -- Autumn colors -- absolutely lovely! Golly, Donna, you continue to work so hard. I often think of this. Thank you for all of us quilters of varied experience, and the-frozen-in-place quilters like me to make that first cut.
The batik is stunning! I love bold colors and I never worry about coordinating with other things in my home. The more colors the happier I am!
Mein Liebling ist der blau-braune! Danke für eure tollen Videos. Gruß aus Wien/Austria
I love love love the batik quilt. That's the kind of color statement that one can build an entire room's design around! How bold and inspiring that room would be!
I really like the batik version, especially with the gold background color and the orchid inner border. POP!
Both quilts are nice, but the color choices in the batik quilt are absolutely inspired. Beautifully done Donna
I like the X quilt and the quilt with the designer's original fabric choices. However they all are lovely.....they are quilts after all. Thank you for the video 😊👍💕
The color blue is my favorite color but the batik quilt wins my vote for this quilt. I like the contrast of the background without it being so stark like the white against the blue of the first quilt. You’ve opened minds to other possibilities! And as always, such a great job of teaching.
Batiks, batiks, batiks. Layout #3 big cross. Great work as usual and great editing very balanced. Congratulations.
I love watching the longarm work. It stitches so perfectly. The Batik fabrics are my favorite. Thank you Donna for brightening our day!
I am afraid that I also like both of the quilts, and can not decide which one I like the best. Thanks again for great instructions.
Both quilts are so different and both are gorgeous! For me, I prefer the printed one. It’s amazing how just tweaking the colors can change the look so much.
Since I like blue, the printed quilt is my choice. It is amazing that 3 different quilts can be made by the arrangement of the blocks. I so much appreciate your videos!
The Nuno pattern looks like Jacobs Ladder pattern to me. Love both of your choices.
I thought the same thing.
Yes it does!
The colors of the batik quilt are stunning the quilt is more traditional
Well, now you’ve gone and done it! I would normally vote for the brown and blue one, but in this instance the batik one won out. I also really liked the “x” layout as well! Looking forward to the next one! Happy quilting! 🧵
Such beautiful Nuno pattern blocks. I love the layout chosen in your video. It highlights the comparison between bright batiks and more sedate indigos and brown hues. My favorite quilt is the batik one. It exudes great warmth and strength. Jams with WOW for me. Learning quite a lot of quilting skills this year, thanks to you Donna and Mat. Spent the weekend with my husband setting up a Gracie Machine Quilting table in our renovated previous guest room. I'm very excited to work up many practice projects. Goal is to complete a few 'ready' pieced tops and keep on sewing!
I am a batik gal and love bold colors…so the batik quilt version is my favorite! I like every possible arrangement and see myself making each. Will be a good, quick pattern to have on hand for those times a need arises unexpectedly. Will be ordering the pattern today! Thanks for another great tutorial!
My vote goes to the blue and brown prints quilt! 😍😍😍
LOVE the dramatic colors of the Batiks! Another great tutorial. TY.
I love love love the batik one.
I really liked the batik Nuno quilt! So Pretty!!!
I love batiks and really thought that the batik quilt was pretty but when you brought out the blue and brown one, I just fell in love with that one! It's amazing how they can be so similar but look completely different side by side.
The one with the batiks is my favorite, so rich & beautiful!!!
Love Jacob's Ladder quilts. So many fun layouts. Both are wonderful! Can't decide!
The batik quilt is warm and happy and is my favorite
I like Layout #3 the best, with the big "X". It piques my imagination more than the others, for color placement and quilting space. Donna, the Clematis design was such a good choice for this quilt, and I have to agree with the bobbin choice, as well.
I like 1, then 3, then 2. All are beautiful!
Thank you, Donna, for another fun tutorial. I like it when you make same quilt in two different colorways, and I like the print one the best. Looking forward to the next one already.
I like the batik quilt. It’s bright and happy. I love it!
I love the batik quilt and its warm colors. The dark quilting in the orchid color thread is a nice change of pace, since you don't often choose darker threads.
