Great work Levi! The hand held gimbals sure have improved! I have only tried the DJI osmo 2018, this looks like more mature product.

Great video in which you show that you can make good videos without too expensive gear. Of course there's a difference, but phones, action cams and all other types of cameras are so good nowadays that the quality and form of storytelling increasingly depends on the person who is behind the camera. Great work!
to be fair the 15 pro is not "budget" but I certainly agree that what we can do with minimal easy to access tools is better than ever. The whole range of tools we have is fantastic

awesome video, but can't help to feel weird seeing insta360 seemingly try and do all the things gopro tried and failed to do, because the customers just weren't there, after their initial success. Wonder if things are gonna play out better the second time around.

I really enjoyed this video and it makes me excited to get out and see what I can do with the IPhone 15 pro max and my new insta 360 flow. Can we make it clear that this gimbal will not support a freewell Sherpa case and the magnetic ND filters. It almost can but then loses it. With the standard IPhone 15, case and filter I’m pretty sure it does a nifty job!

@@Levi_Allen hi Levi, I am also pretty new to filming in apple log but have really enjoyed using other insta360 consumer cameras such the one RS with the extended selfie stick to give you some really interesting shots and effects (mental note; the insta flow on the extended selfie stick with face tracking could give some amazing crane style shots right?!) but I’ve always found 360 footage to be subpar in terms of quality to be fair. But apple log footage is a game changer with mobile film making when combined with the black magic app and magnetic nd filters. Sorry if it came across as rude when I said ‘can we make it clear’ I just meant that for people new to this type of filming they might assume that you can use a pro max with the insta 360 flow and a case and nd filter like you do in your video with the 15 pro. But this would just exceed the payload of the flow. I just use the flow with the pro max and case, and if I want to add a filter and mic or mic receiver and external ssd I use a small rig video cage and walk like a ninja 🤣👍🏼.
Hey Levi, great video as always I see you have the new PolaPro LiteChaser 15. Do you know for the Insta360 gimbal if it would support the iPhone 15 Pro Max with the PolarPro LiteChaser 15 case and ND?
From my napkin math, I think that might be pushing the recommended 300g max. My setup was around 270 I think. You might be able to make it work, but that’s just my hunch.
@@Levi_Allen I calculated and from your 270g the iPhone 15Pro is 187g which means that your additional setup was around 83g which sums up to 304g for the 15Pro Max (221g). Which is 4g more then the max supported limit as per Insta website...I think with slow movements it could work or, maybe, counter balance. Thank you for the quick reply. Great work as always!
Good job. How did you run in Log mode without losing AI features ?
There is a screen streaming feature that's a little tough to explain. but it's the same way you use it during live streams on an iPhone, etc. If you google singing insta360 app for live streams, that's the method I used
What is meant by "60 frames internal" + "didnt want to mess with external ssd whatever stuff" ? (at the 18 min mark)
You can record 60fps in log with the Blackmagic app. If you do it with the native camera app you need to connect an ssd to the phone for it to record in prores.
