Those quiz arcade games are evidently considered an integral part of Capcom's history and they're always referenced in their crossover games. They're not "random" characters in Japan. They even made one of those quiz game characters playable in Tatsunoko vs Capcom (Saki).

The guy who made the divorce claim was completely unfounded and his details went against what was shown in the leaked images. It doesn't make sense for Eliza to leave him because of fighting considering in SF4 he was the one who didn't want to go, but she convinced him to.
That whole Ken being divorced thing isn’t true. Eliza has always been supportive of Ken and Ken fights to protect his family so that being the reason why he looks like that in 6 is completely false. Most likely Ken is going through a character arc like Ryu where he’s trying to find his own path in fighting. It can also be just his casual appearance since he doesn’t look homeless. He’s not wearing his Gi. He’s wearing red sweatpants, sneakers, and a coat. He’s not divorced at all or that Mel died

The thing I've been trying to figure out. Is who owns the rights to the character? It's clear who predators IP holder is. Aliens as well. But for Kurosawa it's unclear. Is she a Capcom character? Is she a fox turned Disney character? I need to know as she is one the biggest badasses ever to be seen in arcades.

I noticed Morrigan when I was playing this game casually, but I assumed it was just a look alike. I also noticed Linn, or at least the fact that a woman with a massive spiked shoulder pad was probably a reference and not just a very overdesigned background character. Yet somehow I missed Felicia!

Yes, the current Capcom fg makers don't have the same mindset and sense of humor of 90s fg makers. Expecting those kind of references in modern SF stages is unthinkable. Even though SF4-5 aren't exactly dull about humor but it's a much lower level than what existed in the 90s. Actually it was SFA, Darkstalkers and Marvel (X-Men) that defined the specific Capcom humor style as games transitioned to Cps2. It's also unthinkable to expect Capcom to make a pure comedy and fun game like Pocket Fighter today. Besides we have a FGC generation that whines even about Dan in SF5... So imagine how this same current community would have reacted in the 90s to Norimaro in MvSF.

Morrigan appears in Gunbird 2 as a secret character.

That was a glorious time for Capcom arcade games. We can see how proud they were of how far they went. Other of their fighting games in the 90s and early 00s show many references even to less known games. Then after that time the references became fewer in the fighting games. Sure I'm not saying that the same references to those 90s games needed to continue, i mean references to newer games. But the current Capcom fg makers don't have the same humor of the fg makers of the 90s sadly. Those who made these fun references in SFA, made Pocket Fighter, made all those funny sprites in Darkstalkers, added Norimaro in MvSF, etc.
Suggestion: history of stage interactions - Maybe in multi parts, for different games. Like broken objects in SF2, npcs (Dhalsim's wife), transitions like the early Elena stage, etc.
I thought this video was great. It shows all the "easter eggs" that would otherwise be very difficult to spot if you haven't played the game or if you know it and haven't played it in a long time. Ortega at Eliza's birthday party is actually King Rasta Mon, also from Slam Masters. Ortega is bigger and has a blond beard and that beard was more brown unless the shading was off.

I love how in project X zone Morrigan treats felicia as both a friend an lil sister like always mentioning have to find her so she doesn't cause troubles for others even tho she flat out is kind hearted. XD goes to show morrigan and felicia will stick with each other in alternate worlds.
I played SEGA Saturn in 1995 and realized the Darkstalkers because I had the japanese version of it. But yeah, in another stage are guys from Final Fight. And Haggar is playable in Saturday Night Slammasters. I also like Sodom and Rolento from Final Fight in this game. And I love Dan Hibiki, who is a joke-fighter-mix of the SNK-characters. Very nice cameos.

I thought this video was great.
It shows all the "easter eggs" that would otherwise be very difficult to spot if you haven't played the game or if you know it and haven't played it in a long time.
It really references a lot of classics.
After this, you just have to play it to see them again, beyond the Street Fighter Alpha or Zero screen!

Here is something interesting, Scott McNeil voiced Ken Masters in Street Fighter The Animated Series back in 1995 and Lord Raptor in The 1995 Darkstalkers Cartoon as well as The Anime in 1997.
Ortega at Eliza's birthday party is actually King Rasta Mon, also from Slam Masters. Ortega is bigger and has a blond beard and that beard was more brown unless the shading was off.

Where ever morrigan goes felicia not to far behind. I love how in project X zone Morrigan treats felicia as both a friend an lil sister like always mentioning have to find her so she doesn't cause troubles for others even tho she flat out is kind hearted. XD goes to show morrigan and felicia will stick with each other in alternate worlds.
They could also have been cosplayers rather than the characters themselves. Like a Capcom costume party!

I played SEGA Saturn in 1995 and realized the Darkstalkers because I had the japanese version of it. But yeah, in another stage are guys from Final Fight. And Haggar is playable in Saturday Night Slammasters. I also like Sodom and Rolento from Final Fight in this game. And I love Dan Hibiki, who is a joke-fighter-mix of the SNK-characters. Very nice cameos.