I really really love the Batik quilt so much color.
Absolutely love the warm earth tones. This looks more welcoming to me than the original colors. Thank you for showing the difference between the two.
Love the batik!
Love the blue quilt, but I also love the earth tones the best, now where do t find the pattern for these also I enjoyed the video so much.please leave a message on my fb message.thank you.
🤦♀️ I have never thought of trimming off the confusing zig-zag edge. OMGosh, I can't BELIEVE I have not done that. Thank you
I love the Batiks one you made. It looks so rich. Thank you for sharing your time and expertise ❤❤❤❤❤
The batik quilt looks warm and cozy
Love the blue color. It goes with everything. Thank you for all your tutorials, Donna.
I am really enjoying watching your videos. I am new to quilting and you are helping me with my confidence. I really like the pink Nuno quilt.
I like the bright, happy batiks better. Your choice of coordinating backgrounds and prints is always spot on. I would make all three versions using different fabric, but I prefer the third one you showed. I anxiously await your weekly tutorial. You are a very beautiful lady with a pleasant voice and an accomplished quilter. Have a great year of quilting!
The batik quilt is definitely my favorite. I did like the second layout a lot. But all three are gorgeous.
I vote for the warm and inviting colours of the batik quilt and can see endless possibilities with other batiks. I love playing the guessing game with your choice of quilting thread and most often pick the same one as you, this time my pick would have been the rust but I can see how the pink picks up the balancing colours. Also love watching your machine create the quilting pattern!
Love batiks, and the choice of thread is so complimentary.
So hard to pick a favorite. I love the blues and browns, but the batiks are so beautiful. You and Matt have really made me appreciate batiks..I love the way you both put the colors together. No wonder you use them so often. I would be like a kid in a candy store being around them so much.
❤the bright colored one so very bright and beautiful
Loved both of the quilt colour combos. The blue and white one just had the edge for me! Thank you again for another great tutorial. ❤️
Blue is my favorite color so of course anything in that color will be my favorite ❤️
Thanks Donna for another beautiful quilt. They are all gorgeous but the first one (Yucatá)is my favorite as well. I appreciate that you take the time to show us all the options. Much appreciated! ❤😊
Just wonderful. I enjoy sharing these videos with my mom.
The quilting really finished off the quilt so nicely - I always love watching this part of the video. Another beautiful *BATIK* finish 🥰
Hi Donna , I absolutely love the Batik Quilt . The colors are so beautiful - the golden , the red and Purple colors are beautiful . ❤❤
Its simple yet elegant the Quilt . Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us .😘
I’m a color person. I love the color combination of the batiks. I also love the second layout best because I’m not a fan of square quilts but that one could be extended to a regular size quilt. I love squaring up the blocks. That combined with nice big blocks, it’ll come together quickly and show a nice big background for a wonderful quilt design. I’m sure I’ll be thinking about it all day. Thanks for all your hard work. You and your crew are amazing. ❤
They’re both pretty but I’m a purple gal so I’m in love with the batiks. Gorgeous!
You blow me away every time! I loved the first quilt you made, if it was going to be on my bed. I really wondered what you were thinking when you put the colors together for the batik quilt, but I kept watching and was VERY happy with your quilt. The colors together made me happy! Thank you for always expanding my mind!
I love the batiks. The colors are warm and comforting.
While the printed one is nice, I must say I really like the batik one better.
I concur… Batiks ❤
I love blue, but I have to say I am really drawn to the bright batik version.
Love the batik quilt.
Right? And those warm golds, rusts and browns are *so* not my colours. But they really work so well together, don’t they? Maybe I need to get out of my colour comfort zone sometimes. Donna sure does inspire that kind of sense of adventure!
the print is my favorite, it is a lovely blend of blues and browns.
Batik pops with vibrant colors! I especially enjoyed seeing the dark quilting thread and clematis pattern. You keep knocking the bar higher for every quilt you make. Thank you for showing the various designs and fabric choices explaining your reasoning.
