Hey Ross, here's a question... from a creative perspective, how do you find out what the client wants when they don't have a clear vision? When they just say oh we want a promo, or we want a video for social media? I've talked with clients where all they know is that they want a video, but they have no clear idea beyond that, no inspiration. What questions do you ask or process do you take them through to plan a video and then provide a quote for a video like that?
Hey! Great question. So I would ask them if they have any examples of other videos they like. If not I'll start to show them what their competitors are doing to get inspiration. As creative it's also our job to guide them so I would want to understand what they do as a business and their goal for the video. You can then lead the way with what you think is best 😊
