I can not stress enough that the 14 day Film Maker is one of the best investments I’ve made. Anthony is not only a master in the subject, but he is really a master as teaching and explaining so well all the theory and practical tips. The Content Creator platform (where the course lives at) is really well built and of easy access to all the videos FOREVER! Awesome videos Anthony, thank you for sharing all your expertise!
My GOD. This was absolutely superb. I've never seen your channel and I wrote down about 15 tips to try out. Supremely great. Going to check out the course also
I learned more in this 22 minute video than I have watching COUNTLESS other ones. WOW! I'm running-not walking-to sign up for the 14-day Filmmaker class!
I bought the 14 day filmmaker course for just $49 on a special..i was sceptical of what I'd get for that price but was blown away once I stated it..so much in depth content its unbelievable
As I progress through the course, I’m ignoring all other information here on YT and focusing on your content only. I’m learning so much and only one day in!!! I’m so very thrilled to find the course yesterday! I’ve been binging content across the YT environment for years and believe I can finally put this information into my brain in order lol!!! I’m taking meticulous notes throughout so I can reference them at anytime! 👏👏👏
These are amazing tips! I would love to hear tips for solo travelers who can only shoot with a gimbal or tripod and still want movement in their shots.
Two questions: 1) Let's say you're filming solo, and you want to have a shot of yourself, slowly zooming in. So you set up a tripod. Can smartphone videos do the slow zoom in automatically? Is that a feature? I've never heard that as a feature actually. 2) The telephoto lens by Sandmarc, it appears the clip is a separate accessory? It looks like the lens itself screws onto the camera phone lens, specific to each phone, I think. Great tips thanks!
Instead of recording the zoom in camera you would use your Editing program to keyframe a subtle zoom in! Much easier and you have the flexibility to use or not use the zoom
We are newbys understanding our iPhone 14 phones/cameras. After watching this video, we decided to sign up for your 14-Day Filmmaker. We are RV content creators and I have all the camera gear and drone but it will take time to learn everything I should know about that equipment before I/we get videos on our RUclips channel. The one thing that is a constant is that I/we always have my iPhone with me and with that said, I took the plunge and decided to learn everything I can about iPhone video content now. Thank you for this video and the chance to learn more.
That sounds super cool! I did a road trip around the country in a school bus years ago and wish I had the phone I have now back then. Would’ve made documenting the trip so much easier. Can’t wait to see what you create
Great tips! I also find that having a “soundtrack” in mind, like a specific piece of music or song that would suit the location and the resulting video, can be helpful to determine the pacing, mood and feel of the clips.
Every individual is shaped differently n so is their perception of Cinematography.... Tips are great but end of the day you are unique and so is ur taste... Be yourself and keep in mind the cinema or vlog clips that fascinate you... Ull make several mistakes but learn from it.... No best vlogger has been his best from day 1.... I was a novice to shooting techniques n had zero idea of editing just one year ago plus I'm a single traveler (no shooting help) n started with just a S22 ultra in hand ... I played with editing apps, shooting methods... inshot works great for me on phone and I keep thinking every moment better techniques of editing n shooting... when u r dedicated, ull be better everyday... All the best guys and great tips here 👍
I've been filming with Samsung Galaxy 21 ultra so far travelling in india and thailand it's been great! Can't wait to test out 23 ultra! Thank you for pro tips!
Thanks for the amazing tips and ideas. The Smartphone Filmmaker is a great course, as well. I keep going back to it for inspiration, reminders on filming and information.
Superb content. I am a first-time viewer. This just came across my feed and I immediately subscribed. Very concise, no wasted time, to the point with good info. Can't wait to see your other videos.
omg ur so awesome for not gatekeeping your knowledge on content creation! learning so much from you! def looking forward to taking your masterclass! very inspiring!
Great video, one thing though - story is the most important aspect of every video. Great transitions, lighting, sequences, etc. don’t matter if the story is boring AF
Wow, love these ideas, coincidentally, I was looking for these gears, but I was a little unsure of phone camera lenses. Going to purchase them now. Thanks!❤
Fantastic and helpful video as always! A public video on storytelling in travel videos would be fantastic. It’s not just pretty shots, but making a viewer feel something and that’s probably harder than framing and transitions.
This is my first video of yours. To say that I am happy that I found you would be an understatement! I feel as though I’ve been catapulted from kindergarten film school to university! I’ve already started taking notes from your clever and amazing pointers. I look forward to absorbing the rest of your videos. Cheers!
Worth noting that Final Cut Pro X on the Mac (and iPad) is super friendly with HDR footage. The newest version also will automatically grade SDR footage added to an HDR timeline (and vice versa) so the footage blends together.
I only clicked on this video because of the gimbal in the thumbnail. I had no plans on watching the whole video, but there was soooo much good info i watched til the very last second! Great tips! I learned so much! Just subscribed!
Such great info. Thank you! I’m wondering how people film travel vlogs solo, especially if they want to film themselves walking. Aren’t they afraid their camera will get stolen?
Great video learned a lot. What do you do with the footage after you transfer it to the computer? When it’s safe to delete the clips from the iPhone. Thanks.
thanks so much, I have 2 channels, and you make me want to leave the house and video outside (not a travel vlogger). Thanks so much, I am going to try using these techniques for my personal holiday trips.
I'm speechless 🙊 😂 I thought I needed a gimbal, etc. I used to have Huawei mate 10 (no stabilisation) then i bought Zhiyun Smooth Q, but I don't use it anymore because i have s23 Ultra now. I can't wait to use s23 ultra for holiday. 9:37 was an amazing shot. I just subscribed to your channel.
im your 149th K subscriber thank you for your knowledge..... Im not vloger but I want to learn video editing even I don't have luxurious materials or gadgets just a simple cheap phone and laptop. I hope you will continue this platform for the benefits of out of school one that don't have money for proper education in video editing course
Hands down. One of the most well-explained and practical videos I have come across lately. It’s a great tutorial and includes most of the elements I look for in a cinematic tutorial. Thanks for this wonderful tutorial. You aren’t in Delhi else I would have offered you coffee. Here’s a sub to the channel.
Great video. I came across your channel while searching for ways to improve my vacation videos. I just purchase a new DJI gimbal for my trip to Mexico for the first time and wanted my experience to be memorable. Your video taught me so much.Keep up the great work.

Hi, I'm considering getting the course. Does it teach how to do educational style travel videos ie travel guides?
We don’t specifically cover that one type of video but everything we teach would 100% apply!
Thanks. This will help for my next video I would like to do.
