Watching the first three parts closly I would say Jack wuold have had the chance to get her,but he did not!
The scene on the beach,when she almost melt away,but he shoot himself away with too much alcohol!

I mean Turner is a good man ....but Elizabeth is strong and dangerous....shes like Jack. Which is why Jack likes her. She's an impossibility. Turner likes her cause ... Well actually I don't know. I'm not like Turner. As much as I'll like to. I'm like Jack. I like how she said " I have faith in you."
Edit: also its her intentions. Her heart is on the right place. They are both right about each other. And they both don't compromise. What would that look like? I can only wonder.

Will never saw the real Elizabeth. The whole of the third movie was them not talking but fighting, scheming and not trusting each other with their plans. He asks her "how can I trust you?" and she answers "You can't". Why? Because she's a pirate as Jack said. You can't trust a pirate. She was ruthless. In that movie they have drifted apart, they were different people than they were when they started. They didn't get each other anymore, or more like, Will didn't get Elizabeth. Didn't understand her true essence.
Jack and Elizabeth knew each other in ways no other character knew them.
They had the more interesting, complex and layered romance. Because both were layered characters, grey characters. Will was one dimensional.

Definitely yes, but a committed relationship between Elizabeth and Jack would have been complicated. Jack would want to be gone at sea and not settle down and Elizabeth would want some control and normalcy. It is much hotter that they have a free passion for each other that will burn for eternity. 💘

They BELONG together! Jack sees who Elizabeth really is at heart and that she belongs on the sea. Elizabeth sees the good in Jack and sees his softer and caring side, they are both perfect together and i want sparrabeth to happen so so so much! Hopefully it happens in the sixth film!
