Hello, Michael. LOVE your videos. Curious to know what you clear coated with? General Finishes suggested not using any clear coat with a white poly for fear of yellowing. I turst your expertise. Also, can General Finishes White Poly be applied by brush, roller, or pad in lieu of spray gun? Thanks so much! I wish you worked on Long Island. I would hire you in a heartbeat!

Marianne DeAngelo thank you! GF just added that to the cans late last year, it was not on there for many years. I’d guess people over applied and experienced yellowing. Just about any clear coat is going to slightly change the color no matter what you do. I would not suggest brushing and rolling GF White poly, at least not on doors. It dries really fast. Your best bet would be to get a really cheap airless sprayer and spray the doors and brush and roll the bases

How long did you wait to clear over it? How many clear coats?
