Seems to me all you wanna do is have people buy your guide and that’s how you really make your money is this true? Hi Greg! Thanks for this info! I've ALWAYS wanted to start a youtube channel, but i just never was able to make myself do it. I guess I've been too nervous and couldn't decide on a topic, but I think your video may have actually talked me into it!! I do have a few questions, though. When posting, does it matter the length of the video for Google to include it on their search screen? Also, I've looked into many different cameras to start a youtube channel with but have had so many different recommendations. What camera do you recommend?

Hey Bob I think I recognize your username and think we’ve been talking for years, hope you’ve been well. Yes there is, and it’s easy to use. I don’t have any tutorials on the editing part besides in my affiliate marketing course. If you want to go into affiliate marketing, I highly recommend going through the course I put together because it seriously has everything from idea to earning money covered fully step by step on screen recording to follow along. I recommend Davinci Resolve. It's the best free editing software out there. It might seem a bit intimidating at first, but follow a tutorial on RUclips and you'll probably get the basics (which are really all you need) down quickly. Good luck!!
I am working on affiliate marketing but no success has yet been gotten, but still optimistic
Can you share the other RUclips channels you do affiliate marketing videos for? It would be nice to see examples of these types of videos. All the examples you showed here are of videos WITH a lot of subscribers and a huge audience (which is the opposite of your message). Even better would be to show the analytics and income from your affiliate marketing videos.

Thanks for the comment! The other channels are something I've kept quiet about because I don't want the algorithm thinking they are getting spam traffic from people going to them from this channel. I did show one of them in the course, so it's a limited audience that sees it (I showed RUclips Adsense earnings, affiliate earnings, best performing videos, best thumbnails, etc.). As for proof of income, I shared this video ruclips.net/video/B6iWpu_srx8/видео.htmlsi=71o_axX-MYJxf_Ai showing about $2M in profit. I hope that helps give you some peace of mind! I wish I could just share everything openly but I got burned doing this a few years ago so I've become more cautious.
@@GregGottfried Yes Greg but if you got there and we decide to believe you, you're not sharing anything about your strategies to rank on the first page of Google for many different keywords in your niches. That is what people will struggle with, it's very easy to create content with ChatGPT and post on your blog but without proper keyword research and competition analysis these beginners will never rank an article on the first page of Google.

Thank you for giving a clear road map Greg. I swear this is the final video to get me into action. I am from India and was doing research to start my affiliate marketing journey from zero. And I am going to use "search strategy" with video content creation. I am trying to target US users (obviously due to high paying audience 😀) so my doubt is, how to search affiliate programs suitable for those audience(google is giving me results based on my location) and how to order those products first so that I can make a real video first of all. All these questions are freaking me out. Can you give me a little guidance?
No worries! As long as the videos are on topics that relate to products that are sold in the US, Google and RUclips will show your videos to the audience no matter where you are located 👍🏼

I’m curious on what to do if you apply to some programs but they deny you because you don’t have any content put up? Do you make content in hopes you get someone to accept and give you a link? Thank you for your video :) I have a question, about "TAGGED TOPICS" on Pintereste: When I use the Pinterest Pin Button extension (Google Chrome), to pin my one of my Esty listings, does it add my Etsy keywords to my Pinterest pin "tagged keywords"? or is it better to go directly to Pinterest and pin from there (filling out the keywords and link and title and description)? Google will automatically find it and rank it in the Google search results. They are scanning the internet for new content everyday so it happens automatically for us 👍

Why would successful gurus make these videos to increase their competition? Usually after they have saturated the field already. It is to sell their courses at $500 each.
That’s a great question, and I don’t blame you for thinking that! I thought the same thing a few years ago, and then a few things happened in my life. First thing is I made several million dollars in profit, and had built up the ongoing income streams without me having to continue working. And then secondly I read a book called the go giver by Bob Burg, where I was introduced to a concept of sharing openly, and how it can actually increase your own business. I used to think sharing what I was doing was going to increase the competition, but I’ve been doing it for several years now, and my businesses have only grown. Long story short, I get a lot more fulfillment from helping other people than I do from just working on my own businesses.

Not exactly. Rather, Google will show the video. And you can put your affiliate links in the video description. Videos are much easier to make show up instead of articles. Hope that helps clarify.

Great question. I just use the link directly to the product. I've tried making websites for the products but they were more work and less effective 👍
