That actually goes into my 'Filmmaking Gold' Playlist. I think most people will underestimate the Pitch Meeting usecase!
Tip from my use of a Padcaster Parrot teleprompter... they're inexpensive and okay for small / light / portable, but the spring-loaded mechanism that clamps the phone in below the mirror is a PITA. You need two hands to do it, and I often found myself accidentally locking the phone in the process, having to then take it out and start again.
Spend just a bit more and get a more flexible solution!

I use the SmallRig Teleprompter for iPad and it works great! No fabric to deal with at all and it breaks down very quickly.

I've been looking for this exact explanation. The team at Muse Storytelling does all their interviews this way and it always made me wonder how they got it dialed in. I bought a cheap on and it's causing a lot of small issues. I have rig my laptop to fit under it, each is not ideal, or use a Feelworld 5" monitor.

great video. do a lot of work with live streamers and have been working with content creators for 20+ years. Teleprompters can change the game for sure. Any thoughts or considerations about the Elgato Teleprompter? I think they made a great leap into this lane.
We have 10+ teleprompters in the FluidPrompter studio for comparisons/testing. The Elgato is fantastic for the audience it was designed for - mostly people sitting at a desk like gaming content live streamers. It's great for its price point in Elgato's primary market. However, the angle of the mirror and distance to the screen are permanently fixed (no adjustability at all) and is setup to be optimal for an above the eye line position looking a little downward (because of the mirror angle and screen position). The screen is also a relatively low resolution, below 1080p and relatively low brightness (not for outdoor use). Levi touches on adjustability at 12:14. So it you want to step away from the desk/computer, perhaps even with natural sunlight in the room or outdoors or position it at or below eyeline - these PrompterPeople prompters are really a step up (but yes the price is there to reflect that adjustability/quality). That said, at your desk beside your computer, the Elgato may well have a leg up on PrompterPeople in terms of price/simplicity. I used my new Elgato for my last software architecture presentation at work (typical corporate powerpoint kind of thing with a laptop) and I use my PrompterPeople for a RUclips studio setup where it is slightly below eyeline. Both fine products but for different use cases.

That's a Prompter People Monitor you can see the Logo on it.
I am normally a fan of this channel and the use cases here are useful of course to those who have never understood the potential of a teleprompter but is there any chance of avoiding over using the phrase “levelling up”. When the vocabulary is fluid and natural its great but every so often RUclipsrs feel the need to address making any improvement as a means to “level up”. Lets not be lazy with language please. Thx

@KenFlanagan, Is there anything specifically you don't like about "Level up?" I've been saying that in my videos for years as a by-product of my 'always-wanting-to-improve attitude' and this is the first I've heard from someone not liking it. I don't mind making an adjustment, I've changed my phrasing on several things over the years and always appreciate the feedback. I don't often write scripts for videos, and I didn't for this one so I'm not sure what to say about the fluid and natural complaint part as that's just simply how I talk : )
