I'm in the same boat as you. My daughter is 18 months, and my son is 6 months. As tough as it may be sometimes, nothing makes me happier than seeing my kids smile

Nothing wrong with taking a pause to recover and refocus. In a strange sense it's good that you are struggling with the work/life balance. It tells us that you are passionate about both! Nothing changes your life quite like children. :-) Congratulations on Amber and Jasper! ❤️
Enjoy being a dad, take your time and don’t waste any. Kids will always remember what they did and who was around and not the material things they had. Great vid

Great video. I have a 6 month old daughter and wow i hardly have time to do anything but take care of her lol It is difficult to find a balance however i am thankful every day! congrats on the beautiful family!

Dude! I feal ya, At one point it was just me and my Son, then I met my partner and she brought her two with her. Few years later BAM! SUPRISE TWINS!! We sold my small condo and bought a 160 year old home moving from the big city into a small town and its beautiful. Having so many little ones instantly changed our perspective on life and the value of family. Congrats on the family !!

Man, this video couldn’t have come at a better time. As I write this, my son is 9 months old and we’re thinking about having another soon. My mental health has been a roller coaster of ups and downs this past year, especially when it comes to work & family balance and the identity issues that come with it. I resonated with so much of this video (even down to catching every cold my son’s had!). Thanks for taking time to make this and remind me some of this struggle is just part of the journey to becoming a father. ❤️

Dad Levi looks so happy. It's been amazing seeing you grow over the years to where you are now. As someone a few years behind, it gives me hope that there are a lot of good times ahead.

It is good to see you all alive and well. With Covid still around many people go back to work and start catching all kinds of nasty bugs. So many of my colleagues have been ill lately. I keep wearing masks when we all meetup and I keep my distance. So far so good, but with young children it is a whole other story. Our oldest daughter works at a kindergarten, she was ill for months. Covid, flu, and sneezing for weeks. We kept our distance and helped them by getting groceries and bring those to their house.
I hope, some day soon we will all go back and make new stuff. Today my week of 24/7 shift ended and I decided to take the afternoon off. Go hiking on an island and bring my camera gear. A start after a very long pause. Baby steps towards a the next part of life together with our little four legged friend who enjoys a day in 'the wild'.
All the best to you all. Make stuff when you can, but keep having fun with your family!

So cool to see you with the family again. My kids are a little older, so it was fun to remember those feelings of having toddlers again. I've come to the conclusion that the only way to grow my video stuff in any meaningful way is to include the kids in that journey. So if your pace slows down as a result of having your priorities in the right place, then keep it slow. Some opportunities only come once. Loved seeing you again.

Thanks for sharing , great seeing how the kids are coming along! Prioritise and enjoy. We have three boys, the first two only 13 month apart. With them now being 17, 16 and the wee one 6 I can attest to time passing in the blink of an eye. Each stage is amazing, and yes at times parenthood is unfathomable 😂. For sure I’ve learned more about myself and the world through them than any job… great to see you back on.

Life is better when you have Kids! Lovely episode Levi! I have to say having kids has enriched my life more than anything else. I really had no idea how crazy the journey would be but now, looking back having two young adults launched into their own independent lives, I'm just stunned by all of it. You four have so much in front of you. Congratulations on surviving the first two years. Best Health!

My lovely daughters are 27 and 25 and yes it's the hardest thing my wife and I have done, but it's also the most rewarding thing we have done.

I think that it is great that a lot of fathers are thinking about not missing out on their kids lives. I for sure have limited my "career" so i could be home. But unfortunitly i still have been gone a lot, and some of that is doing videos on the side/youtube. keep life in perspective. 1. God, 2. Wife, 3. Kids, 4 everything else.

Speaking as a Dad of four adult children, I keep asking myself what happened, it went by so quick. Take as many breaks as you need, family comes first.

We are in the same situation.. 2 sons 1 year 5 months between them
Biggest difference is between 2 and 3 kids. If you have 3 then most of the regular cars are too small to fit safety sits for all of them :)
Is it only me who finds it funny that these young parents talk about how hard it's been, apparently they don't know about the "terrible twos" yet!!! lolol. Love the excitement of parenting though, especially in this crazy world 🤫🤔🤣
I really do not understand why put like this want to blast their own children all over RUclips and the internet for someone to see….i would never wish anything bad to happen to anyones child but damn how stupid can you be to take that risk with all the crazy psychos in the world today!