❤️ the batik one. Like the other one. Thanks for another great video.
I lean toward warm colors and so really loved the batik one. It was quite stunning! I thought you were going to go with the 3rd layout and was thrilled you went with the 1st one because that was my favorite as well. I also appreciated your showing how you used the leftover squares for the main border. Thanks for the excellent tutorial.
I love the batik one. Thank you Donna for sharing....
I love, love, love the batik quilt. The colors are so warm. It is amazing how different the quilt feel by using different fabrics.
Love your hair, too, Donna!
The colours, the pattern, and the quilting makes one gorgeous quilt! I so love the batik one! 😍😍😍
Love the blue one best. Thank you for all your videos. So fun to watch and learn!
Love, love the batik quilt! Gorgeous rich colors. Thank you for showing such different versions of fabrics. Love your tutorials Donna!
Thank you for making such wonderful quilting videos. I love how you take a pattern and show it made in two different fabrics. Both quilts are beautiful, but my personal preference is the print version. My favorite layout is #1. I like the way you made the outer border. Sometimes I have a layer cake on my shelf with no additional matching yardage. Your border solves that problem instantly. Thanks again!
It’s hard to choose! I like 1 and 3. Thank you for sharing this pattern with the 3 choices. I see doing this in my foreseeable future!
Love the one you made. It's warm, cozy.
All three are just as beautiful as the next, but in having to choose just one, I would have to say that #2 sort of popped when you showed that one! Great job on all of them, and I think the fabric selection for this pattern is just perfect! Impressed as always with your artistic and crafty eye! Beautiful! Thank you, Donna for these fabulous teachings! I am definitely going to have to get this pattern!
I love the blues and the brown quilt
Thank you for showing both color ways. You are such an inspiration to me. I have become more creative and “daring” with fabric choices since I have been your raving fan. Also love shopping the website.
I love the batik one! It's bold and really makes a statement.
I absolutely love the batik one. So vibrant!
I love both patterns but I think I like the yellows and reds best. This looks simple enough. I’m going to try it. 🎉
Donna the colors you’ve chosen are great. Every Quilt you make is beautiful! I love how the dark thread looks against the yellow.
I love the batik quilt best. Of course, I just LOVE batiks!
I really love the colors of the printed one! Also, when you were laying out the blocks for the batik fabric, I loved the second one you did. I think you can't lose which one you pick though, as they're all gorgeous.
Donna, you have the vision to see the potential in a fabric collection, that I lack. Skeptical of this batik group, I saw the gorgeous finished quilt, both pattern and fabric, and again I was amazed. You’re gifts inspire me to create, and you’re technics make the easier. The batik was overwhelming my favorite. 😊
I love the bright colors of the batik quilt
I love the printed one because of the colors. The batik is beautiful too. 14:41
Batik… but honestly Donna, you make everything look fantastic!!!
Definitely the batiks. Love those colors!
I love the first layout and the third one. Good choice.
I love the printed quilt probably because I would hang it in my hallway which has a large window with similar colour curtains. Love it.
THE WINE AND COLORS OF GOLD ARE AWESOME LIKE #1PATTERN BEST BUT YOU CAN MAKE IT ALLL BEAUTIFUL AND EASY
Batiks win my vote and I like #3 the best. Thank you for sharing!!
The batiks 😍 voting from the Philippines🇵🇭
Both are beautiful, BUT, the Batik has my heart.
The really like the earth tone batik quilt. Thank you for your excellent tutorials.
I can’t decide either! I am not a batik person and, but the colors you used are beautiful. The Yukata fabric is more traditional, therefore would fit in my decor better.
Ukraine! Thank you Donna! Super!
I love the one with sashing. It’s beautiful
Love the batik, so colorful!
I liked the blue and brown. Both are pretty.
I really like the dark one best! Thank you, for all of the tutorials you teach. This is how I learned to quilt!!! I just started sewing in 2020. I did not have a sewing machine until then. From Diane Sand
The batik quilt is stunning
I love the batik quilt just such a warm feel too!
